Sonia's face turned purple with rage, and she took a step closer to me. "You're going to regret messing with me," she snarled.
I stood my ground, my eyes locked on hers. "I'm shaking in my boots," I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
Sonia's eyes flashed with anger, and she raised her hand as if to slap me. But then, she seemed to think better of it, and her hand dropped to her side.
"This isn't over," she spat, before turning and storming off.
I watched her go, a smile still playing on my lips. Olivia, who had been watching the exchange in silence, turned to me and raised an eyebrow.
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
I grinned. "Maybe just a little."
Olivia shook her head, chuckling. "You're something else, Luna," she said, unlocking her car.
I slid into the passenger seat, still grinning. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here," I said, buckling my seatbelt.
Olivia laughed and started the car. "I think you've already accomplished that," she said, pulling out of the parking lot.
As we drove away from the school, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Sonia had met her match, and I was just getting started.
We drove in silence for a few minutes, the only sound being the hum of the engine and the music playing softly in the background.
Finally, Olivia spoke up, Olivia's expression turned serious. "I don't get why Sonia's so obsessed with Xavier."
I rolled my eyes on what Olivia said about Sonia and her boyfriend.
Finally Olivia stopped in front of my house,

I walked inside, greeted by the familiar faces of my grandma, mom, and little brother Max.
"How was school shuga mom asked
"It was fine," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant despite the lingering thoughts of Olivia's gossip still swirling in my head.
My mom raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing slightly as she studied my expression. "Just fine?" she pressed, her tone gentle but probing.
I shrugged, feeling a slight flush rise to my cheeks. "Yeah, just the usual stuff," I said, trying to brush off her concern.
My grandma, who had been quietly observing our exchange, spoke up, her voice warm and soothing. "Come, dear, sit down and tell us about your day. We're all ears."
I smiled, feeling a sense of comfort wash over me as I took a seat at the table beside my little brother Max, who was busy chomping on a carrot stick.
As we sat down to eat, my mom asked again, "So, Luna, what happened at school today?" She passed me a plate of steaming hot rice and chicken, and I took a bite, savoring the flavors before responding.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about my mom's gentle prodding put me at ease. "Olivia was talking about Sonia and her boyfriend," I said, trying to sound casual.
My grandma's eyebrows shot up. "Oh? What about them?"
I took another bite of my food, choosing my words carefully. "Just that they're having some problems, I guess."
My mom's expression turned thoughtful. "I see. Well, relationships can be tough, especially at your age."
Max, who had been quietly listening to our conversation, suddenly piped up. "I don't want a girlfriend! Girls are yucky!"
We all burst out laughing, and the tension was broken. But as we continued eating and chatting, I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to Olivia's story than she had let on.
A sly smile spread across my face as I recalled the memory. "Remembering how I gave it hot to Sonia," I thought to myself, a hint of mischief dancing in my eyes.
My mind began to wander, replaying the details of that encounter with Sonia. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing that I had left a lasting impression on her.
Just as I was getting lost in the memory, my mom's voice snapped me back to reality. "Luna, are you okay? You seem a bit distracted."
I quickly shook off the reverie, attempting to compose myself. "Yeah, I'm fine, Mom. Just tired, that's all."
My grandma looked at me with a knowing glint in her eye, but she didn't press the issue. Instead, she changed the subject, asking Max about his day at school.
As the conversation flowed, I found myself drifting back to thoughts of Sonia, wondering what she was up to and whether our paths would cross again soon.
I pushed my chair back from the table, announcing, "I'm going to go do my homework now." My mom nodded, and my grandma called out, "Don't forget to study for your test tomorrow, dear!"
I trudged upstairs, my feet heavy on the steps. As I reached my room, I closed the door behind me and let out a deep sigh. I flopped down onto my bed, staring up at the ceiling.
My mind began to wander again, thoughts of Sonia and Olivia's gossip swirling together. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story, that Olivia had been holding something back.
I rolled over onto my side, reaching for my phone on the nightstand. I tossed my phone aside, letting out a soft sigh. No calls, no texts. I shifted my thoughts, trying to focus on my homework instead. I pulled out my books and began to study, but my mind kept drifting back to Sonia and Olivia's gossip.
I closed my books, deciding to call it a night. I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I changed into comfortable pajamas and climbed into bed. I snuggled under the blankets, feeling the softness envelop me. As I drifted off to sleep, my mind still lingered on thoughts of Sonia and the mysterious gossip Olivia had shared.
