Jay-jay's POV

I'm crying. I want to cry out loud. So loud and then I'm crying like
a baby. Louder than Baby Grazel's crying. "You see that?" Kuya Angelo asked while pointing at a store name.
"It says 'Happy Bread'." I heard Aries' soft laughter that made me frown. "That! It says 'On sale'!" Kuya added
while pointing at a billboard with Sale for a clothing line. "I know how to read." I almost whispered my answer.
"You know? Amazing! When did you learn our language? Have you been here on planet earth long?" He asked
angrily and my horoscope brother laughed out loud. "It's Kuya!" "What?" He asked innocently. "You thought
your nonsense would get away with it." Aries whispered. "I know you won't let me." My weak answer. "I heard
that last night. And I'm giving you the same answer. Still unsafe Jay, unsafe." I didn't answer and chose to
remain silent. Brother Angelo would only get angrier at me. There might be a continuation to last night's
sermon. If only each of his sermons could be replaced with food, I would be so happy. When we got to school,
he even threatened me before letting me get out of the car. "Jay, come to your senses!" I quickly opened the
car door and almost ran into the school to get away from him. That's enough! My ears were already bleeding
rom Brother's sermon! I admit that I can be silly but I have a good reason sometimes. I also know that they
don't trust me or they won't let me in so I have to make excuses and make unique ways. I usually just accept
Brother's sermon. That's why it's tiring when it's too much. Am I being too silly to make his sermon too much
to my face? I was stopped in my tracks when someone blocked my path. My face almost hit his chest.
"Esushme!" I said and was about to change the path but he blocked me again. I immediately looked up at him
and glared at him but a lip met my gaze. I quickly dodged but my forehead was still hit. I immediately moved
away and prepared to punch the King of Cobras in the face with my fist. "Are you crazy?" I asked annoyed but
he answered me with a sweet smile. "Don't involve me in your madness, okay?" "Good morning too." I looked
at him sharply. I didn't like the way his smile was. It was like he was about to do something silly. He almost
kissed me but he failed so there was probably more to come. "What did you eat to meet me like that?" I asked.
He laughed slightly. "Is it wrong if I meet you?" "Idiot, you don't meet me!" His smile suddenly disappeared.
"Profanity." Whut? My eyes widened. Before he could grab me, I ran away. I thought that flash of profanity was
over. It turns out that the exception to that law, the Snake, only lasted until the island. "Don't come near me!" I
shouted as I ran away. I took big steps even when climbing the stairs just so that that flash of profanity
wouldn't catch up with me. He was about to kiss me again, but we weren't. I was almost to our room when
someone suddenly hugged me from behind. I was about to scream but he had me leaning against the wall
and blocked both arms so that I couldn't leave. "Where do you think you're going, wife?" He asked with a grin.
"Your face, wife!" "Would you like me to remind you that you called me Hubby back in the island?" Powta!
Reminded me! "I don't know what you're saying!" I refused. He slowly brought his face closer to mine so I
immediately dodged. I also used my hand to push him away from me. "You can't deny it. You even hug and
kiss me!" I immediately went straight to ours and faced him. "Oh, that's not true." He was about to take the
opportunity to kiss me but David suddenly appeared next to us. "Seriously? You're so good at manipulating
Jay-Jay." He said and folded his arms. Keifer moved away from me while smiling and faced David. "I saw on
the internet, jealousy is painful. So, get well soon David." He said and walked away but before he could enter,
he gestured with his finger while looking at me. 1 profanity. He was counting again. He counted again. I'll
make sure he won't be able to charge. His eyes were already white from waiting. I faced David who was
calmly looking at me. "Good morning." I greeted and smiled. "Good morning too. How long are you going to let
Keifer take over you?" I shook my head. "No way. I can handle myself, don't worry." "I know you can handle
yourself, but not him." I pouted. "Y-because..." He sighed. "I guess only a rock is unbreakable right now." He
turned around and entered the room first. I followed and was quickly greeted by the Ulopongs. We were
almost complete except for Denzel who I knew couldn't leave his newborn wife behind. Yuri was already in his
place and talking to Keifer. I chose not to greet him because he might suspect that there was something
different about me and that I knew something. As I sat down in my place, Ci-N smiled sweetly at me. "Good
morning, Kokey." he greeted me. I looked at him sharply before smiling fakely. I even faked a laugh and he
joined in. "Shut up, I won't treat you to a snack." I said and his smile disappeared. "It's just a joke. This is no
longer funny." He tried to hold my hand but I pushed it away from him. "Don't worry, you're prettier than Kokey.
She's just more famous." I teased her with a slap. "You're so strong." She smiled broadly while her gums were
showing. She really knows how to be cute when she does something wrong. It's a good thing she's strong for
me. "Jay..." Eman called to me. "Do you want to join the giveaway? We're planning to give Grazel a gift." "Okay."
I quickly agreed. "What are you planning to give?" "A house and land." she replied and my smile disappeared.
"What do you think of Grazel? Maybe she's just a baby." She laughed weakly. "Baby things. Crib, walker, stroller,
and toys too." I nodded. That's good. Grace didn't buy everything she needed for the child either. It would be a
big help if we gave her a gift. "We're also planning to give Denzel cash." She added. "Okay. I'm joining in, how
much is the giveaway?" "As much as you can give." I thought for a moment. I only have 200 with me now but I
can probably still chase donations in the next few days. "Do you need cash?" Keifer asked, turning to me. "I'll

