Bullets

Keifer's POV

"Let go!
Aaaggghhh!" I heard Jay-jay shouts. I've heard them arguing before. It bothers me that we're still here and
watching. Every time I try to approach they will stop me. They keep saying that my recklessness will put her in
danger. As if she's not already in danger. "Noise." I commented trying to get their attention. I immediately
looked at the three of them in the wrong direction. "Seriously? What? Is this? Are you going to hurt Jay-jay?"
Percy whisperedly shouts at me. "I'm trying to get his attention." I explained. But it didn't seem like it was just
his attention that I got. "He-he's here." It was Jay, obviously looking for me. "He's here? Is he here?" "W-who?
Who is here?" That Sato also search. We were alarmed when he slowly pushed Jay-jay away. Nope! Not my
girl! "Let her go now!" Yuri shouts and I almost hit his red haired head. They were angry at the noise I made, it
turned out he was the one shouting too. Sato became even more confused and tightened his grip on Jay-jay. I
was about to approach when Percy suddenly stood in front of me and sang. "Let her go... Let her go..." He said
with a hand gesture. Aries immediately hit him. He turned to face us. "Who is that? "It hurts!" He complained.
"It should be like that, just chill." Aries looked like he couldn't take it anymore. He immediately stood up and
walked closer to where Sato and I were standing. "Let go of my sister!" He added. Percy immediately followed
him and Yuri did the same. I just sighed and followed them. I took off my coat and tie because I knew that
would only hinder our fight. Seeing my Jay-jay almost makes me cry. I badly want to run to her and give her a
hug. I missed her so much but why do we have to see each other in this kind of situation. I looked into her
eyes. And I know with those eyes, she's cursing me again. I smirked with that idea. "Tss... Profanity." "Go
away!" Here she goes. "That's all you really think! Animal!" Keep cursing my Queen, I'm counting them all. I
messed my hair before throwing my coat and tie. "I came back straight from London then you'll call me
Kumag and Animal? There's no 'I miss you Keifer' there?" "Idiot! We met yesterday!" Yup! With a very nice
greeting Baby. "Yeah. You cursed me, didn't you?" "I-I don't remember! I-I'm not that!" Now she's denying it. I
raised a brow and looked at her. She immediately avoided my gaze. "The sky is beautifulâ€"Aahhh... Ouch!"
Sato gripped her tightly. I almost ran to her if I hadn't seen the gun she was holding. "Let go Jay-jay now." It
was Yuri with threatening voice. Jay-jay look at him softly. Don't look at him like that! "Let go of Baby Sister.
Aren't we handsome enough to make you swoon?" Percy and his overflowing confident about his looks. I
rolled my eyes. Why wasn't his arrogance washed away by the current when he had an accident? Oh, that
would have broken his confidence. "Don't call her Baby Sister. She's my sister not yours." Aries complained.
Percy pouted his lips. "You're so cute. Okay, you're my Baby." He added and about to hug Aries but he
immediately raised his fist to stop him. "QUEEN! "LET ME GO!" Jay-jay suddenly shouts. Sato obviously doesn't
like it. He pushes her to the ground and points his gun. My reflexes automatically work. I run as fast as I can
and jump to Sato. "TAKE JAY-JAY AWAY FROM HERE!" I shouted and I saw David carried her away. A strong
blow brought me back to my face. I punched him back. I didn't stop him until we heard the crack of a gun.
"Move away!" I checked who it was and I saw few men with tattoos same with this Sato guy. I move away like
what he wanted. At least 12 of them where still standing but only 2 has a gun in hand. I don't know if he has
any more men . I thought the ones who fell were the ones left. Sato speaks in Japanese while helping himself
to stand up. Yuri look at him furiously. "Yuri..." I called him to translate what this guy is saying. "He will torture
Jay-jay after this." He said that makes me livid. Ci-N is telling the truth about the Sato Clan. A torturer and they
pick anyone they want. Sato again spoke Japanese while walking towards his men. I looked at Yuri and he
turned back at me. "He said we are his first priority." He said and we stared at each other trying to
contemplate a plan. But before we could think Percy made a reckless move. "If they can handle us!" He shouts
and throws a stone at them. It hit one of the men with a gun while the other one was about to shoot us. We
each run and rush. Before he could pull the trigger I managed to take him. I kicked the gun away but someone
punched me. I tried to fight back but someone grabbed me from behind. He hit my stomach a couple of times.
