"I need an explanation." Ye Qingxuan's tone was icy. "Su Ling, who is she really working for? Why do her actions coincide with the time of the Zerg's invasion?"

There was silence on the other end. Then a deep voice said, "She acts for the Federation, but her ways seem to cause more chaos and she seems to be promoting a certain plan."

Ye Qingxuan's eyes turned cold. "A plan? What exactly are you hiding from me?"

The other party didn't answer directly but slowly said, "What you need to know is that everything Su Ling has done, on the surface, is for the Federation, but in reality, it's to ensure the continuation of the Federation's future... even if it means sacrificing some people."

Upon hearing this, Ye Qingxuan clenched her fists. She had never approved of such "necessary sacrifices." She murmured to herself, "The future of the Federation? Is this salvation or destruction?"

At this moment, Su Ling was leisurely sitting in a rest area somewhere after the Federation's high-level meeting, flipping through a document in her hand. 叶青璇目光一冷:"计划?你们到底瞒了我什么?"

对方没有直接回答,只是缓缓说道:"你需要知道的是,苏灵做的一切,表面上是为了联邦,但实际上,是为了确保联邦的未来能够延续...即便需要牺牲一些人."

军官有些犹豫:"林先生,任务二的目标是xx能源委托的资源采集,派遣太多人手会影响..."

林天策挥手打断了他,语气冷静而果决:"别跟我说这些废话.资源采集固然重要,但如果虫星女王苏醒,一切都将化为泡影.必须看清局势,做出取舍."

军官被他的气势震慑,不敢再多说,只能立刻安排人员.

与此同时,林远,黎星辰,林晚晴,半神族的银白战甲女子以及任务一部队已经在向信号源接近.这片区域的地形复杂,充满了虫族埋下的陷阱与伏击点,小队在一路上不断清理虫族的残兵.

"信号源就在前方." 银白战甲女子用机械臂放大地图上的投影,指向一片隐秘的山谷,"那片山谷下方,便是虫族女王的苏醒点."

林远看着地图,忍不住问道:"如果女王真的苏醒了,我们还能阻止吗?"

银白战甲女子面无表情地回答:"这要看你们有多大的决心."

黎星辰插话道:"半神族的情报已经很明确了.虫族通过特殊仪式将女王引导到苏醒的边缘,我们的任务是摧毁这个仪式的核心装置.只要核心装置毁了,虫族女王的复苏会被延缓,甚至完全停止."

林晚晴点头:"那就不要再犹豫了,尽快行动吧."

小队加速向信号源移动,而远处隐约传来轰鸣声,那是任务二派遣的战斗支援部队正迅速接近的声音.

在靠近信号源的途中,林远逐渐感到一种说不出的不安.他低声问黎星辰:"你有没有觉得,这一切太顺利了?"

林远点点头:"或者说,它们在故意引我们来这里."
