Jin-Won remained motionless, his breathing steady but unchanging. No matter how much Hori shook him, called his name, or even lightly slapped his face, he wouldn't wake up.
"This doesn't make sense," Hori muttered, frustration growing in his voice. "We made it out. The world is back to normal. Why won't he wake up?"
Si-Yeon frowned, examining Jin-Won closely. "It's like… part of him is still elsewhere."
Lyria's eyes widened. "You mean he's trapped between worlds?"
"It's possible," Si-Yeon admitted. "We've seen stranger things. Maybe something happened when we crossed over."
Hori exhaled sharply. "Then how do we get him back? Do we go back in?"
Si-Yeon shook her head. "If the portal truly closed, returning isn't an option… at least, not yet."
Hori ran a hand through his hair, then looked at Jin-Won with determination. "Then we figure it out. No matter how long it takes, we're waking him up."
Lyria smiled softly. "We're all in this together."
As they carried Jin-Won to a safer place,
