Jay-jay's POV

I didn't get an answer from Yuri.
The ending was that I left disappointed and upset. Until I got home, I was so annoyed that even though Kuya
hit meâ€"which made me cry from the painâ€" I was still so annoyed. What hurt even more was that everything I
learned about Freya kept coming back to my mind . Yuri was the man she was obsessed with. The man who
almost got her pregnant. And Aries knew that. "Jay-jay! Wake up, it's time for breakfast!" Aries shouted from
outside my room. I had just woken up and washed up. I opened the door and was surprised to see my
horoscope brother looking at me. "Your eyebags are big." He commented on my eyes. "Don't pay attention to
that. I have something to ask you." "What?" "About Freya." I started and he waited. "Is Yuri the man she's crazy
about?" He paused for a moment and stared at me. "Did he say anything?" I shook my head. "I just assumed."
He sighed. "Have breakfast. Kuya will bring us now." Whut? I was about to tease him with an answer but he
had already left in front of me. I had no choice but to follow him because I couldn't be late or complain that my
service was always in a hurry. Kuya Angelo was our service today. It wouldn't be nice if I showed him that I
was complaining about coming in early. It was like I was complaining to the wall. When I got to the table, Tita
Gema, Tito Julz, and Kuya Angelo were talking . But when they saw me, they suddenly fell silent and pretended
to be busy with something else. Even though they didn't say it, I knew I was their topic. "Eat up. Aries might
catch you." Tita Gema smiled at me. I nodded and started eating breakfast. They continued talking but about
what their topic was. Until I finished eating and said goodbye, they were careful about what they would say. I
was itching to find out what they were talking about about me. Maybe later, they want me to inherit a fortune
that I don't know about yet. There's no need, I already have an island. I hurried to take a shower and get ready
because I didn't want to bother Kuya Angelo but maybe I didn't want him to get angry because of my
slowness. If Aries gets annoyed when I'm rushed, Kuya is scary. So I finished getting ready faster than my
normal time . When I left the room, I noticed that my sister who is good at reading fortunes was putting on her
shoes . Damn! I was ahead of her. I actually waited for her at the door of her room to show her that I was
aster than her this time. I didn't have to wait long either. "Why?" She opened her mouth. My smile widened as I
looked at her. I can only say this now after the long time I spent riding in her car. "You're so slow. Fast." I said
and laughed out loud. She just shook her head. "It looks like you didn't have enough breakfast." She said and
walked away. I followed him with a smile that still reached my ears. I barely had time to record this day so I
could slap him that I was the first to fix him and he was the one who was slow. "Are you ready?" Brother
Angelo asked us while fixing his necktie. He looked at me in surprise because of my appearance. He just
ignored me and turned around. We got out one after the other and got into the car. Aries was next to the driver
and I was in the back and was still smiling. "We still need to pick up Ella." My brother Horoscope said and my
smile quickly disappeared. What's that? Why are you still picking her up? "Won't we be late if we pick her up?" I
asked and Aries turned to me slightly. "No. We'll be fine." He replied. You're not the driver, how could you say
that? I just felt awkward before looking out the window. I really didn't hold any grudge against that woman at
first, because the lightning bolt did so many things that affected me. That included being stingy with food
when my sister and I were in the hospital. She would stuff her food into her lungs. Add to that her agendas
were unclear to me. She was too mysterious and her thoughts were scary. Most women's personalities are
easy to figure out, but hers seemed like a challenge. Her approach to our section was not a good idea.
Especially to Yuri and Keifer. What if she was right about Yuri? Poor sister, even if she was good at guessing,
she still couldn't handle the pain. If it wasn't for Yuri, maybe for Keifer. I guess the skin would blend into the
skin. It was like my vision literally went dark when I saw Ella's house. I looked next to me when the door
opened, I was forced to move just so she could get in. My older brother and I met each other's gazes from the
rearview mirror. I just chose to avoid it. I was quiet the entire trip and they were the only ones talking. Until we
got to school and got out of the car, I didn't make a sound. When we entered the gate, I immediately stopped
when I saw Yuri. He straightened up when he saw me. I didn't want to avoid him just because I was angry. I
just wanted him to tell the truth. I slowly approached him and forced a smile. "Good morning." He greeted.
