Moving in
Jay-jay's POV
Sir Alvin and Ma'am Cindy are getting married ? Are they getting married? Why? When? And why wasn't I informed? If I hadn't seen Ma'am Cindy here at Sir's house, I wouldn't have known. They are getting married. In that case, Sir is the real reason why Keiren is here. Not because Ma'am and Keifer are close. "Fix your face." Kuya ordered when he noticed that I was frowning. "Because I was thinking about something." "You're thinking about something?" He asked in surprise. I held my chest and pretended to be hurt and surprised by his question. It hurt too much. You hurt me, brother. "Are you awake?" I asked annoyed. "Did someone hurt you?" "No. But I got into a ï¬ght because of your mischief." He answered and was about to cut me off. I thought for a moment when I remembered the gun he was holding earlier. That gun was not just any gun. "Why do you have a gun? Where did you get it?" I asked him one after another and he was stunned for a moment. "I have many sidelines." He answered quickly. I was about to ask more questions but an oncoming car caught our attention. There were two cars in a row. I knew that one of them was the King of Cobras but the one he was with was unfamiliar. The two cars stopped in front of us. I was not mistaken that Keifer was the driver of the ï¬rst car. I waited for the driver of the one after him to get out. I was slightly surprised to see Sir Alvin. He didn't look like he was driving fast. "What's with this chaos Angelo?" Sir asked Kuya. He didn't seem like Sir Alvin. He sounded strict now and as if he would hit me if I gave the wrong answer. Far from the gentle and always pleading Sir Alvin at school. I stared at him carefully while talking. His movements and speech were different but he still dressed the same. His body was just more upright than Sir Alvin at school because his back was slightly bent. Sir's twin? Maybe Sir Alvin has a sibling and they are twins and they look alike. I waited for their conversation to end but I still didn't take my eyes off Sir. Until he walked closer. "What's your name?" I greeted him. He looked at me in surprise. Kuya and Keifer also looked at me in surprise. "You're Sir's twin, right?" I added. Keifer shook his head while smiling and Kuya sighed . "II don't have a twin." He answered me. I was dumbfounded. "Oh why do you look alike Sir? Are you Sir's double hanger ?" I heard Keifer laugh loudly. "It's doppelganger not hanger." Turns out I was wrong. "That hanger, it's been replaced. You're always gone." I answered him annoyed before facing Sir's friend again. "Oh, brother, don't meet Sir. As the saying goes, one dies when a double-double and an original meet." "I'll take note of that." Sir's friend replied and continued to approach the car where Yuri and the red-haired woman were. He opened the door and woke Yuri who had fallen asleep earlier while we were on the road. I peeked at them and I was just as surprised when I noticed that the woman was no longer inside. "Brother Angelo, the woman is gone." I reported and he also approached the car. "Who?" Keifer asked who was next to me. We moved a little away from the car and I started telling him what happened earlier and the wrestling, punching, slapping, and teasing between me and the red-haired woman. In the middle of my story, I felt him hug me. "Hey! Hey! Why?" I asked in a panic. Maybe Brother was just here. "Don't do that again please. Don't involve yourself with gun ï¬ghts. You didn't ï¬ght. You survived earlier but what if you don't next time." He said worriedly. "I'm just worried about Yuri. I can't stand to be alone hiding in a corner." "For once Jay, put yourself ï¬rst." His tone started to change so I got irritated. I immediately moved away from him. "If I put myself ï¬rst, what about my friends...ours?" He sighed before closing his eyes. "Look, you can ask for help from others. Call a police or someone that knows how to handle a ï¬ght with a gun. You can help that way. You don't have to put yourself on the brink of death." I couldn't help but let out the irritation I was feeling. "Do you think I can even think about that? I'm in a hurry. I'm worried. I'm panicking. My priority is to make sure our friend is safe !" "And if you get hurt, who will prioritize you?" I was stunned. He had a point in what he said. I was in the middle of a gunï¬ght. It was just Kuya and I and Yuri didn't even know where I was. What if I got hit? That's it. He came closer to me and held both