Arin Valtor [3]

After walking for minutes, he finally saw the entrance of the town, it had early medieval houses, and an cobblestone road.

"Not bad, I'm amused."

He took a quick route to an Hotel he can live in, with the system guiding his path with a map of the town – surprisingly large town, equal that to Osaka from Japan.

{Take a right, left, straight and right}

He followed the systems commands towards the Hotel, until he stopped in his tracks, looked up with a skeptical look, it was a four story building.

{} {} {}

{You have reached your destination.}

{} {} {}

"Okay good."

The system disspears Infront of him, as he walked by through the gates of the hotel, it was heavily guarded by mage marksmans, so he decided to ask the system.

"System, what rank do you think they are?"

{} {} {}

{Mage Marksmans- They can be up to Rank X to U, rarely, there are Rank B mage marksmans, don't try anything funny or suspicious to them, they are surprisingly intelligent, cautious and skilled.}

{} {} {}

He was a little anxious to approach the Maskmans, probably because of his Hunter's Cloak that's going to make him suspicious of them.

'Ahh... F*ck it, I'm entering."

He walked in a straight path, entering the gates of the Hotel, until he was stopped by the Maskmans as expected.

"Sir, excuse me, we firstly need to identify you before you enter."

As one of the Marksman said formally, he just walked past them without letting out a single word off his mouth, by that, the Maskmans got into position and aimed their bows directly towards him.

'I see... If i get past them they'll just identify me as a Bad guy, well that's so casual of them.'

He looked at his back, at his front, then his sides, he was surrounded by professional marksman, with their arrows angled accurately at his head.

'Leather helmets... leather boots for them to move freely, and chain armor, not bad, but i have no time to do this shit.'

Then, when he took a single step, they released the string of the bow, the arrow flying towards him at a fast speed.

But he managed to duck below the ground, making the arrows hit many of the Marksmans.

'There are over 43 marksman, 12 down, which means there are 31 left.'

All of them prepared fast, then shooting the arrows diagonally, making him struggle even for a bit.

'Their adaptability is intense... they have improved significantly fast, but unfortunately for them.'

His Sanguine Pyrokinesis was activated when he grabbed an Arrow on the air, he positioned himself straight, using his Intelligence for the best.

'31 minus 6... 25 left, they don't even care if their comrades have fallen because of their reckless aiming, if i take the Maskman on the right, i get shot at the back, on the left side it's still the same.'

With overthinking that helped him a little, he eventually came to plan.

'Then it's the Front!'

He charged at one Maskman in his front angle, stabbing him at the shoulder with the arrow, making the Maskman fall back in fear, aiming unthinkably.

'Gosh, let me rest!'

As he dashed then stabbed another marksman on the shoulder, he spotted a Knight's sword on the ground.

'Jackpot!'

He lets go of the arrow, leaving it on the shoulder of the Marksman still penetrated, then grabbing the Sword at the ground.

Then a clang echoed throughout the streets of the town, it was midnight...

Wiping off the blood stains on his cheek using his thumb, the Maskmans we're no match for him whatsoever.

{} {} {}

{You have Leveled up!}

The Maskmans we now terrified of him, despite their ranks being much higher and greater then his current rank, he was far more vigilant and strategized.

"Now, who is next?, i just need a damn sleep..."

He kept wiping off the blood in his face, feeling a little disgusted of what he have done, but currently has no regrets because they are still breathing, he needed to keep the marksmans alive for to assist him from leveling up, or either, bodyguards, then one of the Marksman had a shaken voice, his hands, trembling upon the bow.

"A... Alright... let's get you... a room..."

Arin finally sighed in relief when they gave up and just let him in to the Hotel.

"Okay... also, i didn't kill your comrades though, i needed you guys to assist me from leveling up."

The marksmans nodded shakingly, still terrified of him.

"R... Right... Yes sir..."

