The Fierce Colonist

"Understood!"

The group responded in unison, then returned to their tasks.

Ah Qiang and Cuihua were names that Ronald had given himself. As the first two colonists in the base, Ronald had set all their skills to level 10 when establishing their initial attributes.

In RimWorld, each character has different starting stats. However, if you activate the "Careful Preparation" mod, you can freely adjust a character's starting attributes. Of course, you can't alter the attributes of those who join the base later on.

Since this was a survival and development game, character skills were deeply tied to survival and growth. There were twelve skills in total: Shooting, Combat, Social, Animal Taming, Medicine, Cooking, Construction, Planting, Mining, Art, Crafting, and Intelligence. Skills ranged from level 0 to level 20.

For Ah Qiang and Cuihua, Ronald had set all skills to level 10—balanced enough to keep the game fair, without making things too difficult for himself.

Leaving the central circular hall with the two of them, Ronald walked down the silver-tiled corridor. As he glanced at the calm expression of the two behind him, he asked in his mind, "System, how do I check the colonists' stats?"

A mechanical female voice replied, "The 'Inspect' skill was unlocked when you first entered this space. Simply focus on your target and think of their name to view their stats."

"Got it."

Ronald stopped, turning to face the two who had also halted. He focused on Ah Qiang and thought, "Inspect!"

Immediately, Ah Qiang's personal information appeared in his mind.

Name: Ah QiangStrength: Body Refining Realm Level 3 (Steel Body)Leadership: 2Politics: 1Strategy: 0Social: 10Animal Taming: 10Medicine: 15Cooking: 12Construction: 17Planting: 9Mining: 16Art: 8Crafting: 11Intelligence: 8

In RimWorld, skills gradually improve based on the work a colonist does. Conversely, if they don't engage in certain tasks, those skills will gradually decline. Since this base had been running for over seven years, Ah Qiang's abilities had clearly evolved from his original state.

Ronald examined Ah Qiang's stats. Most were similar to how they appeared in the game, but with a few changes. Shooting and Combat skills were gone, replaced by a new "Strength" stat. Also, Leadership, Politics, and Strategy had been added.

"System, why did Ah Qiang's Shooting and Combat skills disappear? What about these new stats?" Ronald had a vague idea but wanted a clear explanation from the system.

The system quickly explained, "To adapt to the power structure of the host's world, all colonists' Shooting and Combat skills have been converted into a Strength value using a complex formula."

"Ah Qiang's strength level is equivalent to a practitioner in the Body Refining Realm Level 3 on Tianheng Continent, hence the display as 'Body Refining Realm Level 3 (Steel Body)'. However, since Ah Qiang has injected gene enhancers, his physical abilities surpass those of an average human."

"Therefore, Ah Qiang's true power is slightly stronger than a typical warrior at the same level. Additionally, to suit the host's world, three new attributes—Leadership, Politics, and Strategy—have been added."

Ronald chuckled and nodded in satisfaction. He was pleased with the system's adjustments.

On Tianheng Continent, there were well-defined stages of power. Ronald knew that the Body Refining Realm had ten levels, ranging from: Body Cultivation, Strength Training, Steel Body, Iron Bone, Brave Strength, Six Spirits, Pulse Condensation, Marrow Cleansing, Divine Transformation…
