chapter 5 : principal office

The corridor to Principal Lin's office smelled of polished cedar and ambition.

Long Su's boots sank into the plush crimson carpet with every step, as though the floor itself resisted him.

He paused outside the mahogany door, its surface carved with coiling dragons whose gemstone eyes gleamed in the lamplight. 'This is it, he thought, his throat dry. 'The first step of power.'

He knocked—three sharp raps—and the door swung open on silent hinges.

The office was a tomb of opulence. Sunlight filtered through stained-glass windows, casting blood-red patterns across walls lined with gilded bookshelves.

Principal Lin sat behind a desk of blackened bonewood, his fingers steepled beneath his chin. A teacup steamed at his elbow, its fragrance bitter—*dragonroot*, Long Su recognized. A poison in high doses, a stimulant in small ones.

"Ah. Long su." The principal's voice was silk over steel.

"Sit." remaining neutral as he motioned for Long Su to take a seat.

Long Su wasn't surprised when the principal kone his name as a principal of a lord professional school knowing every student name is normal

lowered himself into the chair opposite, its velvet cushions swallowing him whole.

The principal's gaze never wavered, cold and assessing, like a surgeon probing for weakness.

"So, long su," the principal said, his voice calm and clear. "I understand you have something you'd like to discuss with me."

Long su drew a big breath and nodded.

"Yes, Sir. I'm looking for your advice and assistance to maximize my days as a lord. My skeleton legion lacks… potency. I need rare units buldings.or any other way to strength my skeleton units."

" and i believe that The Academy's vaults hold such things."

Principal Lin leaned back, the shadows deepening the hollows of his cheeks. "And in return?"

The words tasted like ash. "My parents' Demi-Worlds."

A beat of silence.

Somewhere, a clock ticked—too loud, like a blade tapping glass.

Principal Lin's lips twitched. Not a smile.

A predator's reflex. "A generous offer. Though I wonder… do you grasp what you surrender?" He lifted his teacup, steam curling around his face.

"A Demi-World is more than land. It is memory. Legacy. Your mother's laughter in its meadows. Your father's blood in its soil."

Long Su stiffened. He's baiting you. Don't rise. "Memories won't shield me from the death."

No matter what place or time personal strength is what matter

The demi-world can be considered as hig level resources for all the lord's and everyone want to have more of them

But for long su they are now just a larg area of land that can't help him in any way

Maybe until he graduated from university he can use them to increase his strength

But no one can konw what the future held for you, so giving the pair of demi-world to the school was the safest and most effective way

"True." Lin set the cup down with a soft clink. "But power without roots is a hollow thing, Student long. You'll be a weed in a storm—torn away when the winds howl."

Long Su's nails bit into his palms. "I'll take that risk."

He was aware that he was taking a risk, but he believed that the risk was worthwhile if it meant attaining his goals and fulfilling his destiny

The principal think about this offer for a time before nodding.

"Very good. I believe we have the beginnings of a mutually beneficial agreement. "

"But remember, long su, that after today's agreement, you will lose all the authority and possibility to touch your parent's demi-world in the future ."

.

With a swift two dark cards suddenly appeared in the hand of Principal Lin "Take these cards and activate them inside your world"

Long Su wrenched free, the cards burning in his grip. "Thank you, Principal."

feeling a mix of excitement and worry about his future

"A final warning." principal Lin's voice pursued him to the door. "The undead are hungryfor life elements. Feed them your rage, your grief—but never your fear. Fear is a flame, be careful that the skeleton will burn you ."

Taking the principal words in his heart Long su went out of the office

Seeing him leaving the principal with closed eyes thought

Watching long su move out of the office, the principal said in low voice " Hope your future is better than your parents"

The hallway air felt lighter, sweeter, but Long Su's chest still seethed. He stared at the cards.

"Hey!"

Ming Yue leaned against a pillar, her goblin familiar gnawing on a chicken bone.

"Heard you sold your soul to the old principal." She nodded at the cards. "Those'll improve your core unit, you know. Lin's 'gifts' always do, but don't expect to reach the top easily."

Long Su pocketed them, his voice flat. "Worried about competition, Ming?"

