I flew into the air and fell , hitting one of the pillars in the office. I hit my head, and I could tell from the feeling of warm liquid that I was bleeding. My vision started getting blurry. I blacked out.

"Honey , eat the pie before you go!" Mom always tried to make sure I ate . "I'm late mom! Bye!" I was running out to get to my car when I realized that my keys were missing. "Dad ! did AJ take my car again?" This habit of my brother was getting more frustrating with each passing day. "I think he did... Just let him off the hook this time , alright?" That's what he said every single time...
I was a dream come true to my parents. The understanding child. The kid who never complained , even if she disagreed with their words and decisions. Watching my elder sister being called difficult just because she stated her own opinions , I had learned to shut myself up . Always smiling , agreeing to whatever they wanted me to do , even if I didn't like it. Over time , I had accepted the fact that they were just getting old.... they wouldn't knowingly make decisions to make our lives difficult now , would they?
I didn't even take the pie mom made me. I had run out for work because I was late. No family is perfect . Mine wasn't either , but I had good times with them. And now that they weren't next to me , I was starting to regret the things I hadn't done with them before....
They have to survive.

A fire had broke out. The smell of burning furniture and electronics woke me up. My vision was still blurry. My body felt ten times more heavier.... I couldn't move much. I was still bleeding , and fire was getting closer and closer by each passing second. I looked around to find the red haired guy being engulfed by the fire. There was no saving him now. I had to save myself. Gathering up all the strength I had left , I made a run for it.
Rushing out with blurry vision wasn't exactly easy. Running into the simplest of things just because I couldn't balance myself and walk straight wasn't on my bucket list. At last , I made it outside the building. I was safe now , wasn't I? Did the 24 the voice said to be "safe" still have some time left?
I didn't know if I'd make it to the manor, but it never hurt to try. But then, won't they ask me where the red headed guy was at? Just as I was thinking about how to explain the situation to the other survivors , a globe of fire ran out of the office building. The height and build told me it was indeed the red headed guy. The fire probably woke him up too late.
He was coming for me , like a bull. It seemed his aim wasn't to save himself , but to take me down with him. Even though my head injury was starting to hurt , my vision was starting to get better. I would have to make a run for it ....... again.
Before I did start running though, something else happened. The beast , Ivory Fangdrift, made it's appearance . It wasn't one , but five of them together this time. The voice that I had heard before began speaking again. "Welcome to Level One of 'The Games'. Goal: Defeat all presented beasts. Reward: not disclosed. good luck players !"
I'm gonna die.
