Chapter 14

This sentence seemed to touch a raw nerve, causing her to shout angrily:

"I haven't forgotten! But without you, what's the point of dreams? I have to win, so you might come back to me. I lost my way. You took the fall for me and went to jail. How could I have been so foolish?"

She wept bitterly, but I felt nothing inside. In fact, I was even disgusted.

"You should probably explain this to your audience. I got bored earlier and started a livestream. Now thousands of people know about it."

Myra collapsed on the ground, her eyes unfocused, desperately covering her ears.

The staff led her out. She would never be allowed to set foot in the arena again.

News of her scandal quickly spread online. Even her fans were disappointed in her.

"Cheating, slandering others, rigging matches for herself, and even letting someone else take the blame. Is this your boxing queen?"

"She wasn't like this before. Fame and fortune must have blinded her."
