HER MAGICAL VOICE

As they finished their lunch, the school bell rang, signaling the start of the next period. Luna and Olivia quickly gathered their things and headed to their music class.

They walked into the music room, where their teacher, Mrs. Johnson, was already seated at the piano. The room was filled with the sound of chatter and the occasional strumming of a guitar.

Luna and Olivia took their seats, and Mrs. Johnson began the lesson, reviewing the notes and rhythm of the song they were currently learning.

As the class progressed, Luna found herself getting lost in the music, her worries and concerns melting away with each note. She loved music class, and she always felt a sense of peace and calm when she was singing or playing an instrument.

As the class continued, Mrs. Johnson handed out sheet music for a new song they would be learning. Luna's eyes scanned the notes and lyrics, her mind already starting to interpret the melody.

Olivia leaned over and whispered, "I love this song! I've heard it before on the radio."

Luna smiled and nodded, her excitement growing. She loved learning new songs, especially ones that she already knew and loved.

Mrs. Johnson raised her hands, and the class fell silent. "Okay, let's start with the chorus. Follow me, and remember to breathe!"

The class began to sing, their voices blending together in harmony. Luna closed her eyes, letting the music wash over her. She felt her voice soar, blending with the others to create a beautiful sound.

As they sang, Luna felt a sense of freedom and joy. Music class was always her favorite part of the day, and she felt grateful to have such a wonderful teacher and talented classmates.

Everyone took turns singing, showcasing their unique voices and styles. Sonia was the first to step up to the microphone, majestically shaking her hips and eyeing Luna with a confident smirk.

She began to sing, her voice loud and bold, filling the room with her energetic performance. The class applauded politely, and Sonia curtsied dramatically before returning to her seat.

Next up was Emily, who sang a sweet, gentle melody that showcased her soft, soothing voice. The class applauded again, and Emily smiled shyly before sitting down.

One by one, each student took their turn singing, sharing their talents with the class. When it was finally Xavier's turn, he stepped up to the microphone with a quiet confidence.

His voice was like magic, smooth and rich, filling the room with a deep, resonant sound. Luna watched, mesmerized, as Xavier sang with a passion and intensity that drew everyone in.

When Xavier finished, the class applauded warmly.

Finally, it was Luna's turn. She stepped up to the microphone, her heart beating slightly faster with nerves. But as she began to sing, her voice poured out of her like a river, filling the room with a sweet, melodious sound.

The class was entranced, their eyes glued to Luna as she sang. Xavier's eyes were fixed on her, his expression unreadable. Sonia looked taken aback, her eyes narrowing slightly as she gazed at Luna.

But Luna didn't notice. She was lost in the music, her voice pouring out of her like a river. The sound was hypnotic, drawing everyone in, and refusing to let them go.

As Luna finished her song, the room erupted into applause, with cheers and whistles filling the air. Mrs. Johnson beamed with pride, and the other students stared at Luna in amazement.

Xavier's expression remained unreadable, but his eyes seemed to bore into Luna's soul, as if he was trying to understand the source of her incredible talent.

Sonia, on the other hand, looked like she had been knocked off her pedestal. Her confident smirk had been replaced by a scowl, and she seemed to be seething with resentment.

Luna, oblivious to the drama she had just unleashed, smiled shyly and returned to her seat, basking in the warm glow of applause and admiration.

As the class continued, Luna couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. She had always loved singing, but she had never realized just how much talent she possessed.

And as she glanced over at Xavier, she couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. Was he impressed by her singing? Did he even care?

The questions swirled in her mind, but Luna pushed them aside, focusing instead on the music and the sense of joy it brought her.

Sonia got up from her seat, her friends Rachel and Mia following closely behind. They filed out of the music classroom, Sonia leading the way.

As soon as they were out in the hallway, Sonia let out a frustrated sigh. "I'm so disappointed in you guys," she said, her voice low and annoyed.

Rachel and Mia exchanged nervous glances. "What's wrong, Sonia?" Rachel asked, trying to sound innocent.

Sonia stopped in front of her locker, spinning the dial with a sharp twist. "You guys were supposed to back me up during music class. Instead, you messed up and made me look bad."

Mia looked down, scuffing her shoe against the floor. "Sorry, Sonia. We didn't mean to mess up."

Sonia's expression turned icy. "You'd better not mess up again. I'm counting on you guys to help me impress Xavier."..

Sonia rolled her eyes, her expression dripping with disdain. "Whatever," she muttered.

But her eyes flashed with anger as she thought about Luna. "I need to deal with that girl," Sonia said, her voice low and menacing. "She disgraced me in front of the whole school. My name is all over the news, and now everyone's talking about how she spilled juice on me."

Rachel and Mia watched as Sonia's face twisted into a scowl. "And to make matters worse, she's trying to take away my title as queen bee of this school," Sonia said, her voice rising in indignation.

Sonia's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with ways to take down Luna. "I'll show her what it means to cross me," Sonia said, her voice dripping with malice. "I'll make sure she regrets ever messing with me."

Rachel and Mia exchanged nervous glances, their eyes wide with concern. They knew Sonia's reputation for being ruthless, but they also knew that Luna was not someone to be underestimated.

"Uh, Sonia, maybe we should just let it go," Rachel said, trying to sound cautious. "Luna doesn't seem like the kind of person who backs down easily."

Mia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and she's got Olivia by her side. Those two are like a force to be reckoned with."

Sonia's eyes flashed with anger, but Rachel and Mia could see the faintest glimmer of doubt in her eyes. They knew that Sonia was used to getting her way, but they also knew that Luna was different from the other girls they had bullied in the past.

"Luna's not like the other girls we've messed with," Rachel said, trying to reason with Sonia. "She's got a lot of people who care about her, and she's not afraid to stand up for herself."

Sonia's face twisted into a scowl, but Rachel and Mia could see the doubt growing in her eyes. They knew that Sonia was starting to realize that taking on Luna might not be as easy as she thought.