my hands before bringing them to his lips to kiss. Did I wash them when I was crying? "You can't blame me, I'm worried. That's why I left to make sure you'd be safe. So, please listen to me." I nodded slightly. "I can't promise but I'll try." "That's good to hear." He said and smiled at me. He held my hands for a few more moments. I was about to take them away but we heard Kuya call out so we let go at the same time. "You two get inside!" He said and walked ï¬rst into the house. I scratched my head before following him. I even looked at Sir's face as he slightly adjusted the buttons on his clothes. They really looked like they were split open by Sir Alvin. Could it be that Sir's brother is also missing and they just don't know about it. So why is he here if he doesn't know about it? I aced Keifer. "Why is Sir's brother here? I thought they weren't twins?" He laughed a little. "That's Sir Alvin." "Whew?" He nodded. "He just has a different personality at school." Oh, I thought they were different people. Damn, Sir was acting like that. But he didn't even say anything. He didn't even clarify. He let me think he was a different person from the Sir Alvin I knew. He was also a cobra. I continued walking while secretly throwing evil looks at Sir and weak curses. He was about to hurt his stomach. When I entered the house, I immediately sat down on the sofa. I had already seen this when we arrived. Brother Angelo and I just went out again to wait for Keifer. I thought we were going to talk in the living room but they continued to the back of the house. I was about to follow but Brother Angelo blocked me. "Stay here. We're the only ones talking." "W-wait... Why aren't I with you?" She looked at me with a frown. "I said stay here." I didn't complain anymore and just let them leave. I went back to the sofa to sit down. It was annoying that I wasn't included in their conversation. I wanted to know what Yuri would do and where she would be staying now. Their house on top of the building was in ruins. Where would she be staying now? I looked at Ma'am Cindy who looked like she had just come rom the kitchen because she was still wearing an apron. I quickly gasped when I saw the person following her. She was holding the red-haired girl by the hair. I thought she had already left because she suddenly disappeared inside the car. "L-let go." The red hair girl said. She was no longer wearing the mask she was wearing earlier. I could clearly see her smooth face. And I couldn't be mistaken that she was the same girl at the mall who bumped into me and was pulled out by Yuri. "Not until you tell me who are you and why are you in my property?" Ma'am Cindy said angrily and pushed the woman's face against the wall while holding one hand behind her. "Where are they?" She asked me. I pointed to the door towards the back trembling. Ma'am shook her head and then carried the woman out. I was forced to follow them to ï¬nd out what was going to happen. Yes, the spirit of gossip. They immediately turned to us when they saw us approaching. The door closed noisily because I immediately let go. "Who is that?" Sir Alvin asked Ma'am Cindy. "I saw her hanging around outside." She answered. Kuya and Yuri looked at me. I didn't know what to say so I just scratched my head. "She's with us." Yuri answered while looking at the red hair girl in surprise. Ma'am would have refused to let her go if only Kuya Angelo conï¬rmed what Yuri said. The red hair girl immediately walked away and glared at Ma'am Cindy while rubbing the arm she was holding earlier. It seemed like Kuya and I were hanging up on each other and didn't continue because they walked inside one by one. Sir Alvin went ï¬rst, accompanied by Ma'am Cindy. "Are you hurt?" Sir asked his wife. "What's the matter? When Angelo is here, I don't have a good eeling." Ma'am replied. I didn't hear what they said next because they had already entered the house. Kuya and Keifer followed them. Just as the King was about to approach me, Kuya pulled him by the collar until they entered the house. "Hey!" The King of Cobras shouted. He looked at me as if asking for help but I only grimaced in response. I was about to go inside when I heard Yuri speak. I just didn't understand because they were talking in the afternoon. He seemed to be trying to recognize her hair. I didn't get it. I didn't want to disturb them so I chose to turn around and I went inside but I hadn't gotten far enough when someone grabbed my hand