Surprise Attack
The solid rock wall was struck, scattering dust and rocks. The Cloud ninja didn't even let out a scream or groan before his face was covered in blood and he lost all strength.

Upon his death, his hands, which had been embedded in the rock, loosened as all strength left his body. However, before the corpse could fall, Gen lifted both knees, placing his feet on the corpse's shoulders and using it as a boost to propel himself upward once again.

As Gen shot up like an arrow, the corpse he had stepped on plummeted at full speed, finally crashing at the bottom of the cliff.
Since Gen had eliminated the first Cloud ninja, Buziyi and the others had already begun paying attention to him.
So, upon seeing him kill another member of their village, their fury and astonishment only grew.
The first time, they might have considered it a coincidence, but after he repeated it, it became clear that Gen was deliberately choosing Kumogakure's ninjas as his targets.

Within this first group, there were fewer than ten people. Most belonged to Kumogakure, while the few remaining came from the other Great Villages.
This was understandable since, compared to the smaller villages, the Five Great Villages had a much stronger foundation.
Although physical endurance was the most important factor in this test, the ninjas from the Great Villages, with access to more resources, had a unique advantage over those from smaller villages.
As for why the Cloud ninjas were the most numerous, it wasn't because their village was the strongest among the five, but because their training method gave them an advantage in this first test.

However, compared to the others, Gen was climbing noticeably faster. In just a few movements, he had almost reached the front of the group.
During one of his boosts, as he embedded his fingers into the rock again, his sense of danger alerted him.
At the same time, that individual also noticed Gen's gaze and, without hesitation, concentrated all his strength in his arms to propel himself sideways, spinning in the air with the intention of delivering a momentum-driven kick.
As he rapidly approached, Gen confirmed that the attacker was none other than Killer B.
Without a doubt, he had seen how Gen had killed his fellow villagers and had decided to take revenge.
Killer B's kick was as fast as it was aggressive, but Gen showed no sign of panic.
He kept his gaze cold, and the moment the kick was about to reach him, he tensed his right arm, which was still gripping the wall, and leaned his body backward, as if hanging upside down from the rock.
Thanks to this movement, Killer B's kick missed completely, passing right by, while he continued descending below Gen.
Then, Gen skillfully reversed his posture, almost as if rewinding a video, and used the inertia of his fall to launch a double stomp at Killer B.
However, Killer B was also quick to react. Feeling the counterattack, his expression turned serious, and he immediately drove one hand into the wall to stop his descent.
With a sudden twist of his body, he managed to dodge the stomp by a narrow margin. Without wasting a second, he stabilized his position and swung his free hand, forming a blade-like strike.
Gen, after missing the stomp, activated his right arm again to change direction. His feet pressed against the wall with such force that they left two small dents.
At the same time, he sensed Killer B's attack and, with a fluid motion, switched his hand grip: his left hand embedded into the rock to support his body, while his now-free right hand clenched into a fist and struck Killer B's "blade" directly.
Boom
The impact generated a strong gust of wind and caused cracks to spread across the cliff wall like a spiderweb.
Swish
Killer B immediately recoiled, as if he had received an electric shock. A large swelling appeared on the edge of his hand, from which blood began to flow.
In contrast, Gen's fist showed no damage.
"What's with his fist? Is that bastard made of iron? How can it be so hard? Plus, his strength is even greater than mine…"
Feeling the pain spreading through his palm, Killer B looked at him in astonishment and fury, even mentally cursing him in rhymes.
But in the next instant, he was stunned.
Because despite having gained the upper hand, Gen did not continue attacking. Instead, he withdrew his fist and launched himself upward, climbing swiftly using the same technique as before.
Gen had no intention of wasting any more time playing with Killer B.