"Can we talk...about...yesterday?" I nodded. "As long as you tell the truth." He bowed briefly before smiling and
starting to walk. We took each step slowly so that we wouldn't reach the room right away. I was hoping that he
would actually tell me the truth, what was really going on in his life. "Sorry if there are things I haven't said yet.
But what I said when we were on the rooftop is true." He started. "I know that's true. But what else is
happening to you that I don't know?" Why are you with Freya? He sighed. "A lot of things Jay, a lot." He avoided
looking in the other direction. "And I needed an escaped which what Freya is helping me with." My question
that I couldn't let go of from earlier was answered spontaneously. I won't ask what else they did besides
dyeing their hair. I feel a pain in my chest because of the thought, what if I find out everything they did in her
room? Tambling. "W-why?" Why Freya? I'm annoyed because I can't give the questions that are on my mind. I
used to be comfortable asking her questions but now I feel like I'm being eaten by fear. "I need a little break
or all the shits that are happening to me or it will be my end." She answered without looking at me. I
understand that part. With her problems, she really needs a break. Who isn't tired of facing problems? Even I
need to breathe first. But why Freya? Can't I help you? I bowed my head. "I understand. But don't be shy about
coming to us. We're your friends too." She was silent for a moment so I looked up at her. He was just stunned
by our walk so I nudged him lightly. He blinked as he came back to the present. "I will... Of course. You guys
are my friends." He replied and nodded. But he went back to staring at our walk. He was thinking too deeply
that I couldn't help but feel nervous. I wanted to ask more but I chose to remain silent. Until we reached the
room and sat in our seats, I remained silent. I looked at Ci as he waved in front of me. "Idiot..." He said taking
another sip of the shake he was drinking. My eyes quickly lit up at what he was drinking. "Pengeee!" I said and
was about to reach for it but he immediately dodged. "Just buy it." "Just a little." The Little Kumag immediately
shook his head and walked away. So stingy! I was about to stand up to chase and tease Ci but someone had
already lowered a glass full of shake in front of me.
When I looked up, David was looking at me, also holding something
and drinking it.
"I know you want it too." He said and sat down in his seat.
I smiled before accepting what he gave me. "Thank you."
"You must have been so distracted, you didn't hear us earlier."
I looked at him in surprise while sipping my shake. I was confused by
what he said. I didn't remember anyone talking to me earlier besides
Yuri.
"Ci and I met you before you came in. He asked you
if you wanted a shake but you just kept going." He explained.
I thought about what he said carefully and then I remembered that I had seen
them earlier before I entered the room with Yuri.
I was really distracted.
I scratched my head. "Because I was thinking deeply." "
About what?"
I shook my head quickly. "It's not important." "If it's not important, why are you still thinking about it?" He asked
with an eyebrow
raised . His instinct was working again. Sometimes it was annoying to tell David. It was so hard to lie to him.
The instinct was so social that it felt strong. "N-not like that. What's up." "You can try me. Maybe I can help."
