chapter 10

The days passed quickly, each one steeped in tension. The war raged on in the shadows, the battles hidden beneath the surface of a world unaware of the violence brewing just out of sight. But for Goku, the fight wasn't about politics or strategy. It was about the challenge. The thrill of a worthy opponent.

He trained relentlessly, knowing that the stronger his enemies became, the greater his own strength would have to be. But deep down, he could feel the weight of this war bearing down on him. Something far more dangerous than any foe he'd encountered before was on the horizon.

In the distant halls of the Black Faction's base, Sieg stood before his Master, the mysterious and quiet Kairi. Their conversations had been sparse, and despite his newfound determination, Sieg still had many questions. But now, in the wake of recent events, he knew one thing for certain—this war was unlike any he had ever fought in.

"Sieg," Kairi said, her voice soft but unwavering. "Do you understand the weight of what you're carrying?"

Sieg nodded. "The Holy Grail… It holds power beyond anything I can imagine. But there's more to this war than that." He paused, looking toward the training room where he knew Goku would be sparring with Mordred once more. "The man who calls himself a 'Saiyan'… He does not belong here. Yet he is a force none of us can ignore."

Kairi's gaze hardened. "He is an anomaly. But be wary, Sieg. Even anomalies can shape the future."

Meanwhile, in the Red Faction's camp, Jeanne had gathered her remaining forces.

"Shirou Kotomine's words cannot be ignored," she said, addressing the group. "He holds power over the Grail. If he is allowed to make his move, it will be catastrophic."

Her Servants—Siegfried, Mordred, and others—stood silent, knowing the weight of what she was saying. But the one who had everyone's attention was Goku, who had just walked in, casually wiping sweat from his brow.

"So, uh… what's the plan now?" he asked, grinning. "I mean, I'm ready for whatever, but if you guys have some strategy, I'm all ears."

Jeanne glanced at him, trying to read his intentions. "You… Are you sure you're prepared for what's to come?"

Goku shrugged, an easygoing smile on his face. "I'm always ready for a good fight. So, let's get to it!"

Mordred sighed, stepping forward with her sword on her shoulder. "He's impossible. But he's right. The sooner we figure out Kotomine's plans, the better."

Jeanne's eyes narrowed as she met Goku's gaze. "You'll fight. But know this: there's more at stake than just strength. This war will decide the fate of many worlds. We cannot afford to be reckless."

Goku's grin widened. "Don't worry, I get it. You guys might care about saving the world and all that, but I'm just here for the strongest guy I can fight."

Mordred laughed, crossing her arms. "I knew you'd say something like that."

Jeanne stood tall, her voice commanding. "We cannot underestimate Kotomine. If he seeks control of the Grail, we must act swiftly. The war is nearing its climax."

Sieg raised a hand. "We should gather information on Kotomine's movements. Perhaps he has already made his next move."

As they prepared to move out, a sudden sensation hit the air—like a ripple through reality itself.

Jeanne stiffened. "He's here."

Suddenly, a crackling energy echoed across the field.

From the horizon, the air seemed to shimmer, and through the distortion, a new presence emerged.

The silhouette of a figure appeared—a man clad in armor, his eyes glowing with an unsettling crimson light.

It was Kotomine.

But this time, something was different. His very aura felt like a storm, swirling with dark energy.

Jeanne's grip tightened on her sword. "So it begins…"

Goku grinned, sensing the power emanating from Kotomine. "Looks like it's go time!"