and when I turned around, Yuri was facing the girl and slightly pointing at me. "Y-yuri." I called out to her in surprise. "She's with me that day. You accidentally ran into her." She said while looking at the red hair girl. Yuri seemed to be reminding me of the ï¬rst time we met. The girl stared at me from head to toe. I even made a peace sign even though I knew we had kicked each other. "I remembered." She replied and looked at me from head to toe before raising her eyebrows. Oh, I smell something wrong. Is it round two? I slightly approached Yuri to whisper. "She's still mad at me . We kicked each other earlier." She frowned at ï¬rst but she gradually remembered the scene she had with us earlier before hitting the girl on the head and losing consciousness. "Why did you guys ï¬ght?" She asked me innocently. I immediately let go of her hold and hit her. He grabbed the arm I hit. "Why are you and him in your house? Isn't this an accomplice of those who rushed you? Maybe he's a thief too?" "What thief?" I stared at Yuri in surprise. He was so stressed that he couldn't remember that the thief broke in and shot him. "You robbed them! Then you caught them, that's why you shot them! Right ?" I tried to remind him. He blinked before nodding his head and smiling a little. "Oh, yes, you're right. They're thieves." He conï¬rmed but I didn't seem convinced. "Why do you have a gun?" His smile disappeared and he became slightly serious. He looked at the red-haired woman before looking back at me and smiling. "I need it for protection." I nodded in acceptance of his answer. "I thought you were also on the sideline like Kuya." I smiled at him shyly. "But you haven't killed anyone yet, have you?" He was stunned and I saw him turn pale slightly. My shy smile disappeared and was quickly replaced by worry. I quickly backed away but it also disappeared when he smiled sweetly at me. "Of course not yet. I'm just doing damage and I'll run away rom them." He explained and I breathed a sigh of relief. But I won't deny that I have doubts. I don't want to force him but I'm really having a hard time with the way he's hiding. I really want to help him but how can I do that if he doesn't want to ask for help himself . I was slightly stunned when I noticed the red hair girl. Her eyebrows were very high as she looked at Yuri and me. She must have been annoyed because we were so impressed with her beauty. "M-maybe we should get inside." I nodded and led the way. I felt Yuri following me. I immediately noticed Kuya waiting for us and motioned for us to follow into the living room. We did it quickly . I sat on the corner of the sofa and Keifer sat next to me but before his ass could touch the chair, Kuya stepped in between us. "Move." He ordered with a threatening tone. "Tss." Keifer simply replied before moving to give Kuya space. If I weren't so annoyed with Yuri, I would laugh at him. He's like a child who didn't get what he wanted. He still has a knowing smirk . You won't work with Kuya Angelo. Hehe. I looked at Sir Alvin and Ma'am Cindy walking towards us. They looked at each other before starting to speak. "Keifer." Sir called out to the King of Cobras. "Are you taking Keiren home?" Keifer nodded. "Yeah, It's safe for him to go home now." Ma'am Cindy didn't seem to accept the King's answer. She nodded sadly and chose to remain silent next to Sir. "As per what we discussed, Yuri will stay here for a while. We can't say yet if she's safe in her new place." Sir added but that was interrupted when the red hair girl entered. We both looked at her. A scene ensued. Are you a VIP? "Is it okay if I stay here with Yuri?" She asked even though she struggled to speak English. We looked at Yuri who was surprised by what she heard. We were also slightly surprised. "It's a no. We don't know you and I don't like strangers here in my house." Ma'am quickly answered. "But Yuri knows meâ€"." "Wait! I just officially met you today." Yuri abruptly cut her off. She said something in Japanese that we didn't understand. The red haired girl looked stiff because she didn't even react. I was amazed when Ma'am Cindy suddenly joined their conversation and in Japanese as well. Yuri was still a little surprised by her and looked like they were discussing something that the red hair girl quickly agreed to. "I'll take them to town so Yuri can get her things and so this girl can go home." Ma'am said while pointing at the red-haired girl. The red-haired girl walked