Run Subaru

It was winter in the Roswaal Machine, as the year was coming too an end, as outside playing in the snow was Meili and Lucifer as they were playing with Otto, as it could have been peaceful day.

Subaru ran out the Machine with that do angry Emilia, Elsa, Ram and Rem on his track, reason Volume 4 of Naruto came out and that it where the story ended unthle Shippuden was gonna pick, or in this case Volume 2.

Emilia then spoke as she looked at Subaru. "Why did make Sasuke almost killed Naruto ssn leave the village and join Orochimaru, the moon kingdom arc showed he was getting better".

Subaru kept running, dodging snowballs that were definitely not just snow, considering how much force Emilia was putting into them. "It's called story progression, Emilia! If Sasuke just stayed in the village, we wouldn't have Shippuden!"

Elsa, keeping pace with terrifying ease, smirked. "I don't know, Subaru, if someone tried to kill me after spending so much time together, I'd have to return the favor~"

Rem, usually the voice of reason, was gripping her flail. "Subaru, why must you write such heartbreaking tales? Naruto fought so hard for Sasuke, yet he still left."

Ram just sighed. "Barusu, you continue to amaze me with your ability to annoy everyone at once."

Subaru knew there was no way he could reason with them right now. Instead, he called upon [Shadow Travel] and disappeared into the shadows. His voice echoed as he left, "Just wait for Shippuden! I promise it'll be worth it!"

Silence. The group stopped running.

Emilia pouted. "…He better fix this."

Elsa licked her lips. "If he doesn't, I might just have to 'convince' him."

Ram smirked. "Good. Let's let him think he's safe."

Rem simply sighed, watching the snow fall, as Meili and Lucifer giggled in the distance, completely unaware of the chaos about to ensue.

Beatrice then walked out holding Volume 2 of Shadow Slave. "And that is why Subaru other work Shadow Slave is better".

Everyone turned to Beatrice, who was holding Shadow Slave, Volume 2 like it was the holy grail. She adjusted her grip and smugly flipped through the pages.

Emilia frowned. "Beatrice, how is Shadow Slave better?"

Beatrice huffed. "Because, I suppose, it actually respects its protagonist's struggles. Unlike in Naruto, where the main character chases after a guy who clearly doesn't want to be there, Shadow Slave actually focuses on growth, strategy, and earning power. Unlike Sasuke, the protagonist doesn't get handed everything just because of his bloodline, I suppose."

Subaru, still hiding in the shadows, muttered, "Ouch. That's a direct hit to the Uchiha fans."

Ram, intrigued, took the book from Beatrice and skimmed a few pages. "Hmm. The writing is decent. Barusu, when did you even have time to write this?"

Subaru emerged from the shadows with a smug grin. "Ah, Ram, the real question is: when don't I have time?"

Elsa tilted her head. "So… which one has more blood and betrayal?"

Subaru blinked. "Uh… depends on what you count as betrayal?"

Meili giggled. "I just like how all the monsters in Shadow Slave are super creepy!"

Lucifer chimed in. "Big brother told me the main character is really smart!"

Rem sighed, flipping between Naruto and Shadow Slave. "So… which one do we prioritize reading tonight?"

Beatrice smirked. "Easy. Shadow Slave, obviously."

Emilia crossed her arms. "Not until we get answers about Naruto and Sasuke!"

Subaru groaned. "Ahhh, this is why I don't do book club nights anymore…"

Otto then spoke as he was holding lot of snow ball, as he spoke. "I finally am getting used too madness in this house after staying for few months".

Subaru then looked at him. "How is you bad luck"..

Otto then spoke. "Good, I haven't had anything unlucky happen too me in Wh-".

Then a bunch of Meili Mabeast who gri free from the cages ran all over Otto, as Roswaal chase after then too put them back into the cages, they may be the Manchine squirt but this is winter they can't survive the cold.

Subaru smirked as he watched Otto get trampled by a horde of panicked Mabeasts. "Ah, classic Otto. You were saying something about good luck?"

Otto groaned from under a pile of fur and claws. "I swear I was just starting to think this house wasn't cursed!"

Meili giggled, standing next to Lucifer. "Oops~ Looks like I forgot to lock the cage properly."

Roswaal, chasing after the Mabeasts in a surprisingly elegant sprint, called out, "Tsk tsk, Meiliii~ You must be more careful! Our fluffy friends cannot survive the winter chill, hoo~"

Subaru crossed his arms. "Right, so do we help Otto, or…?"

Beatrice flipped a page in Shadow Slave. "I suppose he'll be fine."

