Return to Their World

There was no ground beneath their feet, no walls surrounding them. Just an endless void stretching in every direction. Jin-Won felt a strange energy pulling at him, his body weightless as if he no longer belonged to this place.

"What's happening?!" Lyria screamed, clinging to Hori's arm.

Hori, panicking just as much, yelled back, "Nooo! I hate this kind of magic!!"

Before they could make sense of anything, a blinding light exploded around them—

And then…

They fell.

Jin-Won's eyes snapped open, cold air filling his lungs. He wasn't in the temple, nor in any strange realm… He was lying on a wooden floor.

He blinked, staring at the ceiling—one he immediately recognized.

He was in his room.

He sat up abruptly, his breath unsteady. Everything around him was exactly the same—the computer screen, the scattered books, even the wooden sword he had trained with since childhood.

"Was… was all of that just a dream?" he muttered.

Before he could think further, a blue screen appeared before his eyes—the same mysterious interface he had seen in the temple.

[ World Transfer Activated! ]

[ Return to Original World… Successful. ]

His eyes widened. This wasn't a dream.

His phone suddenly rang. When he picked it up, he froze.

The name Lyria flashed on the screen.

But… he didn't have her number.

Before he could answer, loud knocks banged on his door.

And with a voice that was far too familiar, Hori shouted from the other side, "Jin-Won!! Open up, you idiot! We have a problem!"

Jin-Won slowly got to his feet, his mind racing.

If Hori was here… and Lyria was calling him… then what did this mean?

Had they really returned to their world? Or was there another mystery waiting for them?
