UNDER HIS PROTECTION

Mrs. Johnson was holding her temper, scolding me, when Xavier walked in with his hand casually resting on his pants pocket, looking coldly at Mrs. Johnson. "That's enough," he said coldly. "Yes, young master," Mrs. Johnson replied, her tone instantly deferential.

Sonia fell on his arm, "Baby, they bullied me," she said, crying. But Xavier's response was immediate and icy. "Get off," he said coldly.

Sonia's eyes widened in shock as Xavier shrugged her off, his expression unyielding. She stumbled backward, her tears of sadness turning to tears of anger and humiliation.

Xavier's gaze never wavered from Mrs. Johnson's face. "I believe we have a situation here that needs to be addressed," he said, his voice firm and commanding.

Mrs. Johnson nodded, her eyes darting nervously between Xavier and Sonia. "Yes, young master. It seems that Sonia was involved in an altercation with Olivia and Luna."

Xavier's eyes narrowed. "And what were the circumstances surrounding this altercation?" he asked, his voice dripping with an air of authority.

Mrs. Johnson hesitated, glancing at Sonia before responding. "It seems that Sonia was making some... disparaging comments about Luna, and Olivia stepped in to defend her," she explained.

Xavier's gaze shifted to Sonia, his eyes cold and disapproving. "And did you think that your actions would have no consequences, Sonia?" he asked, his voice dripping with disdain.

Sonia's face crumpled, and she began to sob uncontrollably. "I-I was just trying to have a little fun," she stammered.

Xavier's expression remained unyielding. "Fun?" he repeated. "You call bullying and harassment 'fun'?"miss Sonia I will get you suspended the next time you try such fun he said Coldly

Sonia's eyes widened in fear as Xavier's words hung in the air, a clear warning. She nodded hastily, still sniffling, as Xavier turned his attention back to Mrs. Johnson.

"See that this incident is documented and placed on Sonia's record," he instructed. "And make sure that Luna and Olivia are not penalized for defending themselves."

Mrs. Johnson nodded, scribbling some notes on a piece of paper. "Yes, young master. It will be done."

Xavier's gaze swept the room, his eyes lingering on each of us before he turned and strode out of the room, leaving an uncomfortable silence in his wake.

As soon as Xavier left, Sonia's demeanor changed. She glared at me and Olivia, her eyes blazing with anger and resentment.

"You think you've won, don't you?" she spat. "But this isn't over. Xavier may have defended you this time, but I'll make sure he finds out the truth about you."

Olivia stepped forward, her eyes flashing with anger. "Leave Luna alone, Sonia," she warned. "She's done nothing to you."

Sonia sneered. "We'll see about that," she said, before turning and storming out of the room.

Mrs. Johnson sighed, rubbing her temples. "I'm afraid this isn't the end of this situation," she said. "But for now, let's just focus on getting back to class."

....... XAVIER'S POV.......

I walked out of the room, my mind still reeling from the scene that had just unfolded. Sonia's behavior had been unacceptable, and I had been more than happy to put her in her place.

But as I walked down the hallway, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story than what I had just witnessed. Luna, the new student, seemed like a quiet and reserved girl, but there was something about her that drew my attention.

I made a mental note to keep an eye on her, to see if I could uncover more about her past and what had brought her to our school. And as I turned a corner, I caught a glimpse of her walking down the hallway, her long black hair falling down her back like a waterfall.

I felt a sudden jolt of curiosity, and I quickened my pace, falling into step behind her. Where was she going? And what secrets was she hiding?

I followed Luna at a distance, careful not to draw attention to myself. She seemed oblivious to my presence, her eyes fixed on some point ahead as she walked.

As we turned a corner, I caught sight of the school's courtyard up ahead. Luna seemed to be heading in that direction, and I wondered what she might be doing there.

I continued to follow her, my curiosity growing with each step. Who was this girl, really? And what was she hiding?

As we entered the courtyard, I saw Luna make her way to a bench in the corner. She sat down, her eyes fixed on the ground, and I could sense a deep sadness emanating from her.

I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I should approach her. But something about her demeanor drew me in, and I found myself walking towards her, my footsteps quiet on the stone path.

My eyes narrowed as I watched Sonia and her friends surround Luna, their faces twisted in cruel smiles. I could sense the tension in the air, and I knew that this was not going to end well.

Sonia sneered at Luna, her voice dripping with malice. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. The little newbie, all alone and vulnerable."

Luna's eyes flashed with fear, but she stood her ground, her shoulders squared. "Leave me alone, Sonia," she said, her voice firm.

But Sonia just laughed, her friends joining in. "Oh, we're just getting started," she said, her eyes glinting with cruelty.

I knew I had to step in, before things escalated any further. I strode forward, my presence commanding attention. "Sonia, that's enough," I said, my voice cold and authoritative.

As I stepped in, Sonia's eyes flicked to mine, a flash of anger and resentment burning in their depths. But she knew better than to cross me, and she took a step back, her friends following suit.

"Mind your own business, Xavier," Sonia spat, but her voice was laced with a hint of fear.

I raised an eyebrow, my gaze never leaving hers. "Luna is under my protection," I said, my voice firm. "And I won't let anyone bully her."

Luna's eyes widened in surprise, and she looked up at me with a mixture of gratitude and wariness. I could tell she was unsure of what to make of me, but I didn't care. I was determined to keep her safe, no matter what.

Sonia's face twisted in anger, but she knew she was beaten. With a final glare at Luna, she turned and stalked off, her friends scurrying after her.

As they disappeared from view, I turned to Luna. "Are you okay?" I asked, she nodded still staring at me with that I walked away without a word, leaving Luna standing alone in the courtyard. But to my surprise, I heard footsteps behind me, and Luna's voice called out.

"Thank you," she said, her voice soft and sincere.

I stopped in my tracks, but I didn't turn around. Instead, I replied in a cold, detached tone, "You don't have to thank me."

And with that, I continued walking away, leaving Luna standing alone once again. I didn't look back, didn't acknowledge her further. I just kept moving, my expression unyielding.