Ram sipped her tea. "He needs to build resistance to his own misfortune."

Emilia smiled awkwardly. "Um… I'll go help?"

Elsa shrugged. "I think we should let nature take its course."

Rem, ever the kind one, sighed and walked toward Otto. "Let's at least dig him out before he freezes."

Subaru nodded. "Alright, alright. But after that, we still need to settle the Naruto vs Shadow Slave debate."

Otto, still buried under Mabeasts, muffled out, "WHY IS THAT STILL A DISCUSSION? JUST HELP ME ALREADY!"

In the Roswaal Machine, as Otto was under a lot of blankets and near the fire site

Elsa looked as he spoke. "So are we gonna have the Snow Memory Festival again".

Otto blineked looking at him. "Snow Memory".

Subaru looked at as he spoke. "Long story short something we had when Puck had his magic release period, we decided to again this time in the end of the year".

Otto nodded slowly, still warming up under the blankets. "I see... So it's just a festival you guys made up?"

Emilia smiled. "Not exactly! It's more like a tradition now. Since Puck's magic release would always cover everything in snow, we decided to make the most of it."

Beatrice, sipping tea, added, "It's an event filled with food, games, and of course, a big snowball fight, I suppose."

Elsa smirked. "And last time, Subaru barely survived Ram's attacks."

Ram closed her eyes with a proud smirk. "Hmph. It's not my fault Barusu is weak."

Subaru crossed his arms. "It's called strategy, Ram. I let you win."

Rem tilted her head. "That's not how I remember it, Subaru-kun."

Lucifer then spoke up excitedly. "So that means we're doing it again?"

Meili grinned. "This time, I'll have my Mabeasts on my team!"

Roswaal chuckled. "Hooo~ That sounds… unfair, does it not?"

Subaru raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, pretty sure that's cheating."

Meili pouted. "Fine, no Mabeasts. But I'm still gonna win!"

Otto, now looking more alive, sighed. "As long as I don't end up buried in snow again, I guess I'll join."

Subaru smirked. "Then it's settled. The Snow Memory Festival is happening again!"

Elsa looked at everyone. "I mean it just the Roswaal Machine and the Villager, it not like we are gonna have some unexpected guest".

They had Unexpected Guest, who where these Unexpected Guests the other royal Candidates and there most trusted knight. As the day calibration happened, Ans Halibal and Shaule

Ram then spoken. "Ok who invented".

Crusch then spoken. "I was invited, once again thank you Subaru".

Felt who was with Reinhard Spoken. "Me and Reinhard can too see the progression of Volume 5 of Naruto and Volume 3 of shadow Slave is doing".

Anastasia then spoke. "I came too thank too Subaru about the distribution problem I am having Shadow Slave".

Priscilla then spoke as she moved her fan next to her was Al. "I heard the Roswaal Machine was having a celebration".

Subaru looked at all the unexpected guests and sighed. "Welp, there goes the peaceful festival."

Emilia blinked in surprise. "Subaru... did you actually invite them?"

Subaru scratched the back of his head. "Crusch and Anastasia, yeah. Felt... well, I should've seen that coming. As for Priscilla... uh..."

Priscilla smirked, elegantly fanning herself. "Do you take me for a woman who requires an invitation?"

Al chuckled. "Yeah, boss just decided to crash the party."

Ram rubbed her temples. "This is becoming a royal meeting instead of a festival."

Beatrice, sipping her tea, sighed. "Honestly, I should have expected this, I suppose."

Halibal and Shaule, who were just arriving, looked at the gathering. Halibal sighed. "So this is what we're walking into?"

Shaule grinned. "Well, at least it won't be boring."

Subaru took a deep breath and clapped his hands together. "Alright, everyone! Whether you were invited or not, welcome to the Snow Memory Festival! Let's have fun and not turn this into political negotiations, okay?"

Crusch chuckled. "Fair enough."

Felt smirked. "As long as I get my books, I'm good."

Anastasia adjusted her scarf. "As long as business talk stays off-limits for today, I'll play along."

Priscilla flicked her fan. "Very well. Entertain me, Commoner."

Subaru groaned. "Why do I feel like this is going to be exhausting?"

Subaru then looked at Halibal and Shaule. "You guys go and will catch up".

Everyone went, as Subaru looked at both them as he wishper. "If you two are here, and me also here, who overseeing the Witch's Hand".

Halibal smirked as he crossed his arms. "Relax, boss. We left someone capable in charge."

Shaule nodded. "Yeah, we put Ivan in charge."

