Chapter 73 – The Intense Battle (Part 2) 紧张的战斗（中）

Shikamaru watched the path ahead calmly. Using the Shadow Imitation Technique, he dragged Hidan deep into the forest and set up explosive tag traps. By this time, his chakra was nearly exhausted, and the shadow's hold was weakening. Hidan felt the lessening restraint and sneered, "Is this your limit, shadow kid?" He easily broke free from the shadow's hold, pushed off the ground, and rushed towards Shikamaru like a ghost.

Hidan swung his stake neatly, cutting Shikamaru's cheek and quickly collecting his blood. "This is too easy." Hidan put some blood in his mouth, looking fanatical. Meanwhile, he quickly drew a ritual circle on the ground.

Shikamaru gritted his teeth, thinking fast in his mind but not moving. He deliberately gasped loudly, his eyes looking dull, as if he had completely lost his will to fight. Hidan raised the stake in his hand, his voice full of excitement, "It's over, kid. This strike will pierce your heart directly!"

With that, he stabbed the stake into his own heart. Thinking he had succeeded, Hidan turned to leave, but in an instant, he felt a chill down his back.

"You're too arrogant, Hidan," Shikamaru's deep voice came from behind. He suddenly stood up, his right hand holding a short knife as he quickly slashed at Hidan's neck. An arc flashed. Hidan clutched his neck and fell. Shikamaru had placed a lot of explosive tags there, and his shadow made them cover Hidan's body little by little.

"Damn it! You little bastard!" Hidan roared, but Shikamaru remained calm, with a hint of complex emotion in his eyes. He said in a low voice, "Hidan, it's over." Then, he used his shadow to bind Hidan and opened a pre-dug pit, detonating the explosive tags. A huge explosion sounded deep in the forest. In the blazing fire, Hidan's roars were drowned out.

At that moment, Asuma's figure appeared in Shikamaru's mind. Asuma, with a cigarette in his mouth, smiled and said, "The Will of Fire is passed down from generation to generation."

On the other side, the battle continued.

Lin Yuan leaned against a tree, breathing heavily, his hands forming seals. He said to Kakashi, "Kakashi-senpai, my chakra is almost gone... A few more ninjutsu, and I won't be able to hold on."

Kakashi nodded, his forehead covered in sweat. He surveyed the situation on the field. Kakuzu's roars echoed in the air. The last remaining faceless ghost had merged with Kakuzu's body. He raised his hand and launched a combined ninjutsu, Blazing Wind and Turbulent Waves. Hot flames and strong winds rushed at Kakashi, Ino, Lin Yuan and Choji, like a disaster.

"Damn it..." Kakashi quickly formed seals, trying to activate the Mangekyo Sharingan's Kamui to block this attack. But because he didn't often use the Mangekyo Sharingan, and considering the huge power of the combined ninjutsu and the spreading speed of the fire wave, he knew very well that he wouldn't be in time.

"Lin Yuan, dodge!" Kakashi shouted. At the same time, he pulled Ino and Choji aside, trying to use his body to block part of the attack. However, just as the flames were about to engulf them, a fierce jet of water suddenly shot up into the air, forming a barrier.

The steady voices of Yamato and Naruto came from not far away.

"Yamato! Naruto!" Kakashi turned around and saw all members of Team 7 arriving. He felt a slight sense of relief in his heart.

Naruto stopped, stood in the middle of the field, and stared hard at Kakuzu. He said seriously, "Kakashi-sensei, you all rest. Let us handle the rest of the fight!"

鹿丸咬紧牙关,心中飞速盘算,身体却毫无动作.他故意大口喘息,眼神涣散,像是完全失去了斗志.飞段举起手中的利桩,语气中带着兴奋:"结束了,小鬼,这一击可是直接刺穿心脏的哦!"

说罢,他将利桩刺入自己的心脏.飞段以为自己已经得逞,转身准备离开,却在瞬间感到一股寒意从背后传来.

"你太自大了,飞段." 鹿丸低沉的声音从身后传来.只见他猛地起身,右手持短刀迅速砍向飞段的脖颈.一道利落的弧光划过,飞段扶着脖颈滚落在地,而鹿丸早已在这一带布下了大量的起爆符,影子操控着起爆符逐渐覆盖在飞段的身上.

"可恶!你这个混蛋小鬼!" 飞段怒吼着,但鹿丸的神情依旧平静,眼神却多了一丝复杂的情绪.他低声说道:"飞段,结束了." 随即,他操控着影子将飞段束缚住并破开事先挖好的深坑,将起爆符引爆,巨大的爆炸声在森林深处响起.熊熊火光中,飞段的怒吼被淹没.

在那一刻,鹿丸的脑海中浮现出阿斯玛的身影,阿斯玛叼着烟,微笑着说道:"火之意志,可是世代相传的啊."

另一边,战斗仍在继续.

林远喘着粗气,靠在树后,手中结着印,他对卡卡西说道:"卡卡西前辈,我的查克拉快要耗尽了... 再来多几次忍术,就撑不住了."

卡卡西点了点头,额头上满是汗水.他扫视着场上的情况,角都的怒吼回荡在空中,剩下的最后一个无面鬼已经和角都的身体融合.他举起手,发动了复合忍术,炎风乱波.炙热的火焰夹杂着猛烈的飓风,如同末日般席卷而来,铺天盖地地冲向卡卡西,井野,林远和丁次.

"糟糕..." 卡卡西迅速结印,试图开启万花筒·神威来挡下这一击,但因为不常开启万花筒写轮眼,再加上面对复合忍术的庞大威力以及火浪的传播速度,他心中十分清楚,他来不及挡住.

"林远,躲开!" 卡卡西大喊一声,同时拉开井野和丁次,试图用自己的身体挡住部分攻击.然而就在火焰即将吞噬他们的瞬间,一股猛烈的水流突然冲天而起,形成一道屏障.

"水遁·破奔流!"

"风遁·螺旋丸!"

大和,鸣人沉稳的声音从不远处传来.

紧接着,一阵狂风涌来,与水流交织在一起,形成更强大的水柱将火焰完全吞噬.

"大和!鸣人!" 卡卡西回头看到第七班全员赶到,心中微微一松.

鸣人停下脚步,站在场中,目光坚定地盯着角都,沉声道:"卡卡西老师,你们休息一下,接下来的战斗,交给我们吧!"
