Episode - 2 The Final Showdown

The city night was cloaked in darkness like a black veil. Under the dim glow of the streetlights, James stood silently on a rooftop, watching the streets below. The cold night air brushed against his cheek, but his gaze remained razor-sharp.

Six months. He had spent half a year hunting Liam, only to have him slip away at the last moment. But this time was different. According to his informants, Liam was here. There was nowhere left to run, nowhere left to hide.

James adjusted the tactical vest over his black combat gear. Standing at 6'3" with a body sculpted by years of rigorous training, he was a living weapon. His time in the military had honed him into a master of Muay Thai, Taekwondo, and boxing. Every muscle in his body was coiled with power, ready to strike.

In the distance, an engine rumbled. A black SUV rolled to a stop in front of the building, and the door swung open. A man stepped out slowly.

Liam.

He looked rougher than before. The lines on his face had deepened, and though his body was still solidly built, there was an air of weariness about him. He was strong, no doubt—but James knew the truth. Liam was no match for him.

Liam stepped out of the dark alley, a sly smirk curling on his lips.

"Kept me waiting, James."

James didn't move, his gaze locked onto Liam's. His eyes were cold, like those of a predator.

"This time, you're not getting away."

Liam scoffed. "We'll see about that."

A heavy silence settled between them, charged with tension.

It was time to end this, once and for all.

James finally came face-to-face with his long-time enemy, Liam.

Liam approached slowly, his footsteps deliberate and heavy, exuding an intimidating presence. It was obvious that a fight was about to erupt. But James didn't budge. Having fought countless battles without ever tasting defeat, he didn't consider Liam a serious threat.

However, Liam wasn't like the others. He knew he could never beat James in a direct confrontation.

But that didn't mean he was weak. A former Marine, with years of honed Muay Thai skills. And most importantly—he had a plan.

Liam stopped in front of James, his expression calm. James found his confidence a bit odd, but knowing he had the advantage in strength, he showed no hesitation.

"James, we don't have to do this," Liam said softly, a sly smile playing on his lips.

"I don't know what they paid you, but I could offer you twice that amount."

"Cut the crap, and fight me."

James was ready to throw down, but Liam casually flashed a grin before speaking again.

"By the way, I heard you're married. Got any kids yet?"

James raised an eyebrow.

"Are you planning to kidnap them or something? Thankfully, not yet," he replied sharply.

Liam's smile deepened, his eyes gleaming with malice.

Then—

Thud! Thud!

James was hit with two brutal blows to his ribs, each one landing with crushing force. His body wavered, and a sharp pain shot through him, making it hard to breathe.

Something was wrong.

A warning blared in James's mind, but it was too late.

Liam was already on top of him, moving in lightning speed. His left hand grabbed James's throat while his right hand shot straight for his balls.

And—

"Gah!"

The pressure on James's balls was excruciating.

Instinctively, he reached down to pull Liam's hand away, but it was useless. His arms were pinned down by another pair of hands behind him—another mercenary, even bigger and stronger than James.

It was a perfect ambush.

Liam grinned, tightening his grip.

"Now, your life is in my hands."

James felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead. No matter how tough you were, an attack to the balls always brought overwhelming pain.

Liam's pressure increased, squeezing James's throat harder to stop him from headbutting him. The giant mercenary lifted James into the air, blocking any attempt at a retaliatory kick.

James had no choice but to struggle helplessly in mid-air.

But Liam wasn't done.

"Ready for some real fun?"

He squeezed even harder.

"Aaah!"

James screamed in agony, his body trembling.

Even though the pain was almost unbearable, he fought with every ounce of strength to break free, but his body was growing weaker. Liam smirked as he whispered,

"You're starting to give in, aren't you? But we're still not done."

Liam's grip on James tightened even further, his hands becoming more brutal.

"I tried to make this easy for you, but you rejected it."

James's entire body was shaking. He had to escape.

"Liam... Hold on... Let's talk about that deal again."

Liam sneered.

"That deal? Sorry, it's too late."

With a wicked smile, Liam squeezed the balls even harder, twisting his grip.

Crunch.

James's eyes bulged in horror as the sharp pain overwhelmed him.

His body spasmed uncontrollably, his breath caught in his throat. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.

His vision went black.

Liam finally released his grip, letting James's lifeless body fall to the ground.

There were no visible wounds, but James's life was over.

Liam let out a sigh, wiping his hands off.

"The legend is finished."

And with that, he disappeared into the darkness