Subaru's eye twitched. "You left Ivan in charge?"

Halibal shrugged. "He's not that bad."

Subaru facepalmed. "He once got lost in the same alley three times in a row while chasing a single enemy."

Shaule chuckled. "Hey, at least he's persistent."

Subaru groaned. "If we come back and find out he burned down our entire base, I'm blaming you two."

Halibal grinned. "Then let's just enjoy the festival while we still have a base to return to!"

Subaru sighed in defeat. "Fine, but if I hear one explosion from the distance, we're leaving early."

Meanwhile in the Witch's Hand Base, as it shows man with white hair, blue eyes and dark skin as he was trying too touch something another member.

"Ivan don't touch the bosses things".

Ivan pouted as he pulled his hand back from the strange glowing artifact on Subaru's desk. "Oh, come on! I was just gonna look at it!"

The other member, a tall woman with short red hair, crossed her arms. "Last time you 'just looked' at something, we had to rebuild half the base."

Ivan huffed. "That was one time—"

Another member walked in, looking panicked. "Uh, guys? We have a problem."

Ivan turned to him, raising an eyebrow. "What kind of problem?"

The panicked member gulped. "There's a Witch Cult group marching toward our base... and they look pissed."

Ivan blinked. "Oh."

The red-haired woman groaned. "Subaru is going to kill us."

Ivan cracked his knuckles, grinning. "Nah, he'll thank us when we wipe these guys out before he even knows they existed."

The panicked member hesitated. "...You do have a plan, right?"

Ivan smirked. "Of course! Step one: We charge at them head-on. Step two: We beat them up. Step three: Profit!"

The red-haired woman sighed. "We're so doomed."

Another one spoken. "At least this is one of our many bases".

Ivan grinned. "Exactly! If this place gets wrecked, we just move to another one. No big deal!"

The red-haired woman facepalmed. "That's not how base management works, idiot."

The panicked member sighed. "So, are we actually going to defend this place or what?"

Ivan stretched his arms. "Well, we could fight them... or we could set up some traps, mess with them a little, and then fight them."

The red-haired woman smirked. "Now that I can get behind."

Another member chimed in. "Alright, but let's make sure we don't completely destroy the base this time. Subaru will be really mad if we lose another one."

Ivan scoffed. "Relax! Worst case, we just tell him it was an 'unexpected field test of our emergency relocation plan'."

Everyone stared at him.

"...Yeah, we're doomed," the red-haired woman muttered.

Back in the Memorys In Snow party the first competition was started it was snow building computations.

Petra then spoke as she looked at Subaru. "Big Brother I will win again this time again".

Meili looked at her as she spoken. "Your Rabbit Tank was a one and done thing, this time I will win".

Subaru smirked as he stretched his arms. "Oh? Then I guess I'll have to step up my game too!"

Felt grinned, nudging Reinhard. "Oi, what if we build a snow dragon? That'd be sick!"

Reinhard nodded. "I'll help, but let's make sure it's structurally sound."

Crusch, folding her arms, looked at Ferris. "We should make something elegant, don't you think?"

Ferris giggled. "How about a giant snow sword, Crusch-sama? That'd be super elegant!"

Anastasia smirked. "I'll build a snow fox. That way, it'll match my scarf."

Priscilla waved her fan dismissively. "Hmph. A trivial game. However, if I must participate, my sculpture shall be beyond divine."

Al chuckled. "I'll just help you, princess."

Meanwhile, Otto shivered under his blankets. "Can I just be a judge instead?"

As everyone gathered their snow, the competition was about to begin.

The snow-building competition officially started, and everyone rushed to their spots, gathering snow and shaping their creations.

Petra quickly began crafting what looked like a giant snow bear, determined to win against Meili this time.

Meili, on the other hand, had an army of small snow Mabeasts forming in front of her, each one detailed with fierce little expressions.

Subaru, with a mischievous grin, decided to recreate the Rasengan from Naruto using compact snow and ice layers. "This is gonna be my ultimate technique!"

Felt and Reinhard worked together on their snow dragon, making sure it had detailed wings and a long tail.

Crusch and Ferris, true to their style, built a massive snow sword, elegantly shaped with intricate carvings, resembling a royal blade.

Anastasia's snow fox had a flowing tail and sharp ears, standing proudly as if it were alive.

Priscilla and Al, despite her earlier indifference, built a majestic snow throne, decorated with ice shards, making it look like it belonged to a queen.

As time passed, everyone added their final touches, and the judges—Roswaal, Beatrice, and Otto (who was still wrapped in blankets)—began walking around to inspect.

