Elysia had been thinking for days about what she would say to the king. She often found herself lost in thought inside her room. Now, she stood there, hesitating. She was unsure whether she should speak with Lord Draegon. Anxiety filled her, making her restless about what she would say.
However, she didn't want to keep him waiting, so she decided to meet him. Stepping out of her room, she headed toward Lord Draegon's chamber. She knew that he was usually awake by four in the morning. She knocked on the door and opened it, only to find that he wasn't there.
Unbeknownst to Elysia, someone was standing behind her.
A gentle tap on her shoulder made her turn around, and she saw Sophie smiling at her, as if she had something to say.
"Are you looking for my brother?" Sophie asked with a grin.
"Huh? Oh… Yes, I need to speak with the king, Your Highness," Elysia replied.
"Oh, come on! Just call me Sophie," Sophie said with a playful smile.
"My brother isn't here right now. He went to Obsidian Welry (Death in West) because tonight is the full blue moon. Many vampires are gathering there for the celebration," she added.
"If that's the case, then I'll just wait for him…" Elysia replied.
"No, Elysia, we need to go there too," Sophie said firmly.
Without hesitation, Sophie grabbed Elysia's hand and led her outside the palace. In the blink of an eye, they were already outside, waiting for something.
Sophie suddenly leaped into the air and pulled down an Udang (Giant Shrimp) from the sky. The massive creature had no choice but to submit to Sophie's superior strength. The creature fell to the ground, and Sophie climbed onto its back.
Elysia, still uneasy about heights, hesitated but eventually joined Sophie, clinging tightly to her.
"Hold on tight, Elysia. We're flying now," Sophie said.
Elysia shut her eyes tightly, refusing to see herself floating in the sky. The creature moved swiftly, as fast as a racing vehicle. The speed was so intense that Elysia could barely keep her eyes open—if she did, she would surely tear up from the wind.
Within just two minutes, they arrived at their destination—where Lord Draegon was.
As Elysia slowly opened her eyes, she was stunned.
Obsidian Welry (Death in West) was unlike anything she had ever seen. The place was filled with towering buildings. There were no trees or living plants. Like Lord Draegon's domain, this place was engulfed in darkness, with barely any light visible. The thick clouds in the sky completely blocked out the sun, making it feel like an eternal night.
Looking around, Elysia couldn't help but feel a deep sadness—just like when she first saw Lord Draegon's land.
"This is Ernyl's territory," Sophie told her.
"Ernyl? Who is he, Sophie?" Elysia asked curiously.
"He's the king here. This is his domain… Come on, Elysia. The celebration must have already started. It lasts from morning till night," Sophie explained.
"Sophie, what's so special about the blue moon tonight?" Elysia asked.
"The blue moon only happens once every hundred years. It's a special event because it grants us vampires an increase in power," Sophie explained.
"I see… But I don't think I belong at this kind of celebration," Elysia said hesitantly.
"What are you saying, Elysia? Of course, you're part of it! You're my brother's beloved. Besides, Tuwa (Grandma) Morwenna and Vlood are also here, so don't be shy," Sophie reassured her.
As they continued walking and talking, they stopped in front of a massive castle-like structure. Looking up, Elysia felt dizzy from its towering height. A long pathway led to Ernyl's building, and unlike the other buildings, it had a modern design. A vast bridge stretched toward the entrance, and beneath it was a sea filled with the remains of fallen creatures. The air was thick with smoke, almost like pollution. Thankfully, Elysia had a covering over her face—otherwise, the toxic air could harm her body.
Her heart pounded with nervousness, knowing that she was about to see Lord Draegon.
Even though she was uncertain about what to say, she knew she had to say it.
As they entered the massive building, Elysia was left speechless.
Countless creatures were dancing—just like in a nightclub. The music was so loud that she could barely hear anything, not even Sophie's voice.
Because of this, Sophie grabbed her hand and led her to another room.
Inside, Elysia finally felt relieved.
"My brother is right by that door, along with Vlood, Ernyl, and Damien," Sophie said before hurriedly leaving to join the dance.
"W-Wait, Sophie…" Elysia called out, but Sophie had already disappeared.
Now Elysia is in front. Her heart felt like it was racing because of its incredible speed. But he needed to tell the truth, so he slowly opened the door. And there he saw Lord Draegon. He saw him kissing the woman lying on the sofa. Si Lord Draegon ay nasa ibabaw ng babae na nakabuka ang mga binti. Some of his cousins are also busy kissing women. Even though the door was open, they didn't even notice that someone had come in. When Elysia saw that, she immediately left. She moved away from the young man's location. His heart almost vanished because of what he saw. The pain he felt was so intense, it was as if he had been pricked by a needle multiple times. She just burst into tears because she couldn't bear to see that. What she wanted to tell the man was that she loved him too, but it seemed like time was playing with her. "Who am I to be loved ???," Elysia said with tears.
He bowed his head and cried in a place far from Lord Draegon's chamber. He cried so much that he fell asleep and leaned against the wall...