She laughed, sharp and brittle. "Hardly. I just like watching fools leap into graves." She tossed her familiar a treat—it caught the morsel midair with a snap of jagged teeth. "See you in the trials, Lord Bones. Try not to crumble."

Long su look at Ming Yue leaving figure with A face full of astonishment at her behavior

because looking at his memories, there is no familiarity between them other than that they are in the same class along with Chen Shuirong

'I remember that her first units are rare human beings with light attributes '

After that he return to the normal school life where all the class teach you the basics of how to become a good lord

But unfortunately, all the classes didn't teach much about the undead units

Long su after a long time of school returned home happily

—‐—————

Return to his home

after some bome fast meal and a quick shower

Long su with thought, and in a blink of an eye, he was already in the territory.

He was standing in front of the small palace, taking out the black card, and said

Activate."

The cards dissolved into ash.

For a heartbeat—silence.

Then the ground *shuddered*.

Twin pillars of light erupted—one crimson as a slit throat, the other gold like molten sunfire.

The Two pillars of lights shine and quietly fly from long hands and land next to the small palace one on the right and one on the left

Long Su staggered, the heat from the red beam blistering his cheeks, the cold from the gold searing his lungs.

When the light faded, two structures towered over the palace.

The crimson barracks pulsed like a monstrous heart, its walls ribbed with serrated iron.

The golden fortress gleamed with alien opulence, its arches twisted into screaming dragon skulls, their hollow eyes weeping liquid light.

The architecture of these buildings seemed to emulate the authoritative aura of military installations, yet what truly set them apart were their striking hues – one bathed in radiant gold, the other an intense, fiery red.

Approaching the crimson-hued edifice, a sense of power and discipline became palpable.

[Sowrd and Shield Infantry camp](red )

Can train sword and shield skeleton infantry.

-- First-level soldier cost: cost 1000 gold coins

[ Royal Guard camp ]( gold )

Can train bloodthirsty royal guard.

--First level solder cost: 10,000 gold coins

—————

Seeing the name of the building and the shiny golden colors above them

"Golden building, golden building " Long Su couldn't hold his existing voice and started jumping and shouting happily

Long Su's laugh burst out—raw, jagged, tinged with hysteria.

Exchanging his parents demi-world for a gold and red building is a winner deal for him

Unit, weapon, treasure ،talisman, almost everything in the lord world will be judged by the color that will automatically shine on its body

whit- black - Yellow - Green - blue- red - gold - dark gold - white gold

with white as the weakest and white gold as the strongest,

in old times it was said that there were 12 colors in total but in today market, -dark golden color which is the second strongest in rank is impossible to get this thing's

Even gold color can't be seen in the market now a day's

Colors bulding mean that ge can upgrade the bulding to summon high units

That why white bulding call the single type units

Green and blue is the main rare buildings in the marke this days and even them is hard to get them without billions of gold coins

One must know that to train a slave skeleton you need a slave camp which is a whit color bulding

With only cost 1 gold coin in the market and only cost 10 gold coins for the skeleton slaves

and a Normal human unit which will cost 10 gold coins and its a black bulding that will cost between 100 too 200 depending upon the type of human units

In normal 1v1 fight the human unit will win all the time

So the more coins it needs to train the stronger the unit will be

Thinking of owning a red and gold building at the beginning is something that will only happen to the children of a super-rich family

—————

Gold Reserves: 10

Units: 10

———

Theis numbers seared his vision suddenly.

Long Su sank to his knees, obsidian gravel biting his palms. 'Ten gold coins. Just Ten'.

His mind raced 'could he sells the Dead balck Fields? Sell his parents recourse veins. The school already take control of them and already stripped his parents' Demi-Worlds rescues as school material.'

Even though his world seed area is still at its lowest level, producing only 10 gold coins of protection every day it need along time to improve the daily production of gold coins.

In other words, it can generate one sword and shield unit every ten days

No need to even think about the royal guard units

Thinking about this, Long su suddenly felt like having his slave skeleton was better than waiting lonely

"chirp"

The sound of the bird, followed by a black halo, emanated from the small palace towards the unit building's
