Is Angelo cool?


Her concern


Jay-jay's POV


I've been eating alone in the Dining for a few days now. Morning and night, it's
just me and my partner. I didn't catch up with Aunt Gema and Brother Angelo
at home. Even Mama, who had just arrived, I didn't
see her.
All I saw was her suitcase.
Even my illness didn't reach them. Luckily,
I wasn't confined that day. Thanks to Yuri who took care of
everything.
I had just finished taking a shower and was getting ready when I heard
my phone ring. There were only two people I could think of to text me.
Yuri or GagongBaliw.
I picked up my phone. The second person I expected texted
me.
To: GagongBaliw
Message: Good morning! Take care of yourself. I
guess reading his text has become my daily routine. I no longer
orbid him from texting me. It's like he's become a part of
my cellphone.
Like I always do, I didn't replay him. I continued
to tidy up and quickly left my room.
Auntie's maids were cleaning the house.
"I'm leaving." I said goodbye to them.
"Be careful." They replied.
When I came out of the gate, I wasn't surprised to see Yuri waiting for me. He
was leaning against his car while holding his cellphone.
I approached him and he immediately noticed me. He smiled at me
and opened the passenger seat door.
"Good morning." He greeted me.
"There's nothing good in the morning." I was just joking.
He just laughed at me before closing the door. I can't say that
we're okay with this idiot but I gave him a chance like Ci-N. After all,
they're the two of them who are really persistent in wooing me.
He also explained properly that he realized his mistake.
He could save me from Keifer's plan because of the wedding but
he could tie me up in another problem.
He also said that he had always wanted to cancel the wedding because of what
he saw in me but he couldn't do it right away. I tried to ask him what
his family said when the wedding was called off but he didn't answer me.
I feel like the result wasn't good for him.
"Are you going to do anything later?" he asked.
"It depends." I answered quickly.
He looked at me for a moment in surprise. "What about it?"
"It depends if you invite me to eat, I won't do anything. But if it's
just a joke, I'll do something. There's a lot more."
I heard his soft laugh. He thought I was joking.
I was serious, I can free up my time if it's about food but if
not, I have a lot to do.
"I'll invite you to a Japanese Restaurant." He said.
"That's it! I won't do anything, I'm available." I answered quickly.
He laughed again. We arrived at the school and I waited for him
to park before getting out of the car. It seemed like a normal day at
school today.
The talk about Aries and Mykel quickly subsided. Even
Kuya's arrival and threatening our Guidance Counselor wasn't
discussed.
I guess they were scared of Kuya.
The Demolition Notice is still there next to our building.
There's no date on when it will start.
I just kept walking towards the room.
Yuri followed me and entering the room it felt like something was wrong.
Something was really wrong!
A few pairs of Tables and Chairs were missing. There used to be too many so
it was easy to move seats but now, there was enough for all of us.
There were 16 of them and if I were included, there would be 17. The only empty seats were
Hari's seat in the back and my old seat in the middle where
David and Ci-N were next to me.
"Why... Like this." I whispered to myself.
"Good morning Jay!" Ci-N greeted me happily as she ran
towards me.
"What happened? Why are there so few tables?"
I asked her while pointing at the tables.
"Not too few. Just right." She clarified and
I raised one eyebrow. "...Because there used to be too many so now there
's just right."
Wew...
Because of the arrangement of the chairs. I had no choice but to return to my seat in the
middle. Ci-N happily pulled me up and helped me sit down.
I almost smiled when I saw the chair. The scrap
of my skirt was sticking to it. This was the bench where my skirt used to stick.
I just chose to ignore it. I also arranged my things.
I even looked at David when I noticed that he was looking at me.
Gago smiled dog-like.
"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked irritated.
"I miss having you as my seatmate." He said.
I raised an eyebrow at him. Miss? Well, he always slept when
we were next to each other. He only woke up when he smelled food.
Should I poke him?
When I looked over, Ci-N was staring at me.
Batang Kumag smiled happily.
"I miss this." He said while raising his eyebrows.
Some hadn't taken their medicine.
I just winced. When I looked around, they were all
smiling at me too. I frowned at them.
What did they think I was okay with and what they did to me? Yes,
I gave Yuri and Ci-N a chance but that doesn't mean they are too.
Your faces are so hard!
Sir Alvin arrived so they were forced to face him. Even Sir
was surprised by the arrangement of the tables but he chose to ignore it
.