As he entered through the Doorstep of the Hotel, he was met with a sweet aroma of the Lobby, aesthetic wallpapers printed in the white walls, the floor was made out of tiles, and they used lanterns for light.

"Hello!, how can i help you?"

It was a girl, younger then him, an hotel assistant, he can already guarantee she, by far, the cutest girl he had seen so far, other then Ariel.

"Let me get a room to sleep please."

Tilting her head to the side, colliding with a warm wide smile.

"Alright sir, follow me!"

With her hands clasped, keeping her genuine calm and serene, Arin followed behind, while keeping an eye of his surroundings, the walls in the hallway we're White and Gold stripes, it's pretty unique to him because he hasn't seen anything this fancy before in his hometown.

He had a strange feeling of her, as if he recognized her before.

'Weird, blonde hair, clear skin, white tight clothes, and long black jeans... wait.'

He stopped walking.

Then he asked her a question, clearly suspicious of her.

"What is your hometown?"

She also stopped, then turned at her back, her gaze towards him, confused on why he asked that question, but she answered with a soft tone.

"I live in this town, the town of kent!, whats the matter?"

"No."

He clenched his fists, he fixed his gaze towards her, his blood runs cold, he already knew who could it be.

"Before, you came here."

She kept her confusion intact, not knowing of what he ment.

"Before i came here?, what do you mean sir?—"

"Cut the act."

There was a moment of silence and awkwardness in the hallway, she stepped back a little by his sudden change of behavior.

"W... What do you mean... cut the act?"

"I know you live on the town of asthra before right?"

She gasped, her eyes instantly widened in shock, surprised on how did he knew where she lived her everyday life before becoming an hotel assistant.

'How can this guy know where i'm from months ago?!'

"I knew."

He lowered his head lightly, his tone gentle, yet cold, giving goosebumps to her.

"Ashin Astera, the daughter of Jihn Astera, my Uncle."

She gave a little shout, she was all surprised by his knowledge.

"H... How do you know my Father?!"

"Because..."

He hesitated to speak that tragedy, but gained his confidence to speak after six seconds.

"The town, is gone."

Her gasps we're now loud, overthinking of what he just said.

'Gone?, wh... what does he mean?... no, no...'

He walked towards her, his footsteps echoed through the hallway of the hotel.

"All of them, are dead, except me."

She fell to her knees in dispair, she couldn't believe it, she can't imagine her home being battered, and her family...

"Wh... What about my family!"

He gave a straightforward answer.

"Their dead also."

Her mind was completely blank, she was momentarily frozen in place of the shock, he couldn't care because he actually didn't want to go back on that aftermath.

He eventually unlocked the door to his room for him to sleep, but right when before he can open the door, he was hugged at the back.

"Huh?"

It was Ashin, her hands wrapped around him, held firmly, but her tears we're still clearly visible in her eyes, and still flowing...

"Will you... stay here... with me?"

She was immediately embarrassed, letting him go and shiftily covered her face, flustered.

"Ahh!!!... Why did i say that..."

He sighed, then opened the door to his room where he will stay for a couple of months.

"Alright, i'll stay here, for 9 months."

She released her hands away from her face, then looked up at him, refusing it to be 9 months.

"9 months is short, make it 2 years!"

He shook his head in denial.

"No!, I can't stay here for that long, i need my own house if i'm rich enough."

She puffed her cheeks in frustration, but he giggled softly by her playful behavior.

"Right, sorry, i told you that your entire family was dead, i know mines too, but still."

She shook her head gently, with a warm, little smile, that's clearly visible.

"No, it's fine, thanks for telling me."

Arin sat on a chair next to his bed, and Ashin just sat on his bed, it was fluffy and comfy, it was queen sized.

"Tell me, are you only the assistant here?"

"No, but theres someone that's accompanying me."

The door opened from the outside, and a maid came in, he clearly knew who it was by her short, purple hair.

"Hello there, my name is Fania Etna, and i help Ashin to clean up the hotel everyday."

...Fania Etna, a girl he knew since he was 3!.
