Dream

Jay-jay's POV

"Let's just sell that. For some profit." Who is that? Who are they
selling? Why are they looking at me? "Are you crazy? I haven't even scored on that mother yet and you want
me to dispose of it." A man said and lit a cigarette. The person he was talking to laughed and said that I was
being sold. "That woman is also different. It seems she hasn't had children. Her body is still beautiful." They
looked at me for a moment. " That boy is also a man like his mother." They looked at each other with strange
smiles. They were scary. The man with the cigarette in his hand whispered something to the person he was
talking to. That man left , leaving the man with the cigarette in his hand. He closed the door before coming to
me. Who are you? Don't come closer. "Jay, wake up. Move to the room, it's hot in here." What? I don't want to
moveâ€"wait! Why is my body moving on its own ?! "Your mom isn't here yet, let's stay next to each other." He
said and grabbed my arms. W-don't touch me! He stood up and grabbed my hand. My body was moving on its
own. I was following a man I didn't know. Until we entered a dark place. I don't want to! MOM! ARIES! KUYA!
HELP ME! Why can't anyone hear me? Why is there no voice coming out of my mouth? What's going on? Why
can't I move my body? I don't want this! Help me! Please! Keifer. "JAY-JAY!" Someone shouted while shaking
my arms and shoulders. I opened my eyes and the faces of Aries, Kuya Angelo and Tita Gema appeared
before me. "He's awake." Aries said and moved away slightly. Tita Gema came to me and helped me stand up.
I noticed Tito Julz at the door and looked like he was ready to call on his cellphone. "Jay, what did you dream
about? Tell me." He said and wiped my face. It was then that I noticed that my cheeks were wet and my tears
were continuously flowing. My handsâ€"it would be more accurate to say that my whole body was shaking
because of the strange feeling. What was happening? Tita Gema held my hands. Kuya Angelo also came to
me and sat down slightly so that we could be even. "It's okay, talk." His voice was calm but there was an
assurance that I would be fine. "Go ahead. Tell us." Even if I wanted to speak, I couldn't. It was as if my tongue
had become stiff and I couldn't form any words. And when I tried harder, my tears flowed out on their own and
I just cried out loud. Aunt Gema immediately hugged me. And that's when the strange feeling I was feeling
became clear to me. I was so scared. And because I was so scared, my body didn't agree with what I wanted
to do. "Sshh... It's okay. We're just here, no one will hurt you." Auntie said while rubbing my back. I felt Aries
hold my hand. Kuya came closer to me and kissed me on the head. "I'll get him some water." Uncle Julz said
and went out. I still continued crying. I don't know where that dream came from. But I'd rather it was just a
dream because even if I deny it, I know very well that it wasn't just a dream. It was part of my past. I don't
understand why they keep coming back. I don't need to remember them anymore. I don't want to know what
happened to me so if possible, those things won't come back to my mind. "Auntie... I-I don't want that. Get it
out of my mind... Get it out of my mind." I said while continuing to cry. "Sshh... No more. We're here, we won't
leave you." Auntie replied as she continued to do what she was doing. I don't know how long I cried. Uncle Julz
had already returned with water and the maids had already brought food upstairs just to calm me down. But
they only brought fruit. I wanted fried chicken. After drinking the water, I tried to fix my hair. My nose was still
blocked from the cold but I think I'm fine. "Can you talk now?" Kuya Angelo asked. "I don't want to talk to you,
Kuya." I said and bowed. She took a deep breath before standing up. "Okay, get some rest. We'll talk
tomorrow." She left the room completely and so did Uncle Julz. Auntie Gema followed after making sure I was
fine. He laid me down again and pulled me over. He didn't turn off the lamp. He smiled at me before closing
the door completely. The silence was eerie and the sound of someone biting into an apple was also eerie. I
looked at Aries who was sitting at the end of the bed. He was still looking at his cellphone while eating.
"That's mine." I said almost in a whisper. He looked at me for a moment before going back to what he was
doing. "Go to sleep." I turned around and hugged Snorlax. "I can't sleep anymore." I felt him stop and put down
the plate on the table. I also heard him walking towards me. "Jay." He called before sitting next to me. "Can
you tell me your dream?" I shook my head. "I don't want to remember it again." "Okay then, I won't force you."
He said and was about to leave but I grabbed his arm. "Stay here." He stared at me before nodding. He lay
down on the other side of the bed. "Did your dream really go so badly that you don't want me to be away from
you?" There was a hint of humor in his tone but it was still obvious that he was serious. I adjusted the bed to
ace him. Even though I wasn't looking at him, I knew he was staring at me. I might melt. I just kept quiet so
Aries chose to keep quiet too. Because of the lamp light, I could at least see the other side of the roomâ€"the
horoscope. I closed my eyes after clenching my fist. I couldn't imagine what could have happened in that dark
room. I hope that's all I can remember. I hope that what happened back then wouldn't come back to me. Back
then. "Aries." I called him softly. "What?" He replied. "Where were you? When I was with my mom?" I felt him
turn to look at me. "Why are you asking?" I shook my head. "I just want to know." It took him a while before he
answered. It was as if he thought about what to say first. He was probably afraid that his answer would make
me angry. "Here." He answered softly. I knew. I just want to know if you think about me while you're having fun.