While class was in session, something small was hitting my head.
I looked at it but it was nothing. It continued until the next subject.
I looked at it and saw a small piece of paper that was rolled up.
I rolled my eyes but the cheaters were so malicious.
Why do I feel like this has happened? Dé javu?
As the class went on, the small pieces of paper that were hitting me increased
. I was starting to get annoyed by what they were doing.
What trip are these guys on?
Lunch time has arrived. The bell outside rang as soon as I dropped it
. Ci-N quickly grabbed my hand before I could stand up.
"You'll eat here." He said happily.
Before I could protest, he forced me closer to Eman who
was currently preparing lunch.
"N-no way." I said and they looked at me. "...Someone is waiting
or me."
"He won't come." Felix said while smiling. "...I texted
Kuya and said you'll join us here."
I felt embarrassed by what he said. I won't eat here. But I did that
as if I was saying that they won and I lost. I still haven't
orgiven them.
I violently left the line and sat down in my seat. Irritated!
My stomach was rumbling but I'll bear it, for the sake of pride.
Pride, Surf and Tide. Sometimes Bonux and Ariel.
"Let's go Jay. Let's eat." Drew said to me.
I made it difficult for him. "Don't talk to me, we're not close."
He just patted my back as he walked away from me. You idiot!
You haven't even paid what you owe me. This is an animal! We've reached
Part Two and everything.
Not long after, someone put food in front of me.
Our dish was stew---what animal can be stewed---so it automatically had
corn.
It was like one of Author's jokes. Corn! I looked at who the traitor had put in front of me.
Yuri smiled while looking at me.
"Eat." He said but I immediately shook my head. "...Why?"
"If I eat that, I lose." I said quickly and he sighed
.
I looked at the door when I saw Josh carrying a plate
ull of food. I knew it wasn't for him. It was for
his pet cat that Ci-N named Edy because he said EvereaDY.
An idea came to my mind. I quickly stood up and took the
plate. I went out without looking at the Cobras even though
they called my name.
I saw Josh on the side of our building where it was crowded.
He was sitting on a large root while feeding the black cat.
"Do you need anything?" Josh asked without looking at me.
It felt strong! You're so creepy!
"Give it to Edy." I said while handing him the plate.
He stood up without looking back at me. "It's nice to sit here
because no one will see you much." He turned around and smiled at
me. "...if you want to feed him, you do it."
He walked back to the room but before he could pass me
he said something.
"Enjoy feeding Edy." He said it as if it had another meaning.
He left completely and left me alone. I couldn't get his trip
and it was like an evil spirit was joining him again.
Maybe he was affected?!
I faced Edy who was currently eating. I was about to put the plate down
in front of him when my stomach suddenly rumbled. The sound was so ugly
it seemed like he was screaming 'Food! Food! Food!'.
I looked closely at the food I was holding. Because if I ate this,
I would lose. I was giving up on the pride-raising contest. But if
I don't eat, my stomach will hurt and my breath will stink.
The little cat might complain.
I looked around. Josh was right, no one would see me here.
I looked around again before thinking of approaching the bench not far away.
I sat down and took a bite of rice and dal.
One bite, but I couldn't taste anything. Another bite, but it seemed greasy.
Another bite, and I could taste it a little. I chewed a little and...another bite.
I looked down at my feet when I saw Edy looking at me.
He even meowed as if asking for what I brought.
"I wish I could give it to you, but I'm hungry. Maybe I'll eat you,
go ahead." I told him.
He just licked his foot and wiped his face. I went back to
my food. That Creepy Boooy was right. No one would see
me eating here.
That way, I wouldn't lose in their eyes. I'll just say
that I gave Edy the foooood. That's why he told me that
before he left.
Enjoy feeding Edy. Maybe enjoy feeding myself.
As I was finishing eating, someone suddenly touched my shoulder. I stood up
in shock while I was munching on the corn in my mouth. I almost
threw the plate I was holding.
Mica also looked at me in surprise----it was he who had touched
my shoulder.
"S-sorry." She said.
I took a bite of the corn before taking it out of my mouth. "It's okay. Why
are you here?"
She forced a smile. "I'm just visiting you."
I'm not sick. What trip was she on that made her think of visiting me?
It's like we haven't seen each other for a few days. She should have gone to Calix
.
I noticed that her eyes were sad. It looked like she had
a problem and was looking for someone to talk to.
"Sit down. I'm surprised you, I'm still eating." I said.
