As Tonia, Rosia, and Blender stepped into the apartment, a peaceful silence settled over them. The day had been long, filled with unexpected turns, but for the first time in a while, it had felt… normal. A warmth Rosia hadn't realized she had missed bloomed in her chest as she glanced at her little sister, who was smiling from ear to ear.
The apartment was dimly lit, the soft glow from the streetlamp outside casting gentle shadows across the walls. The atmosphere was quiet, almost too quiet, as if the world had paused just for them.
Rosia turned to Tonia, who was stretching her arms with a sleepy yawn. "Go freshen up and get some sleep. Tomorrow's a school day, and we all need rest."
Tonia looked up at her sister with big, expressive eyes before nodding obediently. "Okay." She took a few steps toward her room but suddenly stopped, hesitating.
Rosia frowned. "What's wrong?"