"Are you with them?" He didn't answer. "Yuri, Percy, and Keifer." He still didn't speak. He must have fallen
asleep. It was past midnight. I don't know how long he helped Kuya Angelo earlier and then he got into a fight
because of my bad dream. "You guys are still friends." I continued even though I knew he was asleep. "You
guys are still just babbling. Now just babbling. But Percy is still babbling. Then you're just babbling â€"ouch!"
Something suddenly clicked in my head. When I raised my gaze, Aries' eyebrows met while looking at me. Oh,
he was still awake. "What the hell are you talking about?" He said annoyed. I pouted as he simply scratched
the part of my head he had tapped. "You really don't plan on sleeping?" He asked and adjusted the bed. "Okay,
I'm going to sleep and then you watch over me. Maybe someone will suddenly grab me." My eyes widened
when I remembered that. It was really a blanket, I was just teasing Ella. Does she think I'm crazy? It's really my
sister. It's just a dirty mind that feels good to be teased. "Did I think you were the one who would watch over
me?" I asked and scratched her forehead. "That's what you did in the past." She used one arm as a shield.
"Let's switch. Well, that's tiring too." Oh wow. I winced at her. "Go to sleep. Your beautiful sibling will watch
over you." I said sarcastically. She looked at me seriously. She frowned even more and slowly approached me.
"I only have one sibling." She came closer to me. "And she's not beautiful." I slapped my forehead. To my
surprise, my hand moved on its own to hit her hard. She was also surprised by what I did. I thought she would
be angry with me but she suddenly smiled. "You're okay. You're hurting again." He said after hugging me. "Go
to sleep. Whatever your dream is about, I'll make sure that it will never happen again." I hugged him too. "Even
if I wanted to sleep, I can't . Your armpits stink, it's hard to wake upâ€" aaarrrraayyyy!" He pinched my back. I
immediately let go and was like a fish out of water, writhing on the bed. "That hurts!" I complained while trying
to reach my back which he pinched. "You're all nonsense." He said. "You even got Ella involved in your
nonsense." I sat up and looked at him with wide eyes. " Did she report me? It was just a joke." "Don't tease me
anymore, maybe next time you'll fight." He said as if it was a very serious matter. "You too. When you become
amilyâ€"." "Oh no! Johnny, Johnny no dad!" I sang and he immediately looked at me with a bad look. "It's night
Aries. He's just sleepy." He patted my neck so I immediately blocked my arm as protection. "You! You always
have an answer. I hope you're like that in your exams ." He said before standing up and approaching the table
where he put down the plate he was holding earlier. He picked it up and handed it to me. It was only half full
and the other fruits were gone. Blaspheme this Horoscope, it's not for him and then he ate it. "Finish it." Even if
he didn't say I would. I started to chew on the rest of the fruits. And even though I was eating something, I
couldn't help but think of my brother and Ella. I really couldn't tell if they really loved each other. It seemed like
their relationship wasn't that solid. Aries didn't react much. He wasn't the type of person who would make a
big effort for a woman. Then he was often grumpy as if he was carrying a lot of problems. Ella? Damn. There's
something I can't pin point about that girl. She told me she made a mistake before. She thought it was still
Yuri but it turned out she loved Aries. But it seems like something is missing. I watched Aries who was
currently making his bed. I didn't intend to ask about them but I also wanted to know. "Aries..." I called his
attention but he still continued what he was doing. "Do you love... Ella?" He looked up at me for a moment
before going back to what he was doing. "Isn't it obvious?" I nodded. "So what is Freya to you? Have you
become one?" He stopped what he was doing. He sighed and sat down next to me. "You might not believe it.
Freya is like my girl best friend. We just fight more often than we agree." He replied. Girl best friend? "Next
time, don't read other people's conversations." He added and I looked away. "Oh, what did you read?" I ate all
the remaining apple in my mouth. I didn't want to answer, maybe he'd scold me for good. "You left our
conversation open. So whatever you read, tell me so I can explain." I didn't leave it on purpose. I didn't know I
would fall asleep right after crying so much. This is the fault of the Demon, the pest, the King of Snakes! It's
really his fault! It's his fault, Freya's fault, and Ella's too. It's all their fault because they're flirting. Can't they just
date far away or maybe I won't get to know them. It's crazy! A guy's girlfriend, don't study first. "Ask questions."
