chapter 15

The battle raged on, but now the stakes were clearer. The creature born from the Grail, a twisted, nightmarish entity that existed beyond the boundaries of reality, loomed over them, threatening to consume all light and hope. Its dark tendrils lashed out, each strike filled with malevolent energy, aiming to crush anything in its path.

Goku, bruised but determined, stood tall. His body pulsed with power, the golden aura of a Super Saiyan wrapping around him as he assessed the situation. Despite the overwhelming odds, there was one thing that burned in his heart: he couldn't let this world fall to the Grail.

"Alright!" Goku yelled, cracking his knuckles. "Let's do this!"

Mordred stepped up beside him, her face grim. "We can't just keep attacking blindly. We need a plan—now."

Jeanne, standing near them with a deep frown, nodded. "Mordred's right. The creature is a manifestation of the Grail's power, and as long as it remains connected to the Grail, our attacks will only delay it. We need to sever that link."

Sieg's voice was steady, despite the chaos around them. "But how do we get to the Grail? Kotomine has it under his control. And he's not going to let us destroy it that easily."

"Then we make him," Goku said with a smirk, his hands clenching into fists as his energy flared brighter. "We'll deal with him first, then focus on the Grail. Sound good?"

Jeanne's expression softened. "It's dangerous, but it may be our only chance. Kotomine's hold on the Grail is strong, but not unbreakable."

Suddenly, Kotomine's mocking laugh rang out through the battlefield. His figure, standing atop a ruined pillar, seemed to soak in the carnage around him. "You think you can stop this? The Grail cannot be defeated by mere force alone. It is a force of nature—a will of the universe. And I am the one who wields it."

"Shut up!" Goku shouted, his voice carrying through the battlefield. "You think that just because you've got some magic toy, you're all powerful? You're nothing!"

Kotomine's smile only grew wider, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Oh, but Goku, you misunderstand. The Grail doesn't just grant wishes—it creates its own reality. And in this reality, I am the architect. All you're doing is playing into my hands. You'll see soon enough."

With a flick of his wrist, Kotomine raised his hand to the sky, and the dark energy surrounding the creature intensified. The beast howled as its body seemed to swell, becoming more monstrous, more powerful. The air around them warped, and the once-fading rift in the sky grew larger once more, a vortex of darkness threatening to swallow them all.

Sieg took a step forward, his hand tightly gripping his sword. "We have to act now. If we let Kotomine finish what he started, we'll never be able to stop him."

Goku grinned. "That's exactly what I was thinking." He turned to Mordred, Jeanne, and Sieg. "Let's go, team! We'll stop Kotomine and his ugly monster!"

With that, Goku dashed forward, a flash of golden light trailing behind him as he aimed straight for Kotomine. He wasn't going to wait for anyone. He was done letting that guy control the battlefield.

But before Goku could reach him, the creature's massive tendrils shot forward, blocking his path. Goku's eyes narrowed, and in an instant, he spun around, dodging the attack with ease. He continued to move, shifting through the air at top speed, his fists leaving trails of golden energy behind him as he struck at the tendrils, sending shockwaves rippling through the ground.

"Goku!" Jeanne's voice rang out. "We need to break the connection to the Grail! It's not just the creature—we have to destroy Kotomine's link to it!"

"I know!" Goku shouted back. "I'm getting there!"

As Goku fought to clear a path, Mordred and Siegfried joined the fray, their swords glowing with righteous fury. Mordred's blade, Clarent, cut through the dark tendrils with ease, while Siegfried's sword gleamed with a holy light, cutting down anything in its way.

The creature, sensing its protectors were being pushed back, let out a deafening roar. Its body expanded, and the ground trembled beneath its monstrous presence. It swung a massive claw toward Goku, and the impact created a shockwave that sent both Mordred and Siegfried flying.

"Not again!" Mordred shouted, her body slamming into the ground with a grunt.

Sieg immediately stood, his face set in determination. "We'll hold it off. You get to Kotomine!"

Goku nodded, shooting forward with the power of a Super Saiyan. He could feel the intense pressure of the creature's presence, but nothing was going to stop him. He dashed through the air, cutting through the dark energy like a bolt of lightning, until finally, he reached Kotomine.

The priest stood calmly, his arms outstretched, as though he were the master of everything around him. His voice was filled with eerie calm as he spoke. "You think you can stop me, Goku? You are nothing but a puppet, just like all the others. The Grail will reshape the world, and I will be its harbinger."

"I don't care about your creepy little plans, Kotomine," Goku retorted, his eyes burning with intensity. "You're standing in my way. That's a big mistake."

Without hesitation, Goku shot forward, fist cocked and ready to deliver a blow that would end the war right then and there.

But Kotomine's smile only widened as he snapped his fingers. The ground beneath them shifted, and a barrier of dark energy enveloped him, protecting him from Goku's attack. The punch collided with the barrier, sending sparks flying, but the dark energy absorbed the force, not giving an inch.

"Did you really think I would be so foolish?" Kotomine sneered. "The Grail gives me more than just power. It gives me control."

Goku gritted his teeth, the air around him crackling with tension. He could feel it. Kotomine was holding back, waiting for something. Maybe the Grail's full potential.

"I'm not backing down, Kotomine!" Goku roared, his aura flaring brighter, pushing against the dark barrier. "If you think this little shield will stop me, you've got another thing coming!"

With a mighty yell, Goku powered up even further, his aura exploding outward, causing the very air to vibrate with the sheer force. His fists slammed into the barrier again and again, each blow landing with explosive force.

"I'll break you!" Goku shouted. "I'll break this barrier and everything in my way!"

The barrier cracked. A small fissure appeared in the darkness. Kotomine's eyes widened. "No… this can't be…"

Goku's smile never wavered. "That's right. The Grail's power doesn't matter to me. It's just like any other challenge. And I always overcome them!"

With one final, thunderous punch, Goku shattered the dark barrier completely, sending Kotomine stumbling backward.

The priest gritted his teeth, his eyes flashing with rage. "This is not over, Goku. Not by a long shot."

Goku smirked, taking a step forward. "You're right about one thing, Kotomine. It's not over. But it's almost done."

The final battle had begun, and no dark power or sinister force would stand in their way.
