Hard to Let Go

A week later.

Ava was in the restoration studio, putting the final touches on an old oil painting.

Stella arrived at Artis Antiquus with an important matter, but since Ava didn't like being disturbed while working, she quietly waited on the first floor, sipping tea and scrolling through her phone.

It wasn't until around noon that Ava finally came downstairs.

Stella greeted her with a bright smile. "Ava, I'm here on behalf of our archaeological team. We need your help."

Ava raised a brow. "Archaeology? Since when did you switch careers?"

"Well, not exactly a switch. I'm still in the field, just a different side of it. Working at the museum was something my mom arranged. But my real passion has always been fieldwork. I studied ancient burial architecture and mechanical trap design while abroad."

Ava gave a soft chuckle. "Burials and traps? That sounds intense. What's the project?"
