"who could have guessed that she would unlock some of her bloodline?" Glen spoke with a sigh.
"After all, she is the unparalleled genius of our Quiren Family," said the old patriarch.
"Even I was not able to unlock much of my bloodline and it took me almost a month to learn some type of attack from it. Yet she was able to unlock two ultimate moves in a blinking of an eye," Glen continued somehow feeling down.
"Her bloodline is the most concentrated and also this is just a tiny part of it," the old Patriarch said calmly.
"Could it be because of him?" Glen asked feeling like his world had come to a standstill.
"You should have noted that there was something that he told her before she unlocked her bloodline. Even her eyes seemed to have changed and one can see the intent in her eyes. This is one reason we should bring him to our family."

"What is it? I thought you did not know about these things?" She jested and Athan smiled.
"It is easy to tell. You attack right now emulated the peregrine falcon hunting. This can only mean that you did not learn it and it was as though it is innate to you. A peregrine falcon can be said to be the fastest bird when it is hunting.
" The first attack you unleashed probably emulated the claws. When hunting, a peregrine falcon will unleash an attack with it claws and often times, it sends its prey flying. After, if the opponent survives the first attack, the falcon will attack with its beak and this is usually the finishing blow.
"That second attack caught me off guard and it would easily have killed someone had they been slow to react. With your strength, you are only able to unleash the two attacks before you get exhausted.
"The two attacks are enough to make you invincible but what happens when the peregrine falcon is unable to kill the opponent with the beak?"
"What?"
"You should find out when your strength increases. Even if you were to know, you would probably fail to unleash the attack. What you should try to do now is not try increase the load of attacks that you can learn from your Bloodline but you should polish the two attacks you have learnt.
"After all, a peregrine falcon will always kill the prey with the first attack or heavily injure it and then, it will always make sure the prey dies by its beak if the prey survived the claws. You should understand what I mean. These two should be your ultimate attacks and not you sole reliance," Athan said and sat before her.
"What?" She asked when he sat before her. But Athan took his time as he continued to stare at her.
"Could it be that you have another bloodline flowing through you?" He finally asked the question that had been bothering him.
"Maybe or maybe not,"she replied mysteriously. "Why don't you tell me what you went through in the danger zone?"
"Its a secret. I would have told you if you were really reliable and represented yourself not the Quiren Family " Athan replied. It was not that he could not sense the two who were observing them.
Calista could only discard the topic as she stood up and and picked the sword.
"It can't be that you sat down because you are tired right?"
"I indeed am not tired but you are. You should rest for a little longer."
"Hmph!"
She ignored him and stepped away from him and started swinging her sword downwards and sideways. She would often close her eyes for a while. She was trying to recall something.
What he had said was true. She had the two attacks but she could not perform them without activating her bloodline. If she could perform them without using her Bloodline, just how powerful would they be when she fully mastered them and then used her bloodline at the same time?
She opened her eyes and looked at Athan. Could it be that he had predicted that she would figure out the technique. Looking at him, she could not help but feel frustrated. Just how was she supposed to catch up with such a monster.
"You finally figured it out! That is only natural to be expected from you. Then I guess that I too should stand up now," Athan said as he stretched and yawned which could not help but draw an angry glare from Calista. He dared to be bored!
She wanted to attack him but she stopped herself. Maybe she could try to rile him up.
"Can you consider yourself a sword master?" She asked probingly.
"I don't consider myself one because I can't give myself such a useless title," he replied with a scoff.
"Ha! A sword master can easily copy any move. Can you do that and emulate the peregrine falcon's attack?"
"I..."
"You can't, after all, that attack was from my bloodline!"
"You really know how to brag," Athan said as he pulled his sword and held it pointing sideways with one hand. "Watch closely and learn. Be ready to defend," Athan said as he took a few steps back to the edge of the stage.
"Hmph! Shameless boasting."
He took a step forward like he was walking but in the next instant, he disappeared from her eyes. She was shocked as she looked up at the sky and she cursed as she raised her sword to defend when she saw his maximum height which was higher than what she had achieved.
She could not even breath out when she saw him vanish and his sword clash with her's. Her hands ached as she was sent flying off the stage. She lost grip of her sword and skidded on her feet backwards stopping meters away.
She looked at him horrified. He was body cultivator and she was not sure how he was able to emulate that attack. After all, it was a wind affiliated attack.
She watched him sheath his sword and she could tell that he had not used his full strength and he had aimed for her sword on purpose. This could only rise goosebumps as she walked to her sword and went back to the stage.
She looked at him with reverence.
"How did you do that?" It should have been impossible. Athan chuckled and he could not reject her request. From her eyes, he saw something light up. Geniuses really grew up fast.
"I have fought many demons and I have been able to learn a thing or two from them. They said that humans would usually observe ancient beast and they would often come up with techniques that emulated the beasts.
"That attack I was able to observe the peregrine falcon attack from you. I was also able to decipher its profoundness when you attacked. All I had to do was follow the technique.
"Its just that with your bloodline, you will easily surpass my attack," Athan lectured.
Calista looked at him with her mouth rounded as she digested what he had told her. That was him just casually observing and emulating an attack.
Maybe a sword master was too low for his eyes.
"Teach me."
"I have little to teach you but I will tell you not to use your Bloodline to unleash that attack until you can unleash it at full mastery. I performed that technique to show you that even without you bloodline, you can still perform it and still unleash a powerful attack.
"At full mastery, using your bloodline will make the attack moere powerful," Athan replied. He was confident in learning any technique other than Skyfall easily as long as it involved the sword.
Calista attempted the technique without using her Bloodline and realized just how difficult it was. She had to use the explosive speed of wind Qi to allow her to rise and maintain her levitation for a while.
She also had to use the falling speed to be too fast for the normal eye. This was yet another difficult task. And she realized that she was too slow. By the time she reached him, she could not even force him to shake.
Just how was it that he was able to perform it on a fluke? She was already having a hard time learning while he easily learnt it from her.
"Speed is the main factor here. Its not the falling speed alone that matters though. The time you take to reach you maximum height in a split second is what matters most. The distance you reach should be your climax and do not try to increase it.
"Also, you should not waste any time after reaching the maximum height and you should quickly prepare for the fall. This way, you wouldn't lose you explosive momentum and also your attack will not lose their strength.
"When you are almost five meters away from the opponent, you should have unleashed the attack. To make it fatal, you should also use earth Qi to strengthen it. Also, its not compulsory that you unleash only one attack.
"I could unleash almost ten if I wanted. But you are yet to reach that level. Just familiarize yourself with the one sword attack," Athan continued and she nodded. It seemed that she had been enlightened.
"What do you think about being a sword master. This way, you can even set up a dojo fo yourself and teach the way of the sword," Calista said after listening to him teach her. He could make a good teacher.
"I was bored and decided to come teach you. It is only for today and I am not doing it again. Just make sure you learn as much as possible," Athan said pouring cold water on her plan.
"Okay," she said as she stepped back and held the sword with only one arm like Athan had pointing it sideways. She took a step forth and disappeared...
