At Least For Tonight

For three days, Samantha had been avoiding Sean. Whenever he was in the house, she would retreat to her room, locking herself away. But her resolve to stay hidden didn’t last long. The gnawing hunger in her stomach eventually forced her out. Carefully, she opened the door, glancing left and right to ensure no one was around—especially Sean, who had a habit of appearing out of nowhere.

Once she was certain the house was empty, she stepped out, breathing a sigh of relief. She wanted to stay hidden, but her body demanded sustenance. Ignoring the rapid pounding of her heart, she headed to the kitchen, intending to cook something quick and simple.

The quiet house offered her a momentary peace. For a brief moment, she could pretend that her life was still normal—that she wasn’t trapped in a situation with no way out. As she cooked, she turned on some music from her phone, letting the melody fill the air. Unconsciously, she began to hum, her body swaying gently to the rhythm.

But she had forgotten one thing—Sean was never far away.

Samantha didn’t notice his presence until a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind. His breath brushed against her neck, sending shivers of heat coursing through her body.

She froze, her heart racing.

“Sean, what are you doing?!” she cried, panic lacing her voice as her body stiffened in his embrace.

Sean chuckled, his voice low and teasing. “Just enjoy it, sweetheart.”

His arms tightened, locking her in place. Samantha tried to pull away, but it was futile.

“Let me go, Sean. Please.”

He leaned down, his lips grazing her ear. “This is your fault, Sam. You shouldn’t have been swaying like that... making me want you even more.”

“Sean, don’t do this. We can’t… this is wrong,” Samantha protested weakly, though her body betrayed her resolve.

But the more she resisted, the more Sean seemed to lose control. His breath hitched as his lips began to explore her neck, igniting sensations that shattered her defenses. She bit her lip, trying to stay composed, but her body betrayed her.

In one swift motion, Sean lifted her onto the kitchen counter. Samantha stared at him wide-eyed, but before she could protest, his lips were on hers.

She should have pushed him away. She should have told him this was wrong. But why was her heart pounding so wildly? Why did his touch still make her tremble?

For so long, she had fought her feelings. For so long, she had convinced herself that Sean was just a man taking advantage of her weakness. But now, all her resolve crumbled.

Samantha finally gave in. She kissed him back, letting herself drown in the whirlwind of emotions she both hated and longed for.

Between their heated kisses, Sean smirked, his eyes gleaming with triumph. “Let’s finish this in the bedroom.”

His voice was rough with desire. Samantha held her breath, her eyes filled with uncertainty. She knew what was coming. She knew she should stop. But her body didn’t move, and her lips uttered no words of refusal.

Sean scooped her up in his arms, carrying her to the bedroom with an unreadable expression. Samantha closed her eyes, overwhelmed by the storm of conflicting emotions.

As her body hit the bed, Sean began to explore every inch of her skin, his touch a mix of tenderness and burning desire. Each caress felt like both punishment and reward.

Samantha bit her lip, trying to stifle her moans, but she couldn’t. “Aaah… Sean.”

Her breathing grew ragged. Samantha was just as consumed by passion as Sean.

Her eyes welled up with tears. She knew why she had given in. She knew why she hadn’t refused.

Because she needed Sean.

Not out of love. Not out of longing.

But for money.

She hated to admit it, but that was the truth. Her father, Samuel, had been in a coma for over a year following an accident. All their family’s wealth had been drained by medical bills. Their house, cars, savings—everything had been sold to cover the hospital expenses.

Now, Sean was the only one who could help her. And in return, she had to satisfy the wild desires of her brother-in-law.

And the truth was, Sean knew it.

He knew Samantha was here not out of love, but out of necessity. And deep down, he hated that reality.

But if this was the only way to keep her by his side, he would accept it.

He wanted her, no matter the cost.

Samantha looked at Sean with eyes full of conflict. This wasn’t the first time they had been intimate. In fact, it was Sean who had taken her innocence. And in his eyes, he could see everything—her sadness, her regret, and the love that still lingered.

“Don’t overthink it, sweetheart…” he whispered, gently brushing her cheek. “Tonight, I just want you to be mine. That’s all.” His fingers traced every curve of her body.

Samantha closed her eyes, letting her tears fall. What else could she do? She had no other choice. She remembered five years ago, when they would make love anywhere, anytime, always consumed by their passion.

She knew this was wrong. She knew she would hate herself tomorrow.

But for tonight, she would let herself indulge in the forbidden desires of their twisted love, even if it wasn’t the same as it once was.

Yes, she hoped that the

y were still the same Samantha and Sean from before.

At least, for tonight.
