Unreadable

Darius and Theo were surprised to see so many people waiting for them there but Theo was already sure that they would be there since the Ghastly Ghouls left and he was also sure that they were going to use it as leverage to make money from the association. 

"You were not wrong when you said that they would be here waiting for us to come out but now I have one question." Darius was looking around, he didn't know what the people there would say but he was sure that they were all trying to find out one thing. 

"How are we going to get past them?" He was looking at Theo, he knew that he was going to have an idea in his head there. 

Theo was looking at Darius with a smile on his face, he knew something like this was bound to happen since they had seen two monsters that were not meant to be in a D ranked in there. "If I am not mistaken, the association would have someone as an official here trying to find out what is going on and how an uncharted dungeon appeared from a D-rank dungeon so we might meet someone soon or get a call soon enough." 

Theo was stopped halfway when they saw two men with suits coming their way. It was like they were waiting for them to come out of the dungeon. 

Liu and Keith walked towards the duo, they were relieved to see them there and it would mean that they had faced something in that dungeon that was meant to kill them but they survived. 

"Theo Sung, Darius Winters," Liu called out for the both of them, the two turned to look at him. 

"If you don't mind can we have a word with the both of you?" He smiled, he was not trying to put them on guard or anything but it was clear if he was not calm with them then it was not going to be a fruitful journey and that was the last thing he wanted. 

Theo turned to Darius and gave him a nod, he was sure that it was going to be hard to avoid the questions and he was also going to be in the middle of something big. 

"Yes, we don't mind," Theo answered looking at the man coming towards him, he could only imagine what was going to be the questions. 

"Firstly we want to apologize for the misreading of the dungeon you must understand that it read as a D-ranked Dungeon before we gave the order out." Keith apologized, he was trying to make sure that they paid their respects. "Now please if you don't mind, what monster did you face inside the dungeon?" 

"It was a Blue Kamuri Cobra," Theo answered, he was looking at Keith and he could see the look in his eyes. It was as he suspected, they were shocked that an A-ranked and F-ranked warrior could take down something that strong. 

"And you managed to make it out alive, both of you are remarkable." Liu smiled, he was surprised to see that they were barely wounded but his whole focus was on Darius, he wanted to see what the warrior would say. 

"Nah, Theo did most of the work I only helped out," Darius replied with a goofy smile on his face. 

Liu couldn't help but smile back, he was not sure if he was going to get anything from checking Darius. 

'Something about this warrior seems off, I do not know what but it feels like he is just looking at us like fools and this is not something I normally feel around other warriors but he is like a different type of warrior,' 

Liu was looking at Darius, he could tell any warrior's rank using his abilities. He was looking at Darius and he felt a glitch like something was blocking him from seeing Darius' abilities. 

'What is going on here? Why can't I read his rank?' Liu thought to himself as he tried again, he was going to make sure that he was going to read his rank and then he would know what they were dealing with. 

Liu activated his ability again, focusing all his energy on Darius he didn't want to lose anything. But this time he saw something, he smiled bracing himself to see if he would see the rank. 

But the next minute, Liu held his head in pain. He was looking down holding in the urge to throw up. 

Keith, who had been talking to Theo, noticed Liu was about to fall he held him before he did. 

"What is wrong, are you okay?!" Keith was looking at his partner, he was not sure what was going on. 

"I'm fine, it's fine." Liu smiled, he didn't want anything to startle Keith there or cause any trouble. 

Keith noticed that Liu was tired, he knew he had used his abilities but then it didn't leave him in a state like this. 

He turned to Theo and Darius, with a smile on his face. 

"I would love to talk to both of you later, I have to make sure that everything is fine with him." Keith helped Liu to the side, as the warriors took their leave. 

Keith was looking at Liu, and could tell something happened when he used his abilities on Darius. 

"Tell me what happened. I have seen you check even Archon rank warriors and you stood still. So why are you sweating when it's this F rank." 

Liu was still trying to get his head back in the game. He turned to look at Keith, there was a look of pure fear in his eyes. 

"That's the point, I have checked different warriors and they were all responding well. But when I checked him the first time, I couldn't read it. So I checked again but this time I broke through and there was something there…" Liu clenched his fists, his breath uneven as sweat dripped down from his fore head. 

"What did you see Liu?" Keith was looking at him, he was worried that it was majorly bad. 

Liu let out a sigh, he then turned to Keith. "That warrior has a dragon protecting his rank, not just any kind of dragon this looks like a Nationwide threat." 

Keith could see why Liu was in so much distress, he didn't know what he saw but with that explanation. 

"You're telling me that he is something else? But he didn't feel like a high-ranked warrior, he still felt like an F rank." 

"That's the tricky part, Keith," Liu was looking at his partner, his eyes could show the fear he had. "I think he is still awakening his powers. We have to keep a close tab on him, I don't know why but I feel like if we toy with him. Not even all the SS-rank in Creston would be able to save us from him." 

Keith was shocked to hear Liu drop a warning like that.

He didn't need anyone to tell him that they had just discovered an anomaly.

Theo and Darius headed for the Lobby when they were done with Keith and Liu, although it was not clear why they had that sort of conversation with them. 

"It was a bit strange how they ended the conversation if you ask me, they didn't even bother more about you and for some reason, I think Liu was exhausted." 

"I was even worried he would ask what was in the bag, well at least I know I am going to be selling this for more money." Darius had a weird smile on his face, he didn't know what he was going to get from the red cobra core but he was beyond excited. 

Theo was looking at Darius, he didn't know what he was going to say to thank him enough. If he wasn't there then he would have died the moment he was thrown in there. 

Darius noticed Theo looking at him, he was puzzled but he decided to keep it cool with him. 

"Are you okay?" Darius asked, he wanted to know what was going on in his head. 

Theo smiled and scratched his head, he was not used to thanking warriors like that it was usually the other way round. "No, I just wanted to thank you for saving me. If you weren't there then I would have died the moment I was shot into that place." 

"Pfft, you can thank me with a bowl of chicken breasts." Darius smiled as Theo laughed a bit too. 

They got to the lobby, and almost immediately Darius' mood changed. 

"Darius, what's wrong?" Theo was looking at him when he slowly turned front to see the reason for his anger. 

The ghastly ghouls were still there and they were trying to get paid for their supposed demise. 

The lobby head saw Theo and Darius, and a smile formed on her face. "Why isn't that the people you were along with for the raid? They are back!" 

Nathan Cruz turned his head to see if it was true and there in front of him stood the two men he thought he had killed.
