Flashback Arc – Chapter 9

"The Rise of The Three Souls"

---

Scene 1 – The Academy's Announcement

Dibrugarh Academy – Main Building

The massive announcement screen at the center of the campus flickered to life. Thousands of students gathered around as the voice of the academy's director echoed through the air.

> "Attention, students of Dibrugarh Academy. Effective immediately, a new registered gang has been recognized within the academy ranks. This gang will operate under official guidelines, participating in all sanctioned events and turf wars."

> "Introducing… The Three Souls."

A murmur swept across the crowd. The moment those words were spoken, the entire academy exploded into chaos.

> "A new gang?! Who the hell are they?" "Wait, wait! I heard they already took down Adonish Tutty in a fight!" "No way! That guy is a monster! Who's leading them?"

The screen displayed their official lineup:

Leader: Ishaan "Ishu" Pegu

Vice Leader: Kongkan "Kai" Pegu

General: Mriganko "Mri" Doley

1st Division Captain: Kellyso Kri "Kelly"

2nd Division Captain: Adonish Tutty "Ado"

The students were stunned.

Someone in the crowd muttered, "Who the hell are these guys?!"

Another smirked. "We're about to find out."

Scene 2 – The Meeting Room

Dibrugarh Academy – The Three Souls' New HQ

In one of the abandoned lecture halls, the newly-formed gang gathered. The room had been converted into their base, filled with mismatched chairs and an old blackboard with their gang name scribbled in chalk.

Mri leaned back, arms crossed. "Well, that escalated fast."

Kai smirked. "Yeah. We're famous now."

Ado laughed, flexing his muscles. "Damn right. Let's see who's got the guts to challenge us."

Ishu adjusted his glasses. "We need more members. We can't take on the Twin Monarchs with just five of us."

Kelly grinned. "I might know a few people."

Mri raised an eyebrow. "Go on."

---

Scene 3 – The Mysterious Girl

Dibrugarh Academy – Classroom 11-B

The morning classes had just ended when Mri noticed her.

Sitting by the window, lost in thought, was a girl with long black hair tied in a high ponytail. She had sharp golden eyes, her features striking yet delicate. There was an air of mystery around her.

> Konica Deori.

Mri had seen her before—always alone, always quiet. But the rumors said she was strong.

He nudged Kai. "What do you know about her?"

Kelly smirked. "Konica Deori? She's a beast in combat. Fought two seniors at once last year and won."

Ado adjusted his glasses. "I also heard she turned down an invitation from the Twin Monarchs."

Mri cracked his knuckles. "Perfect. Time for a talk."

---

Scene 4 – The Confrontation

Mri casually strolled over and sat on the desk in front of her.

"Yo."

Konica looked up, raising an eyebrow. "...What do you want?"

Mri smirked. "Your strength. Join us."

She leaned back, crossing her arms. "Join you? Just like that?"

Kai chuckled. "That's usually how he works."

Konica tilted her head. "And if I say no?"

Mri leaned in. "Then I'll have to fight you."

She blinked, then suddenly laughed. "Wow. You're a reckless idiot, aren't you?"

Mri grinned. "That's what people keep telling me."

Konica studied him for a moment before her expression turned serious. "You really want me on your team? Then tell me—what do you want to do with this academy?"

Mri raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

She leaned forward, her golden eyes gleaming with intensity. "Dibrugarh Academy is rotten. The system is broken, the strong prey on the weak, and the ones in power don't care. My father was the principal once. He built this academy to be a place of discipline, respect, and true strength."

Her voice hardened. "But they kicked him out. The ones in charge now… they turned this place into a battlefield. The Twin Monarchs, the elites, the underground deals—it's all a game to them. I don't want to be part of some gang war."

Mri listened silently, intrigued.

Konica clenched her fists. "I'm not here to fight just for fun. I want to change this academy. I want to clean out the filth, bring back order, and make this place what it was meant to be. That's why I'm aiming for General Secretary."

Mri leaned back, thinking. Then he grinned. "So that's your goal?"

She nodded. "That's my goal. And I don't need a gang. I need warriors who will stand with me. Who will fight for something bigger than just power and control."