I have no plans to beat them up. He's about to hit me again when I manage to raise my legs and use it to kick
him. The force of what I did overwhelmed the person holding me and I fell. I made him sleep in just one
punch. I stood up and looked for Sato. I would pay him back for what he did to Jay-jay. But my plan
immediately changed when I saw him holding a gun and pointing it to someone. I followed where he was
pointing. To Yuri. He was currently exchanging blows so he wasn't aware. Giving him a warning is not enough.
My body automatically runs toward him. "Yuri!" I shouted to call him. "Stop it Keifer!" I heard Percy shouts. But
it's too late, stopping now will end Yuri's life. I saw Yuri looking at me in shock. I jump as high as I can to reach
him and the next thing I heard is multiple gunshots from Sato's gun. We both fell. I don't feel anything from my
body. And Yuri seems fine. We're safe. Yuri stood up and picked up the gun that was on the floor. He pointed it
at Sato and fired one after another. I saw how Sato fall on the ground while his blood is dripping out of his
body. "Shit!" It was Aries. Is he dead? I tried to get up but I felt someone pushing me. "Don't move." Percy said
while holding me down. "W-what?" I said trying to look at him. Aries sit besi
des me and Yuri looks at me
worriedly. Still clueless why they keep pushing me down. I was going to ask what the problem was but I was
answered when I felt my clothes getting wet behind me. Shit! They lifted my clothes from behind. "It looks
shallow and the bleeding isn't that bad." Percy said. "What now?" Aries asked. "We need to take him to the
hospital. I will callâ€"." "No. Don't call them." I cut him. Jay-jay will know I was hit. I don't want her to get worried.
Aside from that she's not into blood. His bleeding problem still hasn't been solved . "What do you want to
happen? Walk like that? The bleeding will get worse when you stand up." Aries said and stood up. "What do
you think?" I sarcastically asked. He chuckled in disbelief. "It's dangerous, Keifer." Yuri said. "Clear my path, I
will walk normally." I said. "You're welcome, you should hurry up and get out of here. Run." Percy suggested.
Seriously? "Too much activity will cost excessive bleeding." Aries said. "And excessive bleeding will lead to
death." "This? Will you die? The hill is probably a party." Percy said and laughed. I badly want to reach him so I
could punch his face but I can't because of my position. I felt him adjusting my clothes before standing up
and shaking out his own. "Oh, I'm bleeding!" He said as if in shock. He probably got it from me. It was his fault.
He just approached me and grabbed me without thinking. "Move! What is it? Do I look like I'm going to get
wet!" Aries complained. I looked at them and I saw Percy wiping the blood from his hand using Aries' clothes.
"Just wipe it off. I'll face Freya loves. I have to be presentable." He said and fixed his hair. "I'm going to go see
them. I need to know if Jay-jay and my Freya are okay." He said goodbye and looked at me. "You only have a
ew minutes. Excessive bleeding will cost death." I don't know if he's just trying to scare me or if he's really
threatening me. Whatever it is, he's not helping. He turned around and walked inside. It was different from
what we had been through earlier. Sato and our friends must have passed through here. I tried to move slowly.
I tried to sit up and blood starts to pour from my back. I could feel the pain but my back seemed to be
gradually going numb. Not a good sign. "I guess we can cover his wound." Aries said and took out his
handkerchief. I immediately motioned for him to stop. I pointed to my coat and tie just behind him. He took it
and gave it to me as a gift. "It's your business. No one is to blame if you die." He said and turned around. He
also went inside the same way Percy did. I was about to stand up when I saw Yuri's hand. "You should put it
down." I said and looked at Sato. I can't tell but I think he's dead. Yuri killedâ€". "It's not yet done." My forehead
crease. When I looked at him he was also looking at Sato. I look back at the deadâ€"no. "Is he still alive?" I saw
his movements. We both stared at him. Few small movements is enough to confirm that he's still alive.Yuri
approached him still holding the gun. I tried to stand up with one hand for support but it was injured by a
sharp rock. I took my necktie and used it as a bandage. I tried to stand up again and I saw Yuri walking toward
me. He was no longer holding the gun. I looked at his clothes when I noticed a lot of blood on him. Not sure if
that's my blood. "Let me help you." He said but declined. "I was just hit by a bullet but I'm not paralyzed yet." I
said and wore my coat. "Do what I said, clear my path." He pursed his lips and turned but he stopped after a
ew steps. "I'm just wondering, if you die here..." he faced me with a deadpan looked. "No one will know, how,
why and who did it, right?" I tilted my head. And he really have time to make fun of me. "You're a fvcker! It
won't work with me." I said and he smiled a bit before continuing walking back inside. At one point, I almost
think that his threat is real. But of course he's my friend. He can't do such a thingâ€". My head automatically
move to Sato's not so alive body. Is he really dead this time? I'm about to walk toward his body but my back is
getting worst. I quickly put on my coat and walked in. Every step I took was every breath of blood behind me. I
just hoped Jay-jay wouldn't notice. I don't want her to have a panic attack and worst, she'll lose herself again. I
can almost see them all. My stomach is twitching with every step I made. I shouldn't feel excited but I can't
control it. And when I saw her eyes, everything went silent.
