Emily woke up to the sound of seagulls outside her window. She stretched her arms and yawned, feeling the softness of the bed beneath her. She looked around the room, taking in the beautiful decor and the stunning view of the ocean.
Ryan was nowhere to be found, but Emily knew that he was probably out getting breakfast or exploring the surrounding area. She got out of bed and began to get ready for the day, her mind wandering back to the previous night's events.
As she brushed her teeth, Emily couldn't help but think about the way Ryan had looked at her. The way he had held her hand, the way he had kissed her. She felt a flutter in her chest as she remembered the way he had made her feel.
After getting dressed, Emily made her way downstairs to the kitchen. Ryan was sitting at the table, sipping a cup of coffee and staring out the window.
"Good morning," Emily said, walking over to him and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Ryan turned to her and smiled. "Good morning," he replied, pulling her into his lap.
Emily sat down, wrapping her arms around his waist. "What are you thinking about?" she asked, looking into his eyes.
Ryan's expression turned serious. "I was just thinking about the past," he said. "About how much has changed since we first met."
Emily nodded, understanding where he was coming from. "I know what you mean," she said. "It feels like a lifetime ago that we first met on the beach."
Ryan smiled, his eyes sparkling with memories. "It was a lifetime ago," he said. "But it feels like just yesterday that I first saw you, walking along the shore with your hair blowing in the wind."
Emily's heart skipped a beat as she remembered that day. She had been so lost, so unsure of what the future held. But then she had met Ryan, and everything had changed.
As they sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, Emily knew that she would never forget that day. She would never forget the way Ryan had made her feel, the way he had changed her life forever.
"Let's go for a walk," Ryan said, breaking the silence.
Emily nodded, smiling. "I'd love to," she said.
They walked hand in hand, the sun shining down on them. They walked along the beach, the waves crashing against the shore. They walked, lost in their own little world of memories and love.
As they walked, Emily knew that she would always cherish this moment. She would always remember the way Ryan had looked at her, the way he had held her hand. She would always remember the love that they shared, the love that had brought them together on this beautiful beach, surrounded by the memories of their past.
