"A Devil Fruit is a mystical fruit from a world of pirates. Whoever eats it gains a special ability."
Naruto perked up instantly. "A special ability?!"
"Yes," Haruto nodded, "but not all Devil Fruits are the same. They are classified into three types—Paramecia, Logia, and Zoan."
He pointed at the fruit in his hand.
"This one is a Paramecia-type fruit: The Shadow-Shadow Fruit."
Ino folded her arms. "Shadow? That's definitely fitting for Shikamaru."
Chōji, munching on chips, nodded in agreement. "Yeah, he already has Shadow Possession Jutsu. This should be perfect for him."
Haruto smirked.
"You're right. This fruit's ability allows the user to manipulate shadows freely. It enhances all shadow-based techniques to a terrifying degree."
Sasuke leaned forward, intrigued.
"Explain."
Haruto continued:
1. "You can cut an enemy's shadow and control them as if they were a puppet."
2. "You can implant shadows into corpses, creating obedient zombie warriors."
3. "The strength of these zombies will depend on the original owner of the shadow, retaining their combat power and instincts."
The room fell dead silent.
Then—
"WHAT?!" Naruto jumped back. "You can rip off people's shadows?! That's insane!"
Sasuke's expression darkened.
"That ability… it's not just strong—it's broken."
Haruto smirked.
"That's not all. The Shadow-Shadow Fruit allows further enhancements in combat, movement, and even defense. Its true strength depends on how well it is developed."
Shikamaru scratched the back of his head.
"Tch… sounds like a pain."
Despite his lazy demeanor, his mind was already racing.
This wasn't just an enhancement to his Shadow Possession Jutsu—it was a complete revolution in how he could fight.
He could control dozens of enemies at once.
He could create undead shadow warriors.
