She's Moving On… But Am I?

Saturday Night – A New Beginning?

Hana flinched at the sound of a message notification while lying in bed. When she looked at the screen, she saw that it was from Jaehyun.

Jaehyun: Today was really nice. I hope we can meet again.

Hana hesitated for a moment, then smiled slightly and replied.

Hana: Yes, it was nice for me too. Good night, Jaehyun.

As she turned off her phone, a strange warmth filled her chest. Jaehyun was truly a good person, and spending time with him was enjoyable. Yet, somewhere deep inside, Hyunwoo's gaze still echoed.

Shaking her head at herself, she thought, It's over. Hyunwoo is in the past now.

But did her heart truly believe that?

Hyunwoo's Night

When Hyunwoo noticed Hana texting, the jealousy inside him grew even stronger. He tried to push Aerin's words out of his mind, but the thought of Hana actually moving on with someone else unsettled him.

He tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep.

Eventually, he picked up his phone and typed out a message, but then just stared at the screen without sending it.

Hyunwoo: Hana, can we talk?

Without a second thought, he pressed the delete button.

He no longer had the right to reach out to Hana.

But was he really ready to lose her completely?

Sunday Morning – A New Day, New Feelings

As the sunlight streamed through the window, Hana opened her eyes. When she checked her phone, there was a good morning message from Jaehyun. She smiled softly and replied.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Sera peeked inside.

"Hana, what's the plan for today?"

As Hana got out of bed, she pushed aside the strange confusion inside her.

"Today is going to be a great day," she said confidently.

But… was it really?

Sunday – Messages and Emerging Plans

After returning from the gym, Hyunwoo picked up his phone. For the past few days, he had been texting someone else, trying to distract himself, but he finally realized it was meaningless. He didn't care about that person at all—he was just trying to take his mind off Hana.

Taking a deep breath, he opened his messages and sent one to Eunbi:

Hyunwoo: I was texting someone for a few days, but I completely cut it off last night. I wasn't really interested anyway.

As always, Eunbi replied quickly.

Eunbi: You and your meaningless actions… But at least you ended it without making a mess. Congrats.

Hyunwoo smiled slightly. That was just how Eunbi was—straightforward, direct, and a little sarcastic. Talking to her was always easy because she never dragged things out.

Monday at School – Gossip and New Plans

Before class started, Eunbi was sitting in the cafeteria with Aerin and a few friends. The conversation had shifted to Hyunwoo.

"Oh, by the way," Eunbi said, taking a bite of her sandwich. "Hyunwoo had been texting someone for a few days, but he completely cut it off last night."

Aerin raised an eyebrow. "Wow, so she must have been unimportant."

Eunbi shrugged. "Yeah. He wasn't really serious about it."

Aerin smirked slightly and narrowed her eyes at Eunbi. "But I see… He shares everything with you?"

Eunbi turned her head. "And?"

Leaning on the table, Aerin grinned mischievously. "You two seem pretty close. If you ask me, you're a little too close to Hyunwoo."

Eunbi sighed. "Don't be ridiculous. We've been friends for years. We're just talking."

Aerin nodded but had already gotten an idea. This could be fun. Lowering her voice slightly, she continued:

"Well… If you want, I could help bring you and Hyunwoo a little closer."

Eunbi froze. "What?"

Aerin winked. "Don't you think it's about time something happened between you two?"

Monday – Aerin's Little Plans Begin

Aerin raised an eyebrow, waiting to see Eunbi's reaction. Eunbi, however, simply rolled her eyes. "I don't need things like that," she said in an indifferent tone.

Aerin chuckled lightly. "Yes, yes, of course you don't. But still, it's impossible not to notice how… let's say… special Hyunwoo acts toward you."

Eunbi sighed. "We're just friends."

Aerin smirked and nodded. "Of course." But in her mind, different plans were already taking shape.

Tuesday – Hyunwoo's Escapes

In the middle of a dull afternoon class, Aerin sent Eunbi a message.

Aerin: I'm stealing Hyunwoo from class, be ready.

Eunbi rolled her eyes but secretly found it amusing. Five minutes later, Hyunwoo effortlessly slipped out of class and joined them.

"There's nothing better than an empty class," he yawned, settling into his chair.

Aerin grinned. "For you, 'empty class' now means 'sneaking off to be with Eunbi,' doesn't it?"

Eunbi shot her a glare. "Don't exaggerate."

Hyunwoo smirked slightly but said nothing. His silence only entertained Aerin more.

For the rest of the class, Eunbi and Hyunwoo moved to the back row, and Aerin watched them with amusement. Hyunwoo would occasionally lean in, whispering something to Eunbi, making her chuckle softly.

However, every now and then, Hyunwoo's gaze involuntarily drifted toward Hana. She, on the other hand, seemed unbothered, chatting with Jaehyun. No matter how much Hyunwoo tried to focus on Eunbi, he couldn't stop himself from stealing glances at Hana.

Aerin noticed these looks but chose to stay silent—for now. She was still enjoying the show.

Girls' Gossip Moment

Sera, Eunwoo, and Hana were sitting side by side in the same row. Aerin leaned against the desk in front of them, watching them. Taking advantage of the free period, the girls had switched to gossip mode.

Sera lowered her head slightly and whispered, "Do you see what's happening in the back?"

Hana, absentmindedly playing with her notebook, asked disinterestedly, "What's happening back there?"

Eunwoo turned her head slightly to glance behind. "Hyunwoo and Eunbi are sitting together again. Hyunwoo sneaks out of class almost every free period to come here."

Sera squinted her eyes and smirked. "But that's not the real issue. Hyunwoo may seem interested in Eunbi, but I noticed something else."

Aerin leaned in with curiosity. "What did you notice?"

Sera pursed her lips and shook her head slightly. "Hyunwoo occasionally looks at Hana."

At this, Aerin immediately turned to Hana. "Really? Hana, did you notice this?"

Hana shrugged without the slightest reaction. "No, because I don't care."

Eunwoo giggled softly. "But admit it, it's kind of funny. On one hand, he seems to be flirting with Eunbi, but on the other, his eyes are searching for you."

Sera leaned in slightly, observing Hana closely. "Do you really not notice at all? Come on, at least say something."

Hana rolled her eyes. "What do you want me to say? I don't care. What he does is none of my business."

Aerin raised her eyebrows with a sly smile. "Are you sure you don't care?"

Instead of responding, Hana opened her notebook and started scribbling something. But Aerin and Sera weren't entirely convinced that there was truly nothing behind her indifferent attitude.

And in the back, Hyunwoo unconsciously stole another glance at Hana.
