chapter 3

Karna's voice boomed across the battlefield.

"Vasavi Shakti!"

A blinding golden spear materialized in his hands. The ultimate divine weapon, capable of slaying even gods.

But Goku just smirked. "Ooooh, that looks fun." He clenched his fists, golden energy crackling around him. "Alright, I guess I should get serious too!"

With a shout, his aura flared, brighter than the sun itself. The air vibrated. The sky darkened.

He disappeared.

No, not disappeared—he moved so fast that even Karna's divine sight struggled to keep up.

Then, Goku was in front of him.

A single punch.

It wasn't a normal attack. The force behind it bent space itself, a concentrated blast of raw power.

Karna had never been overpowered before. Not by humans, not by Servants, not even by divine spirits. But this punch—

The sky cracked. The battlefield shattered.

And Karna was sent flying.

The golden spear dissipated before it could even be thrown.

The warrior blessed by the Sun God, the son of Surya himself—defeated in a single blow.

Goku floated above the battlefield, crossing his arms. "Aww, man. You guys are strong, but I think I might be a little too strong for this fight."

Siegfried struggled to his feet, gripping Balmung. "You… you are not bound by the Grail, are you?"

"Nah." Goku shrugged. "I dunno how I got here. One minute, I was training, next thing I know—BOOM! Here I am!"

Shirou Kotomine stepped forward, gazing up at the Saiyan. "Then, tell me… if you have no wish for the Grail, why do you fight?"

Goku grinned. "Because it's fun!"

The Masters and Servants could only stare.

This was no war for him.

This was just a game.

A game where he was the strongest player.