He ordered. I bit my lip hard. Aries doesn't have to explain anything to me because it's not his fault. So I won't
ask anything. I shook my head after taking a bite of the remaining fruit on my plate. I chewed it first before
swallowing it and handed him the plate. "I won't ask anything. I think so." He looked at me with a bad look
before accepting the plate and placing it on the table he had taken it from. When he returned to his place, he
continued to lie down while using one of his arms as a pillow. "It's up to you, you too." He said with a tone of
remorse. "If I had to ask you something, it would probably be about you." His eyebrow raised as he looked at
me. I sat up and faced him. "The times when we didn't see each other because you were angry with me. What
happened to you?" He took a deep breath and stared at the ceiling. "That incident happened. Keifer got mad at
me, Yuri and Brother Angelo tried to mediate but nothing happened. Many people got mad at me, investors in
the company backed down. I pulled some strings to make sure that no one would surpass me because I know
people would bully me. I met my classmates, Rakki became my friend, Freya became my girlfriend, Ella
became my girlfriend. Our conflict got worse then you came and the rest is history." He explained as if he was
just reporting to class. Wow, a lot happened. "Why are the investors like that? Why did they back down?"
"Because everyone thought I left Percy. They quickly judged me and said I was a bad person. Of course they
thought my brother was my brother, they attributed what happened to what Kuya could do in the future of the
company." I nodded. They were judgmental. They would do that right away? Why would they have the same
mindset and gut feeling to know that Kuya Angelo was the same? They weren't at the scene of the incident
either so they don't know the real story. Judgement, really! Is it because they have money that they have the
right to do that? That's not how it is! That's not how it is! But I, even though I don't know the whole story, know
that Aries can't just leave Percy like that. Those stupid step-brothers of mine are important to him, even if it's
not obvious. That's why he didn't reach out to me when I needed him because he was busy with his friends. "I
know you didn't really leave him." I said and he looked at me again . "Because every time you mention that
accident. Your eyes twinkle." Little star. She laughed a little. "What?" "Your eyes look like they're about to cry
and then they close their eyes like this." I said and imitated her blinking. "Because if you really left her. You
wouldn't have the courage to tell me that and the pain in your eyes wouldn't show." Yesss, she knows a lot. She
smiled at me shyly. "Maybe. Where did you get that idea? From Percy?" "No, I already knew that. He's smart."
She laughed a little. "Is that why you're not reviewing? The exam is just around the corner." I stopped when I
remembered the 4th grading exam. "Wait a minute, you just asked about the accident. It's like you're Percy,
you keep mentioning it." Those blue eyes? "Why?" "Just. He's weird. He feels like I'm going to talk to him."
What's wrong with Percy asking about the accident? That one is really stupid. Maybe he forgot that the two of
them were together so what Aries knows, that's all he knows. Aries looked at his phone. He looked like he was
just checking the time. "You really don't plan on sleeping?" I shook my head. "There's no school tomorrow,
don't sleep either." It was already painful. "Whatever. Find a way to keep me from falling asleep." He said and
closed his eyes. I smiled before placing my hand on his stomach to grab itâ€" well, pinch his skin. He
immediately sat up in shock and pain. You woke up. He immediately looked at me evilly as if he was hugging
his own stomach. "What the hell! What's wrong with you?!" "There! You're awake!" I said while smiling in a way
that made him laugh. Suddenly he wrapped his arm around my neck. "Ouch! Let go!" I complained while
slapping his arm. He didn't answer and tightened his strangulation on me even more. He just let go of me
when I was about to cough from lack of air. "You're just being silly." Who would have said to wake him up. I
stood up with my head in my hands to fix the bed. He did the same . When he was properly back in bed, I sat
down again while hugging Snorlax. I noticed him tossing and turning and changing places. Not satisfied, he
sat down again and looked at me annoyed. "It's your fault, I'm sleepy now." He blamed me. This Horoscope is
a joke. Who is waking us both up? And now he's blaming me. "Yes, it's my fault. I'm a sinner," I said
sarcastically. "Are you like that to your classmates? And to Keifer?" He asked while raising an eyebrow. "Don't
mention that guy!" I replied annoyed. "Why are you suddenly angryâ€"." He didn't finish what he was saying. He
seemed to have thought of something and looked at me. "Because of what Freya and I talked about ?" I didn't
answer. I turned my back on him after lying down. I had no intention of finding out about that. I would rather
hear it from him myself. "Didn't I say I'll explain? Ask me instead of acting like that." He said and pushed me
away with his finger. He quickly pulled his hand away. "What? I'll just ask him." He didn't say anything more and
I also fell silent. I felt him lying down. We were silent for a few minutes when he spoke again. I didn't intend to
pay attention but what he said meant a lot to me. "Keifer is not the guy. He's not the one Freya is crazy about."
