Chapter 96 – Sage Mode 仙人模式

Lin Yuan stood at the edge of the battlefield. Suddenly, an eerie feeling permeated the air. He scanned his surroundings. Members of the Ninja Alliance, even the powerful Kage - level ninjas, stood frozen in place, their eyes hollow, as if they'd lost their souls.

"What's going on?" Lin Yuan muttered, frowning. He waved his hand in front of one of the ninjas, yet received no response.

"The Infinite Tsukuyomi has been activated," Jiuchong Ring's voice rang out, full of significance. "Luckily for you, the Infinite Tsukuyomi is a genjutsu. Since you're immune to genjutsu, you're safe."

Lin Yuan's frown deepened. "Infinite Tsukuyomi? Has Madara's plan succeeded?"

Jiuchong Ring replied coldly, "Indeed. But there's an unexpected twist… Don't forget about Black Zetsu."

Lin Yuan sighed, then grimaced in resignation. "To think I'm relying on my genjutsu immunity to escape this powerful Infinite Tsukuyomi. Guess I lack the protagonist's luck, so I need this cheat to survive?"

Without further ado, Lin Yuan rushed deeper into the battlefield.

When Lin Yuan arrived at the battlefield using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, he was suddenly caught in the Amenotejikara. Instantly, he was whisked to a molten-lava world. The sight almost made him spit blood.

Taking advantage of the moment, Naruto swung his fist and sent Kaguya flying.

While Kaguya was airborne, Lin Yuan entered Sage Mode. A faint glow of natural energy surfaced on his body. He observed Kaguya calmly and whispered to Naruto and Sasuke beside him, "Listen, the real mastermind is her son… Black Zetsu. He's been pulling the strings."

Naruto was so shocked that he almost messed up his hand - seals. "What? Black Zetsu?! That thing clinging to Kaguya's sleeve?"

Jiuchong Ring's voice suddenly thundered in Lin Yuan's mind. "Who told you to spoil the plot?!"

Lin Yuan rolled his eyes. "Come on, does it matter now? The sooner we wrap this up, the better."

Kaguya turned around, her sharp gaze locking onto Lin Yuan. "You insects…" She formed hand - seals, and Amenotejikara activated instantly. The battlefield was replaced by a world of ice and snow. With a wave of her hand, a shower of ice spikes hurtled towards Lin Yuan and the others.

Lin Yuan reacted swiftly. Chakra burst from his feet, and he vanished from the spot. Like a bolt of lightning, he weaved through the ice spikes, dodging each deadly attack. He formed hand - seals and then swung his hands vigorously. "Sage Art: Scarlet Earth Vermilion Bird!"

A huge wall of flames rushed at Kaguya. She sidestepped, and the flames missed, burning a corner of the icy world.

Lin Yuan said gravely, "Naruto, Sasuke, seize the opportunity! Don't give her a chance to catch her breath!"

Kaguya activated Amenotejikara again, attempting to use spatial manipulation to evade their attacks. However, Lin Yuan was ready. While Naruto and Sasuke distracted Kaguya, he quickly formed hand - seals. Chakra gathered between his palms. "Sage Art: Blazing Thunder Flying Thunder!"

He hurled the chakra, transforming it into a spear ablaze with thunder and fire. The spear tore through the air and lunged towards Kaguya. Kaguya attempted to teleport again, yet Naruto's tailed-beast power and Sasuke's Rinnegan held her back. The spear pierced her shoulder, knocking her to the ground.

"Now!" Lin Yuan shouted, his voice filled with unprecedented urgency.

Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a look, formed hand-seals together, and charged at Kaguya, unleashing Yang and Yin powers.

林远叹了口气,随即撇了撇嘴,摆出一副无奈的表情:"这么强大的无限月读,居然是靠我的免疫幻术来逃过一劫.果然是主角光环不足,靠外挂弥补呗?"

林远没再多说,立即朝战场深处奔去.

一道巨大的火焰呼啸而出,直扑辉夜.辉夜侧身一闪,火焰擦肩而过,将冰雪世界的一角焚烧殆尽.

林远沉声道:"鸣人,佐助,抓住机会!别再给她喘息的时间!"