My Jasper Jean.
"Keifer." Ci-N called me.
Now it's no longer silent.
"Ci..."
"Are you okay?"
"Not good. I need to get out of here as soon as possible." I said trying
to control my dizziness.
"At our hospital. Dad will take care of you." He said and I nodded.
"We'll take care of Jay-jay."
My head automatically turn to Jay-jay. She's looking at me obviously
worried. I remained stoic. I don't to show that I badly miss her.
"Go Keifer. Maybe you'll get hurt." Ci-N said and I continue
walking.
I tried not to look at her while walking but it seemed like a reflex to me to
find a way to see her. My head turn to look at her but I
bit my tongue to shut my mouth.
I continue walking and when I get closer to Aries, I saw Ella besides him.
She also looks at me. In the long time that I haven't seen her ,
I have now realized that I really don't have any feelings for
her anymore.
And I thought my feelings will never moved on.
I chose to pass them, I can see Yuri and Percy both looking at me.
Like I what I ask he did clear my path. If I could get out quickly,
I could get to the hospital quickly.
But something hit my back. I almost screamed in pain.
"Jay!" Yuri warned her.
And another hard thing hit my head.
I felt dizzy.
Am I losing too much blood?
I wanted to think it was because of the hard thing that hit me but
obviously not. Staying here will put me in danger.
Then something soft hit me. What is it this time?
"That! Eat it! You'll show up and then just do that!
Don't pay attention!" It was my Jay-jay.
Her voice are making me stay. I breath heavily and turn to face her. She's
looking at me furiously.
I looked at the socks and shoes that were scattered. I picked it up and
gave it to Felix who was right next to me.
"Done?" I asked and saw pain from her eyes. "If that's done,
I'll leave." Because I might die here.
I'm about to turn when she speaks again.
"You're good at that! Turn around and leave! Shut up! Get out! That's all
you can do! You can only deal with a punch!"
She's right.
I can only deal with a punch because I get scared every time I'm in front of
her. I get scared of the pain.
"J-jay... That's enough." Rory said obviously worried.
"Keifer... There's a lot of blood on your back." Felix whispered and
I felt my clothes getting wet.
My dizziness also got worse. My vision is starting to
blur.
Denzel said something to Jay-jay and she looked at me fiercely.
"Really?!" She sarcastically asked. "Will you take care of it? Or run away?"
I look at her intently. I won't run away. I'm staying here for you. Even
if staying means dying. As long as you're the last one I see before I
disappear.
"...you haven't even confronted me about your antics
with me! Then you're leaving again? What? Like that again?
I'll wait again? That's it!" She added.
"This isn't really the right time to talk about it." Percy
said but she still continued.
"If you leave, leave but I can't promise
you'll come back."
No, I will stay. That's my decision.
"Done?" I ask and she nodded.
Now it's my turn. I walk as fast as I can towards her. When I reach her,
both of my hands hold her face.
How I badly wish for this moment.
"You talk to much." I said and moved my lips to hers.
It feels like my heart just exploded because of too much happiness. If this
is dying, I will hug my own grim reaper.
I thought, there's no end to this. If only we could be like this. I
will stop time if I have to and at least give me a longer time with her.
But I guess all wishes can't come true. The time that I'm asking for can't
be mine. My body gave in and
my vision darkened as if it were my own.
Maybe this is my time. My end has come. I still wanted to go back
because there was so much I couldn't do but I knew I couldn't.
Or maybe not.
I woke up with the beeping and pumping machine sounds. My eyes are
looking straight at the fluorescent bulb.
Definitely not dead. I can feel the pain from my back. My throat is so
dried and there's something in my mouth.
I look around and I saw Keigan sitting beside my bed while holding my
secret phone.
Fvck! He found out.
"K-keig-gan." I called him.
He looks at me and immediately press the emergency button on the wall
on top of my bed.
"You're awake. You scared me, brother." He said and held my hand.
I can see happiness in his eyes. I tried to hold his hand back but I still feel
week. Doctor and nurses came in and checked me.
