Chapter Fifteen: Information

My family were notorious information keepers. They absorbed knowledge from everything and everyone, storing it meticulously. Keeping track of this information was crucial to their collection.

And so, from a young age, they taught me to do the same.

After every few chapters, I will write down any useful information I gather—about monsters, people, anything. If I ever need it, I'll know where to find it.

So, this is my first entry…

Vampires:

Strong, quick, tough—practically immortal.

All the myths? Wooden stakes, garlic, crosses? Lies. The only way to kill a vampire is with a weapon so holy or so evil that it cuts through their unnatural existence. But cutting off their heads works just fine.

Vampires create more of their kind by biting mortals and draining them. A newly turned vampire is a mindless slave to the one who turned them—unless the original vampire allows them free will or is killed.

No cure exists for vampirism.

They must drink blood to survive—any blood, not just human. But human blood? It tastes better.

The myths say they can turn into mist, fly, teleport—but as far as I know? More lies.

Lastly, Dead Man's Blood.Blood from a corpse (dead 24+ hours for best effect). It weakens them, like poison. A vampire drenched in it is as slow and fragile as any human.

The Fey:

A subclass of elves—the strongest subclass.

They are dumb. Not intelligent, not wise. But tricky, cunning, and dangerous.

To them, the world is a game. They act like six-year-olds, laughing even as you scream.

Their magic is always on. They cannot control it. It's so strong it bends reality itself—it can create and destroy life. But it can never bring it back.

Their only weakness? Iron.It burns them, melts their flesh. Kills them.

The Fey are trapped in a place called the Feywild—a magic forest outside of time and space. Anyone lost in grief might find themselves there.

They don't mean harm—but they don't understand how fragile humans are.

All Fey are called Yuri.Except one: The Chief.

The Chief can change the rules. Rewrite the very fabric of the Feywild.

Kill the Chief, and you become the Chief.

Kill any other Fey? You might end up worse than dead.

Never answer their questions without thinking first. One wrong word, and your life is over.

Gods:

Beings beyond mortals.

Some gods have their own realms—like the Underworld or Faia's Garden. Some control aspects of life—luck, heat, war. Some are just known for mischief.

Gods are immortal… mostly. They can age and die, but unlike mortals, they can always be revivedunless their soul is destroyed.

They cannot be harmed unless by powerful magic or godly weapons.

There are rumors of divine darkness weapons that can kill gods permanently—but no one has seen them in millennia. Could just be a myth.

Loki, God of Mischief:

Cocky. Arrogant. Always finds a way to stay on top.

The worst kind of god.

His power? Illusions.

If you want to kill him, it shouldn't be too hard.

There are many spells, sigils, and runes to trap, summon, or command gods—but they were lost when my family's house burned.

I don't have them.

Yet.
