'The world completely changed, after the monsters we now call "The Fallen" appeared all over the world, half of the population died while some mutated, resulting to only an estimation of 3,400,057,216 humans remaining, that disaster was called "The End".
The World was completely destroyed with only Fallens remaining in every continents. The United Nation decided that all of the remaining humans should live in an isolated island 54 kilometer away from the continents, big enough to fit more than 3 billion humans, that island was named Alpha, symbolising the beginning of a new world and due to the advanced technologies, we were able to make the island looks just like the continents we used to live at.
The reason why us, humans were able to survive is because of the mutators, humans who mutated but returned to being a human through some kind of conditions, some is because of their rage, some is because of their love while some is because of their sorrow, there are more other conditions but these three are the most common. Though a lot of the Fallens were killed by the mutators, there should still be about billions of them remaining.
The mutators often goes to a continent to hunt the Fallens because of three reasons, the first reason is to eliminate the Fallens to retrieve a continent, second is for the fallen's blood, it can be used to research the fallens origin, and lastly the fallen's soul core, after mutating, a core replaced the heart, that core is the source of a fallen's supernatural power, if absorbed by a mutator, they can gain that fallen's power, or they can just sell it, as one could cost a billion. A munator doesn't have a core as their heart also returns when they get turn back to their human selves.

"Hello! Big bro! Im back with Mom and Dad."
A girl said as she opened the door.
It was Ji with their parents, visiting Jae in a hospital. Jae still hasn't woken up, and in a state of coma.
"Jae..."
Jae's Father said with a sad expression, looking at his once cheerful son, wearing a hospital gown, using a respirator to breathe and is unable to wake up.
The Mother sat down on the chair next to Jae.
"Wake up already son, we missed you."
Jae's Mother said, faintly smiling, holding Jae's hand.
"They say the chance of him ever waking up is zero, but still, I believe our son will wake up..."
Jae's Father said with a worried face.
'Wake up soon Big bro..',
Ji said in her mind, smiling gently.
Time flies and its already mid night, The lights are off, and only Jae is inside his hospital room.
'Beepp Beeppp Beepppp'
The sound of a machine that displays the heartrate of a person, signaling that Jae's heartrate has reached zero.
The sound echoed within the silent hospital.
"Emergency! Emergency! The ECG(Electocardiogram) Machine emergency siren has been activated in room 116!"
The sound of the nurses and doctors footsteps hurrying to room 116 as a patients life is in danger, but to their surprise, what they see after entering room 116 is not a patient in death's door, but a healthy patient sitting and looking at them with cold eyes.
In disbelief, the nurses and doctors looked at the ECG, and it still shows that the patient's heartrate has reached zero.
"Doc, what's happening, the patient should be dying right now, that should be the case yet he's completely... fine?.."
One of the nurse asked in disbelief.
"M-maybe the ecg is broken.."
The other nurse said.
"That can't be, throughout my entire career as a doctor, The ecg never made an error.."
The Doctor said
"Well theres a first to everything, we should deliver the good news to his family first, the kid just did the impossible after all, his recovery deserves a celebration right, Dr. Joseph?."
The other Doctor replied.
"Yes you're right Dr. Philip, we should worry about the ECG later."
Dr. Joseph said while dialing a number on the telephone.

"You died."
An echoing voice said, talking to Jae inside a void of nothingness.
"What? Who was that? Where am I? There's only white everywhere I look?",
Jae said, confused,
"Im sure the monster stabbed me and I probably died right there, so, is this the otherworld? It's way different than I thought. Wait, my litte sister Ji! Theres no way she can escape from that monster, fuck! I can't die! I need t-".
Jae got interrupted, as he suddenly heard a voice again.
"Don't worry, you still have a chance of saving your sister."
A voice said,
"That voice again, who are you? What do you mean by I can still save my sister, please tell me, I will do anything if it means saving Ji!"
Jae said with determination.
"Alright, I like your eyes. All you need to do is to mutate. If you were able to mutate despite dying, then I shall give you my power. Become me, and I shall become you."
The voice said.
"Allright then! I'm confident I can do it. What do I need to do to mutate?"
Jae asked,
"I don't know."
the voice replied.
"..."
Jae staring at the void, with an expressionless face.
"What?"
The voice said.
