Total Annihilation: The Fall of the Entire Army

The battle raged on with increasing ferocity.

The Mountain Bandit coalition was vast in numbers, and the elite guards fought like beasts. The air was thick with the stench of blood and the cries of the dying.

Among the chaos, four figures stood out: Liu Long, Zhang Tie, Cuihua, and Aqiang. Like four blades cutting through the battlefield, they left a trail of destruction in their wake. But even they were overshadowed by Ronald.

Clad in his shining steel Sun-Moon armor, with a golden red-plumed helm on his head and a purple-gold blade in hand, he rode an incredible unicorn—its hooves pounding across the ground, leaving no enemy untouched.

This was no ordinary mount. The unicorn, though still young, was a rare spirit beast with terrifying strength at the sixth level of the Body Refining Realm. It had also undergone genetic enhancements.

The difference between levels in the Body Refining Realm was immense. While Cuihua and Aqiang at the third level were already a formidable force, a sixth-level beast like the unicorn was unstoppable. Anyone in its path was either dead or seriously wounded, and any who dared to block it would be torn apart!

Ronald's blade moved like lightning, slicing through the enemy ranks with the deadly precision of his Purple Thunder Slash. One strike, one kill.

With the unicorn charging ahead, Ronald cut through the Mountain Bandits' formation like a whirlwind, unstoppable and relentless.

From a distance, it was as though a white streak of light was weaving its way through the battlefield, destroying everything in its path!

"You human scum! Take my blade!"

The leader of the Iron Wolf Bandits, a fierce warrior in the second level of the Body Refining Realm, charged toward Ronald, aiming to stop him.

"Anyone who blocks me dies!" Ronald roared, meeting the attack head-on.

The sound of metal clashing rang out, followed by the sickening sound of a head flying through the air.

The Iron Wolf leader stood frozen for a moment, watching his decapitated body begin to collapse. His mind flickered with Ronald's calm words from yesterday: "I want it all."

Everything went dark, and with that, his headless corpse hit the ground.

One strike. Ronald had just achieved his first-ever victory against an opponent of a higher realm!

"Ah! The Wolf Leader's dead!"

The battlefield echoed with screams, but they were quickly drowned out by the sounds of battle.

Suddenly, a volley of crossbow bolts shot from behind, striking the Mountain Bandits in their chests with deadly accuracy. The Hunter Special Forces, hidden on the flanks, had finally joined the fray.

Unlike the crimson-cloaked Elite Guards, these Hunters wore black steel armor and wielded crossbows that Ronald had personally crafted for them. Capable of firing three bolts at once, they were far superior to the Iron Bone Bows.

Though only eight in number, these Hunters were relentless in combat. Their accuracy was flawless, and they moved like shadows on the battlefield, silently reaping lives.

Meanwhile, the Earth Demon leader was nearing his breaking point. Bound by Zhang Tie's relentless assault, he was unable to fully utilize his strength. The equipment disparity was too great, and he dared not confront Zhang Tie's steel sword directly.

As the Mountain Bandits' forces were slaughtered mercilessly, the Earth Demon leader's heart bled with rage. Years of effort were about to be lost in this battle.

After nearly half an hour of brutal combat, the Mountain Bandit army was already in full retreat, their morale shattered.

Ronald cleaved through an Earth Demon with a single strike, only to realize that the remaining bandits were too afraid to challenge him.

His armor was soaked in blood as he surveyed the battlefield, then roared, "The bandits are finished! End this now!"

His voice rang out, and several generals responded with savage roars of their own, cutting down bandit after bandit. Dozens of alien soldiers fell in moments.

The Hunter squad, upon hearing the command, stowed their crossbows and unsheathed twin blades, charging into the fray.

Each of these eight fighters was at least at the first level of the Body Refining Realm, enhanced with genetic serums and Tiger Wolf Pills. Their combat power was enough to make anyone tremble in fear.

They moved like black whirlwinds, decimating their foes with terrifying speed.

This was the final blow.

The Mountain Bandits could no longer withstand the carnage. Their ranks broke apart, and the collapse was unstoppable. No matter how hard their leaders shouted, it was useless.

"These humans… they're not human!"

"Run!"

The generals, their spirits broken, immediately turned to flee, spurring their horses to escape.

"Surrender and you'll be spared!" Ronald shouted, his voice booming like thunder.

"Surrender and you'll be spared!" The Elite Guards shouted in unison, their voices echoing across the battlefield like a thunderclap.

"Please, don't kill me! I surrender!"

The Mountain Bandits, broken in spirit, dropped their weapons and knelt in surrender, no longer resisting.

In moments, the battlefield was filled with kneeling bandits, while the few remaining rebels were swiftly put down.

With the battle all but over, Liu Long rode up to Ronald's side.

"Lord, the leaders have fled. Shall we pursue them?" he asked.

Ronald snorted coldly. "The monk may run, but the temple remains. Let them live for a few more days."

"Liu Long, send orders to Fan Qingyue and Cuihua to tend to the wounded. Aqiang, Zhang Tie, escort the prisoners. Take a team of men and lead the refugees back to the camp."

"Yes, Lord!" Liu Long responded and went to organize the task.

By evening, most of the forces had returned to camp. After Liu Long's quick count, he estimated that over 30,000 refugees had arrived, along with more than 3,000 prisoners.

The sudden influx of 40,000 people placed an enormous strain on the camp—there were urgent matters of shelter, food, and winter supplies to address.

Ronald, looking at the destitute refugees who were freezing and starving, felt overwhelmed.

He had already ordered Aqiang to drop everything and focus on building temporary wooden shelters.

Whether they were villagers or prisoners, anyone with strength was forced to work on the construction site.

Winter was fast approaching, and if they didn't complete the shelters soon, many would freeze to death.

In a corner of the camp, Fan Qingyue and the village women set up temporary food distribution tents.

Fortunately, Ronald had brought along a warehouse full of dried meat, or these refugees would have starved to death before the cold could even claim them.

Time was running out, and everyone worked through the night, managing to finish building 500 large wooden huts before midnight. The refugees huddled together in groups of ten or more per room, just trying to survive the night.
