I love... Me?
Jay-jay's POV I'm afraid of many things. There are so many I can't even count them. But I'm able to face them. It feels like I'm facing the one I fear now.
Brother Angelo... "Yuri said he brought you here at 5:38pm." He said while crossing his arms. "Is that 5:38pm?
It's like 6 something." I said, seemingly dead angry at what he wanted to convey. He raised one eyebrow while looking at me. I was the one who avoided it. I didn't have to share a glance with him. I got home at 12am,
we had been acting out for a while. We cried, talked and...you know----did something.... talked again. I thought they would be asleep when I got home. It turned out that Kuya Angelo was waiting for me. I couldn't make up an excuse because he had already called Yuri.
"Where are you from?" He asked calmly. Signal #1! "W-Just there..." I replied. "Where is 'just there?!" The tone of his voice had risen. Signal #2! Where is 'just there'?
I don't know of any place that is open at this hour. Except for the mini mart I shop at. "At the Mini Mart." Kuya took a deep breath and caught his breath. "Aries is from there... Why didn't you guys meet?!" Signal #3! Dead! That person goes to the Mini Mart? And he's only just now thinking about it. Wow! "I hid from her." I quickly replied.
Wow! Your excuse is good Jay. Kuya immediately looked at me with a frown. I knew he caught me lying.
But what the hell, he might get away with it. "Is it hard to tell where you're from?!" He asked angrily. Signal #4! That's the deluge! This is me. "...Look at the time?! Is that sensible woman home?!" I just bowed my head while he scolded me.
I knew that but it was really the King of the Snakes' fault. I wish I could have told him that. But of course....no. It might be the end of me if he found out what happened earlier. "Angelo..." Someone called.
We both turned around at the same time. Aunt Gema was walking towards us. "...It's already night. You'll be punished tomorrow. I still have school." She ordered. "Sooner or later, Ma. We just need to ï¬gure this out."
Kuya said while looking at me with a frown. "Tomorrow already..." Aunt insisted. He looked at me and motioned for me to come closer to him. "...Let's go. That's your brother." I immediately went closer to Tita.
I didn't look at Kuya because I knew his gaze would just make me melt. Tita led me to the front of my room. "Go to sleep... We'll talk tomorrow." She told me and walked away. I slowly opened the door to the room, I knew Ci- N was already asleep. I wasn't wrong because she was snoring so loudly. As I entered, my phone suddenly rang.
King Ulopong Calling... I answered it as I closed the door. "Hello..." ["Are you scolding me?"] "Hmmm... Yes, but we'll talk tomorrow." ["Are we going to tell him?"] I looked at my cellphone in surprise before putting it to my ear again.
"Which one are you going to tell?" ["That you're pregnant, and we'll both be the ones to choke."] She said and suddenly laughed on the other line. He really hit me hard in the brain! "Get well soon!" I shouted.
I immediately covered my mouth. I forgot that Ci-N was already asleep. "...it's like a mess. Go to sleep now." ["I can't sleep yet. I have many things to do."] "What's that?" ["Secret... I have to go. Don't have a wet dream about me."] Stop it! This shameless idiot is really stupid! "You're so fat!" I shouted again. I didn't care if Ci-N woke up.
This guy was really making me laugh! He just laughed loudly in response. It felt like it was wrong for me to admit to him. ["Okay... Good night my life. I love you to inï¬nity and beyond."] I suddenly stiffened because of what he said. I just bit my lower lip. Am I excited?! I'm laughing! "Good night too and I love...." I stopped when I saw Ci with her eyes wide open and looking at me. "...Me." I immediately hung up the call without waiting for Hari to say anything. I put the phone down on the bed and maliciously went straight to my cabinet to get a pack. "Okay, go ahead and pick me up." Ci-N said to me. "A-are you awake?" "Oh no... I'm sleeping. I sleep with my eyes wide open." She was being philosophical. I just looked at her evilly. This fool! She even managed to be philosophical. "Who is that?" She asked. I immediately looked at the four corners of the room and acted like I was looking for someone. "Which one? Where? Are you seeing someone?" I said while continuing to search. I knew who she was referring to. Just in case she managed to sneak in. I didn't want to say it and I knew that before the night was over, the whole town would know. "Keep going... I'll spread the word that you have a boyfriend." She threatened. He's not my boyfriend! "When you're gone..." I said arrogantly. "Who is that?" He growled. "Nothing... It's just nothing." Suddenly he stood up and was about to grab my phone from the bed. I immediately ran and almost tripped before he could get ahead of me. "Why don't you show me?!" He said annoyed. "Why?! Go to sleep!" I shouted. "Tell me----" "IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SLEEP, GO TO SLEEP!" Someone shouted. It was probably Aries, because his room was the closest to mine. We were forced to signal to this Ci-N. Keifer's POV I love me? Is it hard for her to say 'I love You' and that's what she said? Anyways, it doesn't matter. I heard her saying it once and there's no denying it. She's officially mine. But that's not what I'm worried about. Other important things. "Where is Keiren?!" I ask everybody. All the lights in the house are on. Our maids and butlers are still awake. I knew something bad had happened. "Brother..." Keigan called me. Keiren hid behind him. He suddenly run toward me and hug me tightly. He was crying. "It's okay... Brother is here." I said hugging him back. "Where did you go? You know Dad has gone home but you still chose to leave the house." Keigan said. I didn't answer him. I look at everybody, they look exhausted. "Everybody can go to sleep now. Thank you so much for protecting my brother." I said to them.
They all bowed at me and walked away. One of the butlers stopped in front of me. "We've also added security for your brother." He said. I smile and nod to him. I let them all leave. The three of us were left . Keigan looking furious at me. "What happened?" I ask calmly. "Dad went here! He's taking Keiren! It's a good thing there are a lot of us here!" He said. I looked at Keiren who continued to cry. "I don't want to go with him." I shook my head.
"No... He can't take you. As long as your brother Keigan and I are here." I carry him and walk upstairs. Keigan followed us. Damn it! I didn't know they would be back so soon. I would have added security if I had known.
We are both minors in this house. The law still says that a child must be in the custody of a parent or relative. Keiren really took priority because he was the youngest of the three of us. But I wouldn't let him. I went straight to Keiren's room and laid him on his bed. He had fallen asleep in my arms.
When Keigan left the room, I immediately confronted him. "Did he say anything?" I ask. "Nothing. What are your plans now?" "I'm almost 18... I almost have your and Keiren's legal rights." I said and walked. Keigan followed me immediately. "So, let's just wait for your birthday? Is that right? Brother! Maybe they'll have Keiren when that day comes!" He said angrily. Stop walking and look at him straight in the eye. "No... It will never happen." I answered him seriously. "I hope you do what you say." I understood Keigan. Who in the world would allow his brother to end up in bad hands. I quickly walked to the office next to my room. I took all the papers I needed.
Including a copy of Mom's last will and testament. I need to study everything written here and the corresponding laws . I need to ï¬ght back legally. Keiren can't go to him. Then what? Will they do what they did to Keigan?
And yet until now, I still don't know what they did to her. I also get my phone and call my lawyer. "Good evening Mr. Ryder, sorry for disturbing you. I just need to talk to you about something.... About my legal rights."
I'll surely become busy for this week. I'll lose time at school and in many things. I just hope that nothing bad happens while I'm gone. There's nothing yet but I'm already thinking about Jay-jay. I just hope that the whole section will be well-guarded. Her words keep running in my mind. I can't help but smile. I love me...😍😍😍