She sat down on the bench and so did I. I finished
my meal before we could talk.
"Here." He said as he handed me a pouch with alcohol, tissue
, and sanitizer.
I accepted it and started cleaning myself.
"Why are you visiting me?" I asked while wiping my
ace with the tissue.
He didn't answer so I looked at him. I stopped as
my eyes widened slightly when I saw him crying.
He wiped it and tried to look away but it was too late.
"Did something happen?" I asked worriedly.
"Calix and I are going to break up." He kept saying it and
the tears he was holding back finally fell.
I was panicked so I immediately took the tissue from the pouch
he handed me. I gave it to him and he accepted it.
"W-why? W-what happened?"
He didn't answer anymore. He just continued to sob. It was as if
he was carrying it in his chest in so much pain and only now did he get the
chance to let it out. I was even more panicked.
Maybe the old man did something stupid!
"Is Calix a womanizer again? What? Back to being
a playboy? What did he do? Did he say something? W-what's the reason?"
I asked one after another.
He forced himself to calm down and wiped the tears from his cheeks.
He took a few deep breaths.
"I know what they did to you..." I was stunned. "...
I got angry with him and we fought. He said I didn't understand
so I didn't get involved. I chose not to talk for now..." He bit
his lower lip. "...but I can't just watch while
you're struggling."
"Is that the reason why you guys aren't talking?"
It was Ci-N's birthday when I noticed they weren't talking and
Rakki confirmed it.
He nodded. "I don't know why he had to get involved
. He wasn't embarrassed anymore, you helped us get back together and then
he did this."
I bowed my head. Mica was right after all. I'm angry with them for
what they did to me but I didn't want them to suffer like
the pain I felt.
I said, Revenge is for the weak.
I don't want to involve Mica. I don't want to hurt her either.
I sighed.
"But didn't you think that if you break up, you'll waste
the effort I put in to get you back together?
Everything will end up in nothing and you'll end up hurting yourselves again."
I explained and she looked at me.
I knew she understood what I meant. I also knew that
she was just worried about me but what happened and the pain I felt
was only mine.
I'm a bad person so the pain is only mine.
"B-but Jay----."
I immediately cut her off. "Calix is right, you shouldn't
get involved. That problem is only between them and me. If someone should
do something about it, it should be them, not you." She bowed her head and placed her hands on her knees.

gradually closed . "Don't let your relationship go like that just because of a simple problem." I said patting his
shoulder. I stood up and handed him the pouch. He took it and stood up too. "Thanks for worrying." I added
while smiling. He smiled slightly and put the pouch back in his bag. We walked back to the room. Right at the
door, I stopped him. He was surprised at first but he did it anyway. I entered the room and looked for Calix. He
was sitting while listening to what Eren and Denzel were talking about. "Calix!" I called and almost everyone
turned to me. Are you all Calix? He stood up and was obviously waiting for me to say something. I motioned
or him to look outside. He did just that. It was already four o'clock when he ran towards Mica. I didn't even
look at their scene outside. I went to the chair but I stopped. There was only a few chutchirya on my table.
Nova, Chippy and Piattos. I looked at the Cobras but they avoided each other. It was almost like they were
dead angry at what happened. I looked at Ci-N who was playing with his cellphone. "Ci, is this yours?" I asked
and he quickly shook his head. "...Whose is this?" He snorted. "Yours." I raised one eyebrow. It was really hard
to talk to him when he was in front of his cellphone. He was busy playing with it. I turned to David but he was
asleep. Is this guy always short of sleep?! I slapped his forehead hard. He opened his eyes and looked at me
in surprise. "Why are you smacking?" He asked irritated. "Oh, it can't be me..." I approached him and
whispered. "...it's Ci- N." He stood up and quickly approached Ci-N. He slapped it hard on the forehead. The
little boy dropped his cellphone and looked at David with tears in his eyes. "It hurts! What are you doing to
me?!" He asked irritated. "You're bothering me. I'm sleeping." David said boredly and went back to his place.
Before he could go back to sleep, I spoke up. "Did you put this up?" I asked. He stared at me for a moment
before answering. "No. And I don't know either." The people next to me were talking intently. It was
embarrassing.... The head went back to sleep. I just scratched the back of my head while sitting. I just hid the
chutchirya in my bag. Whoever of these Ulopongs gave it to him. His money would just run out for nothing.
But honestly, this seems familiar to me. It feels like it's happened before but in a different situation. Weird.