My Jay-jay. Where is she?
Few moments before the doctor declared that I'm in a good condition now.
Still need to rest after having an operation. They removed the bullets from
my back. It's a good thing its not that deep, according to the doctor.
After checking me up they left and as if on cue my friends came in.
"Finally awake." Percy said and was about to hug me but Felix stopped
him.
"You see, you just woke up. It's still bad." He said to
his brother.
"Are you ready to fight again?" Denzel asked.
I smiled and nodded. They all laughed because of my answer.
"We're nervous about you." Ci-N said and gave me his gummy smile.
"We were all afraid that something bad might happen to you."
"Except for one." Mayo said without looking at me. Kit slightly
hit him while the others turned silent.
If I can raise my brow I will do it. Who are they talking about? I look
around to look for a particular person.
Are they talking about my Jay-jay?
"W-where is s-she?" I ask them and they all look away.
It was Yuri who answered. "She's on the lower floor. She was admitted
with Aries."
Admitted?
I almost raised my body to get up. "I-is she o-okay?"
Keigan immediately stopped me. "Stop Kuya. That's dangerous."
"Jay-jay is o-okay. It was only Kuya Angelo who admitted
them to make sure they were both okay." Ci-N explained.
But still wanted to see her. I wanted to see if
she was okay myself. I didn't know what Sato did to her.
"I...w-want...see...Jayâ€"." I said trying to get up.
"Stop Kuya." Keigan still trying to stop me. He knew I wouldn't
stop him so he turned to face Ci-N. "Better to bring her here."
Ci-N nodded and walked out. Felix and Percy followed him after.
I just lay down again and rested. I feel the pain from my back.
I'm struggling a lot because of my situation. I look at the rest of our
riends. Most of them have a few brushes but no one got hurt badly.
Except me of course.
They started by making conversation about the incident. I'm just listening
to them until the topic turns to something else.
"But Sato is really crazy. He
just committed suicide out of fear of giving up."
Commit suicide?
I look at Yuri who's also looking at me. He didn't tell the truth? Where
did that idea come from?
My forehead crease. I don't like what he is up to.
A few minutes after when Ci-N came back with Felix and Percy. They're
both empty handed which means they can't bring Jay-jay here.
I just lay down and closed my eyes. I really want to see her.
I didn't realize that I was falling asleep again. I woke up when I
elt my secret phone vibrate. It was resting under my hand
as if it was placed right there by someone.
Keigan is not in here. I slowly picked up the phone and saw the message. It
was my Jay-jay, I answered her message and before I knew it she's on the
line talking to me.
I miss her voice but I don't like the way she's talking. She's telling a
story about us. About me. My tears fell from my eyes. She's saying goodbye.
She's giving up for real.
When the call died I immediately removed my oxygen mask.
I also pulled out the syringe buried in my skin. I push myself to get
up.
I need to see her.
I'm about to fully get up when someone pushes me back so hard.
I screamed in pain from hitting my back. My bed is made of
oam but the impact still hurts.
I looked to see who it was and I saw my brotherâ€"no, he looks like
someone else.
"I can't believe Keigan trusted you." He said as if he's not Keigan.
Or he's really not.
"Everything was planned. But you choose to be with your girl. It's good
that you got shot." He said and laughed. "Maybe I should let you die here."
He walked closer to me. "Of course not. Keigan might hurt
himself." He pressed the emergency button.
The next thing I know, Doctors are giving me sedatives to calm down.
But I don't need those. I need to see my Jay-jay.
My eyes automatically close. I lost consciousness before I could say
anything to my brother.
I woke up by 2AM, my brother is fixing everything to move me to
London. But I can't leave without seeing my Jay-jay.
I let Keigan think I was still asleep. When he leaves my
room, I continue what I'm planning to do earlier. I took off everything that
was attached to me again. I pushed myself to get up.
I was out of breath when I could stand up. Because of the time, I
no longer see any patients or nurses at the hallway. I called Aries
using my secret phone.
"Do you know what time is it?" He asked irritated.
"I need your help." I said and stopped for a while.
"I'm not helping you. Go ask someone else."
"Please..." I literally sounds begging.
"Yes. Where are you? I'm bored."
"Meet me in the elevator." I end the call and walk as fast as I
can.
When I got to the elevator, he was inside waiting for me.
He was still surprised to see me. I tried my best to convince him to let me see
his sister.
He didn't want to at first but he also took me to their room.
He even managed to watch the door to make sure no one just walked in.
And right at that moment. I want to cry and hug my Jay-jay.
