A drabble consists of one hundred words, no more and no less. It can be a complete story, an excerpt or a chapter. A drabble is a lot harder to write as it teaches the ability to be concise. Something most writers avoid! Word counts are king in the world of the author. Admittedly, it still has to be good padding but padding it is, nonetheless.
The following is an anthology of drabbles. Some, like "The Machine", or "Van Stockum Syndrome" are stories where each drabble is essentially a chapter.
A drabble needs to be able to convey an entire story, or just enough to represent a larger whole. Some drabbles will feel like having gone into the Movie theatre, but you just missed the beginning. Others will feel like you just read an entire novel in thirty seconds.
Either way, enjoy. Not all, but if one can bring a smile it was worth it.
