Authority Over the Shelter

Cris slowly opened his eyes. His body felt heavy, his muscles sore from the battle.

Above him, Trixie hovered, her glowing form flickering softly.

"Master, are you alright now?" she asked.

Cris groaned, sitting up. "Ugh... I feel like I got hit by a truck."

His gaze shifted to the huge Zeezo corpse lying nearby. Its grotesque form looked even worse in the dim lighting.

He exhaled deeply. "Well… at least that thing's dead."

Cris stood up and dusted himself off. "Alright, Trixie, let's finish this. We need to fix the maintenance system."

Trixie nodded. "Yes, Master. This way."

There now in the door of the maintenance system, Trixie open the door and as They approached the core room, the air thick with an ancient energy.

Before them stood a massive glowing core, its surface cracked and flickering weakly.

Cris studied it. "So this is the heart of the shelter's system, huh?"

Trixie floated forward. "To repair this, I must fuse with the core."

Cris raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what? Are you gonna be okay?"

Trixie giggled. "Don't worry, Master. This is what I was made for."

With that, she merged into the core, her form dissolving into pure energy.

A brilliant light exploded outward, illuminating the entire room.

Cris shielded his eyes. The shelter trembled as the core whirred to life, its cracks sealing and its glow stabilizing.

Then, a notification flashed before his eyes:

[Shelter System Restored!]

- Reward: Key to the Training Ground

- Bonus Reward: Shelter Master System Unlocked

A new interface appeared before him:

[Shelter Master System]

Correct Shelter Population: 1

Cris blinked in surprise. "Wait… full control? I can upgrade this entire place?"

Just then, Trixie reappeared, her form glowing even brighter.

"Master, we now have full authority over the shelter!" she announced excitedly.

Cris smirked. "Heh… looks like it's time to turn this ruin into something great."