He said and smiled. He had a point. He was easier to talk to than his fellow Ulopongs. There was probably
nothing wrong with me telling him. Maybe he could really help me. I moved closer to him a little and he did the
same. "Y-it's Yuri... I feel like he's moving away from us." I whispered and he nodded. "It seems like he's having
a hard time getting close to us." He took a sip from the glass of shake he was holding. Before adjusting the
bench he was sitting on to get closer to me. It felt like a long gossip. "Now that you mentioned it. I don't
remember Yuri reaching out to us. I don't know with Keifer but you know him, If someone is in trouble and
needs help he will call us." He said it as if he had really thought it through. It made me think too. They were all
the ones who had been together the longest. That's why he notices things like that the most. Because if it
were me, Yuri often handles the problem so that's probably the reason why he doesn't tell them. "Maybe he
just doesn't want to bother you." I defended myself. "Maybe. Or he don't really consider us his friends." He
replied and adjusted his seat. I was left stunned by what he said. He's the one with the broadest mind of all of
us. So if he said something like this, it just means he's been observing that thing for a long time. But what if
it's true? It's like it's hard to accept that he doesn't consider the people we've been with in joy, trouble, and pain
as friends. What was all the time he spent with us for? Impossible. Maybe David just doesn't notice. But I
know Yuri also considers our classmates as friends. After all the time they've been together, hasn't he learned
to appreciate these things yet? I tried to put what he said out of my mind. I quickly sipped the shake, which
made my head hurt suddenly. It was as if my brain had literally gone into a brain freeze. It was still a little
rozen. It was a good thing I finished what I drank before Sir arrived. He took a moment to attend to me before
announcing the good news. "It's only half a day... You can go home by lunch, as long as you don't forget the
lessons for your afternoon class. Study on your own." The idiots immediately started shouting, but they also
got up early because Sir was looking at them in a bad way. He still seemed upset about us not showing up the
other day. Sir Alvin was pranked. I felt like the time had dragged on because of our waiting. That's why when
our last class for the morning ended, it was like there was a party in the room because the chubby Ulopongs
were shouting. I was standing while organizing my things. I was about to turn to Yuri when the King of the
Ulopongs suddenly appeared next to me. "Lunch?" He offered. I shook my head. "I'm going straight home."
"Eat all you can buffet." I quickly grabbed my bag. "Let's go. I'm ready." He shook his head while laughing. I
looked next to him as Yuri passed by. I immediately stopped him by grabbing his arm. He was still surprised at
first but then stopped walking. "W-where are you? You're with us. We're going to eat." I said to him and I looked
at Keifer for a moment. He smiled at me. "No way. I have a visitor from Japan." I let go of him and nodded. "S-
okay. Text me if you want to come or follow." He smiled and nodded before turning his back on us. I was
starting to think about something again. I wish he could be with us on our walks so he wouldn't stray far from
us. Or to keep an eye on us? I turned to Keifer when I noticed him staring at me. He was obviously examining
what was on my mind. That's why I did the most effective defense. I squinted. He immediately calmed down
and tried to cover my eyes. "Stop that!" He said while covering my eyes with his palm. I tried to remove his
hand and move my head away but he didn't agree. "What?! Take it off!" I heard his soft laughter so I tried to
reach out to hit him but he was able to avoid it so I only heated his arm . I hit it and pinched it. "Aw! S-stop!" He
complained before completely removing his hand. I could see the redness of his skin. I felt a little guilty. But
envy overcame me more. He was white. I was momentarily stunned when I noticed that we were the only
ones in the room. It seemed like the Snakes had already left without us noticing. They were really fast when
they got home and to eat. "Let's go... They've already left." I said and walked ahead. As we left the room,
Denzel immediately appeared before us, clearly stressed out from what he was talking about. I watched him,
almost crying. "Grace! It's dangerous!" He said, almost crying. It was as if Grace was the one stressing him
out. "I can't! I have work to do!" He added and pulled himself together. "Listen first becauseâ€"hello? Grace?" He
looked at his cellphone and was about to curse loudly. It was as if the pregnant woman's call had interrupted
him. "What?" Keifer asked, grabbing his attention. He looked at us in surprise. "W-are you still there?" "No. We
weren't there a while ago. We were just your imagination." I answered and he scratched his head. "Why are you
so stressed out?" "Because it's Grace... Didn't I promise you that you'll be with her this week?" Oh yes, of
course. "I forgot about that." "I didn't even bother to worry about it. It's because she tried to attack you
yesterday. I was planning on going next week and then I'll be the one to go." He explained. That's why. After all,
it's hard to just go out now. Especially when someone tries to get me. If Aries and Ella, who have nothing to do
with it, get caught. How about Grace who is pregnant? I can't handle it if something happens to her because of
me. "What did you say? Did you agree?" I asked. She shook her head. "I don't want to. Then she said she was
leaving the house." "Hal! It's dangerous!" "There's another problem." She said and I waited for her to say. "I
have a job. It's a shame if I don't let her go, the tip will be big for me." I couldn't help but be amazed by Denzel.
