THE HANDSOME CEO FELL IN LOVE WITH ME
Chapter 3: The coffee date
As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I felt a sense of happiness and contentment that I had never felt before. It was as if the whole world had come alive, and anything was possible.
Ethan pulled away from me and looked into my eyes. "I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy, Emily," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
I smiled, feeling my heart overflow with love. "I want that too, Ethan," I replied.
Ethan took my hand and led me back to the car. We drove in silence, the only sound being the soft hum of the engine. But I didn't need words to know how Ethan felt. I could see it in his eyes, feel it in his touch.
When we arrived at my apartment, Ethan walked me to the door and turned to face me. "I'll call you tomorrow, okay?" he said, his eyes locked on mine.
I nodded, feeling a sense of anticipation. What would tomorrow bring?
As I watched Ethan walk back to his car, I couldn't help but feel grateful. Grateful for this chance at love, grateful for Ethan.
I went to bed that night with a smile on my face, feeling happier than I had in years.
The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and excited. I knew that today was going to be a great day.
As I got ready for work, my phone rang. It was Ethan.
"Hey, beautiful," he said, his voice low and husky. "I was thinking, how about we grab lunch today?"
I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I'd love to," I replied.
We made plans to meet at a nearby café, and I spent the rest of the morning counting down the minutes until I could see Ethan again.
When we met for lunch, Ethan was even more charming and handsome than I remembered. We talked and laughed, enjoying each other's company, and I knew that I was falling deeper and deeper in love with him.
As we finished our lunch and prepared to part ways, Ethan took my hand and looked into my eyes. "I have a surprise for you tonight," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
My heart skipped a beat as I wondered what the surprise could be. "What is it?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.
Ethan just smiled and leaned in to kiss me. "You'll have to wait and see," he said, his voice low and husky.
I smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. What did Ethan have planned for me?
As I watched him walk away, I couldn't help but feel grateful. Grateful for this chance at love, grateful for Ethan.
And I knew that tonight was going to be a night to remember.
As the sun began to set, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. What did Ethan have planned for me?
I went about my day, trying to focus on work and other tasks, but my mind kept wandering back to Ethan and the surprise he had in store for me.
Finally, the clock struck 5, and I was able to leave work. I rushed home, took a quick shower, and got dressed in a beautiful red dress that Ethan had once complimented me on.
As I looked in the mirror, I felt a sense of confidence and beauty. I knew that Ethan loved me for who I was, but it didn't hurt to look nice for him.
Just as I was finishing up my hair, the doorbell rang. I smiled, knowing that it was Ethan. I took a deep breath, grabbed my purse, and made my way to the door.
When I opened it, Ethan was standing there, looking more handsome than ever. He was wearing a black suit, and his eyes sparkled with excitement.
"Wow, you look stunning," he said, taking my hand and pulling me close.
I blushed, feeling a sense of gratitude and love. "Thanks, Ethan. You don't look so bad yourself."
Ethan smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm glad you approve," he said, leaning in to kiss me.
As we pulled away, Ethan took my hand and led me to the car. "So, are you ready for your surprise?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. "I was born ready," I said, smiling.
Ethan chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I like your attitude," he said, leaning in to kiss me again.
As we drove through the city, I couldn't help but wonder what Ethan had planned for me. Was it a romantic dinner? A weekend getaway? Or something more?
I didn't have to wait long to find out. Ethan pulled up to a beautiful lake, and I could see a boat waiting for us at the dock.
"Is this the surprise?" I asked, feeling a sense of excitement and wonder.
Ethan nodded, smiling. "This is just the beginning," he said, taking my hand and leading me to the boat.
As we set off across the lake, I felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the water.
Ethan put his arm around me, pulling me close. "I'm so glad you're here with me," he said, his voice low and husky.
I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude and love. "I'm glad I'm here too," I said, leaning into his chest.
As we glided across the lake, I knew that this was a night I would never forget. The stars were shining, the water was calm, and I was with the man I loved.
But little did I know, the night was only just beginning. Ethan had a few more surprises up his sleeve, and I was in for the ride of my life.
