Orion's Party

Bechnitz is a realm filled with heroes and villains. On the surface at least, the war that led to the death of Travis, Clementine and Vincent was a civil one. From 2 sides of the same faction of "Heroes" with very distinct beliefs. With one side believing in the "No Killing Rule" and the other opting for a more permanent solution for taking care of villains.

The civil war that would soon be known as the "War of Peace" a war that would last for a total of three years. In which, heroes fought each other but first blood would arrive when the Villains began to intervene. This all out war would lead to the death of many, including multiple heroes and villains, the catalyst for its end would be the sacrifice of Travis. Taking a doomsday device with him to space, the young hero would die with pride as he saved his world.

Travis, Vincent and Clementine are all from the faction of heroes but with differing beliefs. Clementine used her healing abilities on all that needed them. She believes in reform and was on the side of saving people regardless of how unredeemable they may be. She was on the more idealistic side during the War of Peace. Travis is the complete opposite, he believes that those corrupted by power should be exterminated. He has seen those who have only pretended to change and he regrets ever being so weak as to let them continue living after what they've done. Whereas Vincent only cared about saving people, using his speed to neutralize people with little to no harm done on them. Vincent was neutral during the entirety of the war.

"Are we there yet?" The speedster, Vincent questioned as their group moved through the dense forest.

"Less whining and more moving. You can scout ahead if you'd like. We need to meet those that came before us, they should notice your speed as an anomaly." Orion, the current leader of the group sighed out.

"Ugh… Finally!" Vincent disappeared from sight. With the only trace of his presence being the gust of wind that he left behind.

"I know that you sensed something from this direction, but I think that I should just fly us all away from this forest." Travis, the current strongest member of the party, looked down towards the four-armed Orion. He didn't walk, he floated above the ground without touching it. "Faster, more efficient."

"While that may be true, it's smarter to move slower seeing as we are unaware of the threats nearby." Orion's eye twitched, this was the fifth time in one day that they questioned him. "Aris, give me the report on what's nearby."

"I found a river that's leading to a waterfall, opposite of where we're headed. From what I can tell, if we keep going north we'll eventually reach a clearing… Water, maybe the ocean or some kind of lake." Aris was busy looking over some sort of tablet with multiple screens. His spider-like prosthetics moved him steadily as he walked with the group. "My signals are getting choppy, so I'll call back the ones near the waterfall."

Orion took note of the information. Nine out of the original twelve, the Earthlings, Maja and Antonyo. All three of the Bechnitz locals, one from Verund and Orion's trio from Terra. Nine members, with multiple powerhouses, Like the Archmage Vanitha and the three super-powered individuals from Bechnitz.

Orion knew of the potential of his group, yet here he was already regretting taking the spot of leader. Travis and Vincent were powerful, but they preferred to do things their own way. Antonyo is with the group but his summons from his gambling based system were loyal and only listened to him. The Archmage has no care for the group and is only following around Maja. Needless to say even with those that do listen to him, managing all these personalities will be a tough task.

"I'm back." Vincent returned with a smile on his face. "Big ocean. About 2 days away if you're walking it, I ran across the water and found a few islands. There's grey-skinned monsters on one island and I think demons with those horns and pointy ears on another. The water seems dangerous too, there's a few large serpents and a giant octopus."

"Were there any threats on the way to the ocean?" Orion asked, while he cracked his neck.

"Talking trees? Treants… trees with faces." Vincent yawned. "I already cleared about a dozen of them, we can clean them up quickly, I wouldn't even consider them threats."

Antonyo's summons, the random monsters that came from his system could be stored in his unit list or let out into the world as needed. These summons along with the drones that Aris manned, were the main scouts and guards during their first night. Their group of 9 has a lot of versatility. Sleep was necessary for all of them and Antonyo already agreed to having this role.

The guards he summoned that evening were an assortment of soldiers and creatures each with a different ability. A total of 5 from his current pool of 40 summoned creatures. A well-armored knight, a soldier armed with an assault rifle, a spellcaster along with a dog-headed monster and a creature made out of shadows.

"Remember your mission, be discreet." He whispered.

The old man handed a piece of paper to the shadow creature.

[Noctis, Shadewalker] 4-Star

A creature of the shadows, famed for their skills in stealth and assassination. This particular summon is powerful enough to challenge a Mid-grade demon and is a threat in deeper parts of a dungeon.

'I just hope that the young man can receive this message.' The old man whistled while he cooked up a stew on a campfire. "If anyone's willing to try, I have all the ingredients for a dish from my motherland!"

"Oooh! OOh is it that soup again?" Aris was excited for the meal.

"Indeed, Sinigang."