He's really being responsible now. It's not like before when he chased Grace away and didn't want to take
responsibility for getting her pregnant. Now, he's really into work to be a mother to her and her son. I smiled. I
wanted to help him even in a small way. "We'll just go with Grace." I said and he immediately shook his head.
"No. And also, it's dangerous for you." "I'm with them. If you still disagree, don't go to work and accept my
money." Keifer said and was about to take the wallet. I accepted. Denzel quickly calmed down. "Oh no! Don't!"
"Okay then, Jay-jay and I will take care of him." The King of Cobras said and suddenly walked over to me. My
elbow automatically rose and hit his stomach. The gunggong released his grip and bent down while holding
his stomach. "Don't worry. No one will probably try to get pregnant." I assured him while smiling at him. He
nodded. "Thank you very much Jay. I'm sorry too. It would be a shame if I turned down the job, it might not
happen again." My smile widened at him. "What are you? What are friends for?" Friends. My smile disappeared
spontaneously when I remembered what David said about Yuri. I prefer to think that he just doesn't want us to
get involved. I know that we are important to him too. "Just text me when he's with you. Thank you very
much!" Denzel said as he walked away and waved. I looked at the King of the Snakes. He immediately smiled
at me with his eyes narrowed. I wanted to punch him for the simple cuteness he was doing. I just gave him a
hard time before taking out my cellphone and texting Grace to find out which mall he went to. Luckily, he
replied right away. Next, I texted Kuya and Aries to say goodbye. It took me a long time to think about what I
would say just to let me in. To: Kuya Angelo, Horoscope Message: PhUntah lng aq mall😁 😁 . Mhay smhn
aqng bUnthis . Safe aq, my ksmah aqng safeguard . (I just went to the mall. I'm pregnant with a partner. I'm
safe, I have a guard with me.) They almost replied to my text in quick succession. From: Horoscopes
Message: I don't understand your words. Fix it. From: Kuya Angelo Message: I understand nothing. I smiled.
That's okay. At least I said goodbye. When they complained. I'll tell you, they didn't say anything in the text.
They didn't say 'no'. I put my phone back in my bag and greeted the King, who was clearly bored. We headed
straight to the parking lot where his car was. Since his beloved sports car crashed yesterday, he's using
something different now. It's still expensive and looks scary to ride. The kind that won't let you breathe just so
you don't get bacteria and that might even cause the car to break down. Where do I get money? The island?
When I got in, I just had a straight body and straight forward gaze. He laughed a little because of my
appearance and when he noticed that I was struggling with the seatbelt, he adjusted himself. Our trip to the
mall that Grace had texted was quick. It was a good thing he decided to meet me at a restaurant because I
really wanted to. "Are you guys here?" Grace asked us as we sat down in front of him. "Does it matter?" "No,
ah!" We both answered at the same time, raising our eyebrows at each other. Even though her face was dark,
her beauty still showed through. But even without makeup, she was still beautiful. She was beautiful. I was
just so beautiful....in my eyes. We sat inside the restaurant for a long time. Grace was still looking for the
names of the stores she wanted to go to. The other people waiting to eat kept giving us the same looks. We
just left immediately. Grace and I were the ones who went together while Keifer was behind us, motionless. I
couldn't help but look at Grace's stomach because she was constantly holding it and constantly moaning as if
she was trying to get something from inside her body. This didn't look good.
