Ch 10

"Oi oi oi, you the twat that's begging for Komi-sama's attention?"

When Komi heard the sentence that came out from the delinquent behind her back she immediately trembled in fear.

Then she realized on who is the subject of the hostility. Her heart raced.

She turned her head slightly towards Tadano and realized that he is the subject of the hostility.

Her heart raced and gazed at her first friend worriedly and wondered what seems to be the reason for them to antagonize him. 

On Komi's perspective, Tadano is shaking the thought that he must've been really scared, seeing how he is furiously trembling and looking down on his seat.

When she thought about him and what stuff he did, there is nothing that he did wrong other than defend himself.

She can only bite her lips subtly and remain cowering in fear.

But she did not expect the next words that came out of Tadano totally shocked her.

"Let's take this to the restroom shall we?"

(Something's off, isn't the one who is supposed to say that line the delinquents?)

A puzzled look appeared on Komi's face but, one thing is for sure with her lots of experience on watching movies, this must be THAT plot, where they will beat their victim in the restroom and extort them out of money.

As Komi imagined the cruel scene that'll most likely happen to her friend she tried to stand up but....alas as if her joints are locked, she can't move.

She can only sulk down in sadness and watch as the back of her dear first friend that's on his way to hid imminent doom is slowly leaving.

The best she can do right now is only pray that he comes back safely ann after he return she will definitely grovel and ask for forgiveness.

Komi soon regained her composure then she clenched her fist and nodded at herself.

When the class saw her act, they thought she is finally glad that someone is now ripping the creepy stalker away from her.

But....What she didn't know is that, the role.

Really reversed.

Tadano is currently eating the limited stock red bean paste that he bought using his "own" money that he "got" earlier

He noticed that he is spaced out in the cafeteria and when he looked around he saw some group of students that is murmuring while glancing at him.

"Huh, it spreaded that fast? some guys that wanna use the restroom must have overheard spread it or....the delinquents did...whatever"

Tadano just shrug his shoulders off at the judgmental glances and resumed back on eating his bread with gusto and then went back to his class.

Soon he reached his class and with a hand on his pocket he brazenly opened the door and strutted inside with no care. 

As the door opened Komi immediately stood up and with a wide serious stare, anxiously checking every nook and cranny of Tadano's body trying to look for any signs of discomfort and any type of injury, if ever she spotted one, she won't forgive herself she thought.

Tadano who saw this held off his mischevious grin and an idea pops up to his mind.

(Well, she is a bit of an airhead it should be easy...yep, let's tease her muehehehehe) Tadano evily thought.

He slumped down a bit and he walked on his seat acting injuredlike holding his stomach and such and he also started to drag his left feet like its limp and walked like a cripple.

"Ow ow It hurts...they even took my money *Sniff*"

When Komi saw Tadano's state, tears suddenly welled up on her eyes and she trembled.

Her mind is so occupied by checking what is his current status coupled with her nervousness that she fell for the shittiest act of all time.

Tadano who saw the tears that's threatening to fall he immediately stopped.

"HAHAHAHA! Jeez Komi-san I'm just kidding, you know? Calm down, why are you crying, are you really that worried for me?"

" ( •̯́ ^ •̯̀ ) "

Komi sniffled and a singular tear fell down on her left cheek and as if driven by instinct, Tadano's hand moved and it reach for Komi's cheeks and wiped her tears away gently.

Their mind is occupied with both of each other that they didn't care for what's happening, and Komi who heard his words just nodded. 

When she saw Tadano and inspected him earlier albeit there is nothing wrong with him, she is still extremely worried and at the same time really glad that he came back safe and sound.

Earlier when she thought of her friend sustaining injury it hurt her heart and that is just a thought but when she saw Tadano limped earlier, she couldn't help but burst into tears.

Her mind is plagued with loads of bad thoughts and bad possible scenarios even if she comforted herself to doing a dogeza and apologize later.

"Don't worry about me Komi-san I have a quest to fulfill for you, remember? so....dont cry anymore okay?"

Tadano smiled and reassured Komi while his hands is still on her cheeks. 

She nodded again and smiled really subtly, Tadano who saw her smile felt lucky that he has a super vision so this

is basically his own exclusive scene.

After that Tadano removed his hand and they both sat together then he pulled an extra red bean paste bread from his pocket that he purchased and gave it to Komi.

When she took a bite Komi's eyes shone bright at how delicious it is.

The whole class saw their whole act but they can only grit their teeth and that is because they are feeling a mixture of both fear and hatred, first is fear of Tadano because the delinquents didn't come back but he came back UNSCATHED they couldn't believe it.

(The Delinquents are probably dead huh...) said by a guy in glasses donning a neutral expression.

(Oh divine emissary, I beg thee please save us from this vile mons- no. DEMON KING!) said with great trepidation by a girl wearing an eyepatch and a arm wrapped in bandage.

(It's fine! Why? I am here!) said by a fodder that instantly apppeared.

Now that they probably predicted what happened to the Delinquents they don't wanna risk bothering the devil lest they anger it so they can only glare in silence. 

As for the hatred, well it's how Tadano casually wiped their Godess's cheeks, they thought it should have been them not him.

They are scalding on jealousy!