said with annoyance. "Just match the amount we're going to give." Kit suggested. The other Ulupongs quickly

the 7 pesos. I'll contribute that to Grazel." Drew immediately became angry. "Son of..." I was amazed at how
much he was going to give. We were about to argue about the amount to give but Sir Alvin had already arrived.
Eman also told him our plan and with a relieved heart he said that he would join in the giving. We were happy.
Not all teachers can do that. Sir really looks at us even though we sometimes answer him and prank him. We
started class. Until the next subjects, we were still discussing the gift. Some teachers were just passing on
'congratulations' for Baby Grazel's safe exit. It was obvious that they were only congratulating Grace and not

being silent, the little guy started asking questions and telling stories. Good thing... "Maybe I can give some of
my toys to Baby Grazel?" he said. "Your toys are expensive collectible items. Some of them aren't really toys."
David answered and I remembered the toys he often brags about to me. "Of course, I'll give you a different
toy." "What toy is that?" I asked. "PS4." A different toy. We both looked at him and he barely understood
anything of our successive sermons. "Are you crazy?" "Grazel is too young for that kind of game." "That's not

We went back to walking until we reached the cafeteria. Some people turned to look at us and quickly
whispered. Some of us girls in the crowd quickly made cute faces at Keifer and David. Some greeted Ci-N and
she greeted them back. I looked at the line of students. The Ulopongs definitely wouldn't be late when they got
to the cafeteria. They were already in line and it was obvious that many were angry at what they were doing.
They were having a good time. "Jay! Let's go here!" Edrix called out to me loudly, making us look at each other.
I wanted to slap him for grabbing his attention. We immediately approached them and while in line I felt
something strange as if someone was looking at me badly. I slightly circled the surroundings so that others
wouldn't notice. I was either staring at the students or staring at the ceiling. And just as I turned to the end of
the cafeteria, Freya's evil gaze was on me. I immediately dodged. I hadn't even talked to Edrix about that
matter. I guess the girl who was shocked was already waiting. The idiot looked excited. I bit my lower lip for a
moment. I watched Edrix for a moment and raised my hand to reach him but I quickly pulled it back. I didn't
know what to say to him. But I needed to say something as soon as possible. The witch was impatient, maybe
he'd fight me. I had no choice, so I grabbed Edrix who was in front of me. He looked at me and smiled
teasingly. "I won't let you in. We're just as hungry." "No, that's what you think." I replied annoyed and he
laughed. "It's just a joke. You can't be funny anymore." He came closer to me and whispered."Keifer probably
hasn't been fondling you yet." I cursed at him for his last words. He immediately screamed in pain. He also
bent down while holding his stomach. People quickly looked at us. "What's going on?" Keifer asked. "He-He
just doesn't want to join the line." I excused myself. "It's terrible, it's scary not to give Jay what he wants." Rory
said and patted Edrix on the shoulder. Suddenly, Eren smiled like a fool, his eyes almost twinkling. He turned
to the people in line and suddenly shouted. "That's what will happen to you if you don't get out of line!" They
looked scared and the others immediately moved away just to give us a way. I wanted to stop them but the
other stu
dents looked away . Some left the line because they had no choice. Some were actually kicked out by