Mri chuckled, cracking his knuckles. "Sounds like a challenge."

Konica smirked. "So? What's your answer?"

Mri extended his fist. "You fight with us, we'll fight for you. You want to change this place? I'll help you do it."

Konica hesitated for a second, then bumped her fist against his. "Deal."

Scene 5 – Another Recruit

Football Ground – Evening

The stadium lights flickered on as the football match reached its final moments. The scoreboard read 1-1, and the tension in the air was thick.

On the field, Dipankar Murah stood at the center, focused, waiting for the perfect moment. His team had possession, and the ball was passed swiftly between players. The opposing defenders rushed in—too slow.

> WHOOSH!

Dipankar vanished from his position, reappearing down the flank, cutting through like a blade. His speed was unreal.

On the sidelines, Mri, Kai, Ishu,Aamon and Kelly watched with interest.

Kai whistled. "Damn, this guy is fast."

Ishu adjusted his glasses. "Almost as fast as Kelly."

Kelly smirked. "Almost?"

The ball came flying toward Dipankar. Without hesitation, he leapt, twisting mid-air—BAM!

> A perfect volley. The ball shot past the goalkeeper.

> GOAL!

The referee blew the final whistle, and the match was over. 2-1. Victory.

Dipankar jogged toward the sidelines, his teammates celebrating behind him. He wiped sweat from his forehead, looking up to see Kelly smirking at him.

"Still think you're faster than me, Murah?" Kelly teased.

Dipankar smirked back. "You wish. I just let you think you're ahead."

"Oh yeah?" Kelly chuckled. "Then let's see if you can keep up with something bigger."

At that moment, Mri stepped forward. "We're forming a team. The Three Souls. And we need speed. That means you."

Dipankar raised an eyebrow. "A gang? You think I'd be interested in that kind of stuff?"

Kelly shook his head. "Not just a gang. We're here to shake up the academy. Take down the Twin Monarchs. Change the rules."

Dipankar scoffed, stretching his arms. "Hah. And why should I care?"

Mri smirked. "Because we're gonna rule this academy. And when we do, you'll want to be on the right side of history."

Dipankar looked at Kelly, who stood confidently beside Mri. For a moment, he thought.

Then, he grinned. "Screw it. I'm in."

The Three Souls had gained another monster.

Scene 6 – The Gang Grows

By the end of the day, The Three Souls had expanded.

1st Division Vice-Captain: Konica Deori

New Recruit: Dipankar Murah

Kai grinned. "We're starting to look like a real gang now."

Ishu smirked. "Yeah. And soon… we take our first target."

Mri cracked his knuckles. "Let's get to work."

Election

The Rise of The Three Souls & The Election Battle Begins

April 1st - The Grand Announcement

The morning sun bathed the vast campus of Dibrugarh Academy in a golden hue, signaling the start of another day. But today wasn't just any ordinary day. Whispers filled the corridors, and curiosity shimmered in the eyes of the students as they gathered in the assembly ground.

Standing on the elevated stage was Sir Arojit Singh, the teacher in charge of the school's gang system, his expression composed yet authoritative. His presence alone was enough to command attention, but the anticipation among the students heightened when they noticed a group standing behind him—Mri, Ishu, and Kai.

The murmurs grew louder.

"What's going on?"

"Are they announcing something big?"

"Wait… is it about the new gang?"

Sir Arojit raised a hand, and the crowd immediately silenced.

"Students of Dibrugarh Academy," he began, his voice echoing across the ground. "Today, we officially introduce a new force within our institution. A group that has shown remarkable strength, unity, and leadership. A name that will now be engraved in our gang system—The Three Souls!"

A wave of shock rippled through the crowd. The Three Souls? A new gang? No one had expected them to rise so quickly.

Sir Arojit continued, "This group is led by determined individuals who have worked tirelessly to form a team that now stands as one of the most structured and organized in the Academy."

He turned to the trio and nodded. Ishaan Pegu stepped forward, his posture straight and confident.

"The Three Souls is not just a gang," Ishaan's voice rang clear. "It's a movement. We stand for unity, strength, and growth. Every member in our divisions believes in making this Academy a better place. And today, we present our ranks."