Otto sighed. "Alright, let's see who—"

CRASH!

Before he could finish, a massive snowball rolled out of nowhere and destroyed Subaru's Rasengan sculpture.

Everyone turned to look at the culprit.

It was Lucifer and Meili, who had started a snowball war while waiting!

Subaru fell to his knees, dramatically. "NOOO! My masterpiece!"

Beatrice huffed. "Stop being dramatic, I suppose. It wasn't that great to begin with, in fact."

Subaru clutched his chest. "Betrayal… my own loli spirit turning against me…"

Beatrice rolled her eyes while Emilia giggled.

With the destruction of Subaru's sculpture, the judges finally announced the winners.

First Place: Felt & Reinhard's Snow Dragon (for its incredible detail and size)

Second Place: Crusch & Ferris's Snow Sword (elegant and precise)

Third Place: Petra's Snow Bear (adorably well-made)

Subaru sulked. "I was robbed…"

Felt patted his back. "You lost to the best, don't cry about it."

The competition ended in laughter, and with the festival still going strong, the next event was about to begin!

As then some of the kids were doing a snow ball match before the snow ball computationa can start it pilled up, as it then tunred into a giant snow ball as rain down and got bigger, as it hit all the status espionage the top 3

The snow ball hit all the snow statute as then it hits Crush hit the snow sword not only did it hit thw sword but the snow piled up and it piled up all, as then when everyone they were shcoke when they saw it, as they saw that Crusch, Felt and Petra statue had fused as ri looked every different it looked like a weeding culprit with the couple kinds looking like Subaru and Cursch.

Otto then spoken. "How is that even possible".

Everyone stood in stunned silence as they took in the bizarre sight before them—a snow wedding sculpture, with the "bride" and "groom" looking suspiciously like Subaru and Crusch.

Ferris blinked, then burst out laughing. "Pffft! Subaru-kyun, are you hiding something from us~?"

Crusch, standing beside Subaru, crossed her arms and frowned slightly. "I would also like to know how this happened."

Subaru threw his hands up. "Oi, don't look at me! This is pure chaos at work!"

Emilia pouted. "Subaru, why does it always have to be you in these situations?"

Felt smirked and nudged Crusch. "Oi, Crusch, you thinking of replacing the throne with a wedding hall?"

Crusch sighed. "Felt, please stop."

Meanwhile, Petra was staring at the sculpture with wide eyes, her face slowly turning red. "T-This wasn't my intention at all!"

Meili, who had thrown the snowball in the first place, tried her best to look innocent. "Oops?"

Otto, still baffled, rubbed his forehead. "I swear, staying in this mansion is ruining my sense of logic."

The entire crowd was torn between laughter, disbelief, and curiosity about just how a giant snowball had sculpted something so precise.

Roswaal, ever the instigator, chuckled. "Ooooh my, perhaaaps this is faaate~?"

Subaru groaned. "No, this is a snowball from hell!"

With the sculptures completely destroyed and the competition in shambles, the group ultimately decided to move on to the next event—an all-out snowball fight!

Ram looked at Crusch and Subaru. "Are we sure we are just gonna ignore the snow statue, like is this the fu-".

Both Subaru and Crusch spoke together. "We are just friends, sure we hangout a lot, and spar in a daily based but that is because I respect Him/Her".

Ram sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Right. Sure. Just friends. Definitely no underlying tension there at all."

Ferris smirked and leaned in toward Crusch. "Ara~ Crusch-sama, should I start preparing your wedding dress~?"

Crusch shot Ferris a sharp look. "Ferris."

Ferris put his hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay! But you can't blame me for teasing when fate itself is pushing you two together~"

Subaru groaned and rubbed his face. "Can we not turn this into a romantic drama? I already have enough stress dodging Reinhard every time he gets close to figuring out I'm Rusa."

Felt laughed. "Oi, maybe that's why Crusch hangs around you so much—she's just waiting for the moment you slip up."

Crusch smirked slightly. "Now that's an interesting theory."

Subaru gulped. "Oi, oi, don't joke like that!"

Meanwhile, Emilia was looking between Subaru and Crusch with narrowed eyes. "Hmm..."

Beatrice sighed. "Enough with this nonsense, I suppose. Can we please move on to the next event?"

Roswaal clapped his hands. "Yeees~! Now, onto the grand snowball war!"

Everyone quickly forgot about the awkward moment as the battlefield was drawn. Snow forts were built, teams were made, and the true chaos was about to begin!