other Ulopongs. I just slapped my forehead because of what they did. And when the queue was gone, the
lightning-fast Ulopongs ran in front like tigers . I was about to ask for patience but Ci-N pushed me to the front
so I could choose what to buy. I just pointed out something so that those who were being removed could
leave immediately and return to the queue. "You idiots!" I said angrily as we left the cafeteria.
"Blessing in disguise for punching me."
Edrix said with a laugh.
I grabbed his arm before he could get away from me. He
looked at me in surprise.
"Let's talk." I said seriously.
"What are you doing? I'm fine. I'm not angry for punching you."
he said but I shook my head.
"It's not about that."
He became serious. "Did something happen?"
Even the other Ulopongs stopped and looked at me.
They were too nervous.
"About Friend." I answered and smiled.
The Ulopongs suddenly nodded. They even let out a sigh as if
they knew exactly what I meant.
"No problem, guys. Let's go back to the room and eat."
Eren said and walked away with a smile.
"It's just Friend. Edrix can handle that." Blaster said
and Edrix immediately looked at him evilly.
"Let's go... May he be blessed with courage." Josh whispered and
turned around.
The other Ulopongs laughed softly while shaking their heads. Keifer smiled briefly
and walked away. The other
Ulopongs followed them.
"Who is Friend? Aren't we his friends?" Ci-N asked as
David tried to pull him away.
I could see Rory's silly laughter as he walked away.
Why do I feel like some of them already know?
"They don't know. Right?" Edrix asked me nervously.
"W-nothing... I guess."
We walked and found a place with few students.
We ended up in the parking lot. I looked around before speaking.
"What about Freya?" he asked me boredly.
"It's like, Freya and I talked about something." I started and
he seemed even more bored. "What... because..."
"W-did you say something about me?"
I shook my head. "But I mentioned that someone likes her."
Suddenly his eyes became sad. "He doesn't want it, right
?"
"He accepted." I said and his face lit up. "
He'll give me a chance."
"NICE!" someone shouted and I almost dropped the
ood I bought because of the shock.
When we turned around, Rory was the one who looked at us with a big smile.
She was also gossiping.
"You're great, Jay. This is Edrix's chance." she said
as if she was grateful for the donation she received.
"Sira! Something just happened so I mentioned it but
Freya doesn't know that I was talking about Edrix yet." I explained.
"That's fine, as long as our troop has a chance."
"All we have to do is prepare the courtship-."
"I won't do it." Edrix interrupted me.
Rory and I turned to him at the same time.
We almost slapped him just to make him feel bad for what he said.
Come on! This is your chance!
"You used the wrong word." Rory said.
"No. You heard me right." Edrix replied and my shoulders seemed to slump

"But why?"
"Isn't it obvious? Because I'm the only one I have. No one else.
I have nothing to be proud of." he said and started
walking away.

I'm going to be teased by Freya. What should I say? Her lover has backed out

I pulled my hair out with one hand. "He's gone."
"No, Jay. He can't go." Rory said seriously.
"It's his chance to be happy." he looked at me and
smiled with an impact. "Leave it to me."
I slapped him lightly. He looked like he was stealing panties from the
clothesline. He
looked like he could break a leg.
"Oh my." he complained.
"You look crazy." I looked at Edrix for a moment who was far away
. "What are you planning?"
Rory also looked at the one I was looking at. "You know
a person's closet has many secrets."
I looked at him. Rory does know a lot.
Maybe even more so a friend's secret.