Sir Arojit took a deep breath and stepped forward next, announcing,

Leader – Ishaan Pegu

Vice Leader – Kongkan Pegu

General – Mriganko Doley

Then,Sir Arojit listed out the divisions:

1st Division – Kellyso Kri (Captain), Konica Deori (Vice Captain)

2nd Division – Adonish Tutty (Captain), Tanuja Borah (Vice Captain)

3rd Division – Dipankar Murah (Captain), Lakshay (Vice Captain)

9th Division – Samuelso (Captain), Peter Yanger (Vice Captain)

10th Division – Aditya (Captain), Samir Rezong (Vice Captain)

11th Division – Roshan (Captain), Riza (Vice Captain)

Each division had 500 members.

The moment the announcement ended, the entire assembly went dead silent.

Then, chaos.

Gasps. Shouts. Stunned expressions.

"Their numbers… they have over 5000 members?!"

"How did they recruit so fast?"

"This is crazy! They're stronger than we thought!"

Among the crowd, the Twin Monarch, the two feared factions—The Red Vultures and The Black Serpents—stood frozen. Their leaders exchanged uneasy glances.

"This isn't good," one of them muttered. "They're rising too fast."

Just when the tension was at its peak, another voice interrupted the assembly.

"Now, moving on to our next important announcement," said Sir Vinay Das, stepping forward alongside Ma'am Kritika Saikia.

"The Union Body Elections are scheduled from the 4th of April to the 6th of April. All 9000 students of Dibrugarh Academy will have the power to vote and elect their representatives."

A banner unfurled on the stage, listing the positions open for election:

1. General Secretary (GS)

2. Assistant General Secretary (AGS)

3. Cultural Secretary

4. Sports Secretary

5. Magazine Secretary

6. Students Development Secretary

The election campaign had officially begun.

April 2nd - The Battle for General Secretary Begins

The campus was buzzing with energy as students discussed the upcoming elections. Posters began appearing on walls, and whispers of who would stand for what filled the air.

At the center of attention stood Konica Deori, a prominent member of The Three Souls. Her determined eyes scanned the crowd as she declared,

"I, Konica Deori, will stand for General Secretary!"

Applause erupted from her supporters as she continued, "I believe this Academy needs a change! I will work for better classrooms, cleaner corridors, better canteen facilities, and proper parking spaces! If you want a better Academy, vote for me!"

Students murmured among themselves. Konica was already gaining momentum.

But in a corner of the schoolyard, a different meeting was taking place.

Standing tall amidst the Twin Monarch was Luhit Sen.

"I will compete for General Secretary against Konica Deori," he announced. "We can't let them take control of everything."

His followers nodded. The battle lines were drawn.

April 3rd - The Last Day of Campaigning

The Academy was now a battlefield of speeches, banners, and debates. Both Konica and Luhit were on a mission, gathering support for the biggest election of the year.

Konica and her team went classroom to classroom, speaking to students personally.

"We need clean classrooms, better facilities, and a student body that actually listens. I promise you all—things will change if I'm elected!"

Meanwhile, Luhit played his own game. Backed by the Twin Monarch, he promised more influence, power, and control.

"Konica wants cleanliness?" he scoffed. "That's not enough. We need real authority to bring change. Vote for me, and we'll make this Academy stronger."

While the General Secretary battle raged on, another discussion took place in The Three Souls' meeting room.

Konica turned to Mri and said, "We need someone for the Students Development Secretary post. Will you stand?"

Mri hesitated, but before they could answer, Dipankar Murah stepped forward.

"I'll do it," he declared. "I want to make sure students actually get the resources they need."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Dipankar was a strong choice.

With the campaigns nearing an end, all eyes were now on April 4th—Election Day.

April 4th - The Elections Begin

The school gates opened early, and students began pouring into the voting halls. The Union Body Election was now in full swing.

Each student held a voting card, marking their choices in secrecy. The atmosphere was tense—whispers, nervous glances, and even a few rival encounters in the corridors.

Who would emerge victorious?

Would Konica defeat Luhit and take control as General Secretary?

Would The Three Souls prove they were a force to be reckoned with?

As the votes were cast, Dibrugarh Academy braced for the results.
