Chapter Ten: The Unseen Enemy

As Kaito moved deeper into the heart of the warlord's stronghold, he encountered a network of spies, mercenaries, and assassins—each one more skilled and deadly than the last. The warlords had surrounded themselves with a web of loyalists and paid killers, all trained to hunt and kill.

But Kaito was the Shuriken Shadow. He moved like a whisper in the wind, unseen and unnoticed. With every step, he grew closer to Ryuu, to the answers that had eluded him.

And then, in the depths of the warlord's palace, Kaito found him.

Ryuu stood in a dimly lit chamber, speaking to a cloaked figure—one who seemed to command a power that even Kaito could feel. A sense of dread filled the air as Ryuu turned toward him, a cold smile crossing his lips.

"Kaito," Ryuu said, his voice carrying the weight of an unspoken challenge. "You're too late."
