Usagi's breath was shaky as she tried to push him away. Her fingers clutched his shirt collar tightly, her other hand pressed against his lips, stopping him from coming any closer.
She was trembling.
"P-Please stop it..." Her voice was barely above a whisper. "D-Don't forget the conditions I put on you!"
Okami paused. For a moment, his smirk faded, replaced by something unreadable in his dark eyes. He didn't move, just stared at her—at her quivering lips, the way her small hand trembled against his face.
Then, slowly, he exhaled. Warm air brushed against her palm, making her shiver.
"Conditions?" His voice was low, teasing. His hand moved, wrapping around her wrist—not forcefully, just enough to remind her how easily he could pull her hand away.
"You mean those cute little rules you think will keep you safe?"
Usagi swallowed hard. Her grip on his collar tightened.
"Y-Yes… You p-promised…"
Okami was silent for a moment. His eyes studied her carefully, as if he was memorizing every little reaction. Then, finally, he chuckled—deep and knowing.
He leaned in slightly, letting his lips barely brush against the inside of her palm before pulling back.
"Alright, bunny," he murmured. "I'll play by your rules… for now."
Usagi let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. As soon as he stepped back, she turned away quickly, putting some much-needed space between them.
But behind her, Okami's smirk returned.
She thought she had won.
But bunnies should never turn their backs on wolves.
And he knew… she wouldn't be able to resist forever.