towards me. I was surprised when she suddenly squeezed me from where she was sitting in the corner. Keifer and Kuya were forced to move to ï¬t us. I was surprised as I looked at her but she only answered me by raising an eyebrow. Oh my god. Just tease me again? After making sure everything was okay again, Sir Alvin returned to speaking. "Yuri still needs to tell us what's going on." I nodded. " We're not going to get into trouble that we don't understand." Yuri fell silent. She obviously still didn't want to talk but Sir and Kuya were getting impatient to hear her answer. And so was I. "You don't need to get into my trouble." "Don't give us that crap." Keifer replied annoyed. "You called me for help which means you can't handle it anymore. If you hadn't dialed the wrong number, I would have gone." He sighed deeply and washed his face. He felt like he couldn't win against us. "Okay, I'll tell you too. But not now. Let me rest ï¬rst, please." He pleaded. The tiredness on Yuri's face was obvious as he said that. I couldn't blame him. As long as the important thing was that he was ready to tell what was really happening to him. "Don't force him." Ma'am said. "Let's just deal with the things we can handle." Ma'am was my point. Sir sighed deeply. "I'll ï¬x his room." He said and walked away. "I'll just ï¬nish what I'm cooking." Ma'am turned to Yuri. "Then let's eat ï¬rst before getting your things." Yuri nodded in response. Ma'am walked back to the kitchen. I couldn't help but feel disgusted by the woman next to me. He kept looking at me as if I was the reason for the bad luck in his life. I also tried to make him suffer but his knee hit mine. I almost fainted but I thought of Kuya who was next to me. He might scold me if he found out I was arguing. I knew we would end up ï¬ghting so I thought I would just stand up. They both looked at me at the same time. "I-I'm just going to help Ma'am Cindy." I made an excuse even though I really had no intention of doing so. I just wanted to get away from the red-haired girl. She was so scared to cut her hair. Where were they going to get the scissors? Kuya nodded to let me. I looked at Keifer who was looking at me. "What?" "Are you really going to help?" He asked angrily which made me flinch. "Let her be. She's hungry." Kuya answered him and they both laughed. I just felt bad and walked towards the kitchen but I was surprised when the red-haired girl passed in front of me. She went ahead of me and immediately approached Ma'am Cindy. She said afternoon and they talked. I just wanted to go back to the living room where they were, Kuya. I had no objection. "Mariano, do you need something?" Ma'am asked me when she saw me standing and looking at them. "I hope I can help." I said. She nodded and motioned for me to come over. "Please cut these ." She pointed to the egetables on the table. I approached and was about to take the knife but a red-haired woman preceded me . Ma'am only raised an eyebrow but she turned her back on us and faced the stove where she had been cooking. I just took the smaller knife and was about to take the onion when the red-haired woman preceded me again. I just let her go because there was still one onion that needed to be peeled and cut. After the onion, I followed with the other vegetables. That was my surprise when I noticed that the ones that needed to be cut were already in half and almost everything was done. I looked at the red hair as if she was in a race because of how fast she peeled the skin. "Done." She said when she ï¬nished what she was doing. I just ï¬nished what I was doing. I wanted to ignore her, but I couldn't help it. It was like she was competing with me, which I didn't understand. Is there a competition? What prize? Ma'am Cindy took our snacks and she was the one who set everything up in front of the stove. "Clean the table." she ordered. And as expected, the red haired woman hurried again . I chose not to move and just watch her do everything. That's right, show off. Ma'am also ordered to put plates on the table. And what else could I expect. The red haired woman was racing again. She even made it difficult for me when she ï¬nished. I wanted to laugh at her. Because of what she did, I didn't have to do anything anymore. But I was relieved. I had no plans to show off like she was doing. Then in the end, there was no prize. I just don't understand why she still seems to be competing with food. It feels good to pull out the red hair again.
