Princess Bom

Chapter 6: Faye's POV

The next morning, I found myself sitting in a royal carriage, squeezed

awkwardly between king Regis and Bom. Across from me sat the three musketeers Regis

loyal guards : Hector, Victor, and Bob—Regis' arranged from tallest to

shortest. All of them were staring at me that was weird .

We were headed to the village of Regsialand His parent creativity was low to

name him Regis … , where I was supposed to make a public appearance.

The early morning sun was rising, casting a golden glow over the kingdom. As

we left the castle grounds, I finally got to see it from a distance. The castle

looked unreal—massive Impressive, with black and red architecture towering over

the land like something out of a dream. After that, the scenery changed to

endless fields and farms, a rich green landscapes . It was breathtaking.

But just as I was admiring the beauty of the Nature, a sudden pain shot

through my head and stomach.

I clutched my head with both arms, groaning. Regis immediately noticed.

"Faye dear ? Are you okay do you feel well ?" he asked, his voice filled

with concern.

I couldn't answer—the pain was too intense.

Bom suddenly widened his eyes. "Oh… oops again , I forgot to mention

something very important."

Regis and the three guards all yelled at the same time, "No way AGAIN?!"

But before I could hear any more, darkness took over, and I blacked out.

Regis' POV

One second, Faye was holding her head in pain, and the next—she lunged at me…

Her once-soft blue eyes had turned blood-red, her golden hair that after the

ressucated thing become pink now had switched to pure white ! She like to change

from looks I guess ! , and her face twisted into something almost…

monstrous. No, Regis. Don't say that about your fiancée. Stay calm.

I screamed loudly , and the carriage skidded to a halt.

Bom was laughing. That bastard was LAUGHING in front of me .

The guards tried to pull her off me, but it was like she was possessed. She

was stronger than any of them, her grip tightening as if she wanted to—

BITE ME?!

Or ?

No No Faye will never do that ! .

Bom finally intervened, grabbing Faye and yanking her away from me. I

stumbled back, breathing heavily.

I turned to him, furious. "HOW DO YOU FORGET SOMETHING THIS IMPORTANT Bom ?!"

Bom just grinned. "Oops, sorry, Your Highness. She's just hungry. She needs

to eat."

Bob, ever the genius, spoke up. "I have some chocolate if you want."

Hector and Victor turned to stare at him like he was the biggest idiot

they'd ever seen.

Bom sighed. "She needs RAW MEAT or one of your guards you don't need three ."

After hearing That ,Victor didn't even hesitate—he leaped out of the

carriage and sprinted toward the nearest butcher shop.

Fifteen minutes later, he returned, panting, with a large bundle of raw meat

in his arms.

Bom slowly released Faye.

She pounced on the meat like a wild animal attacking her prey.

We all scrambled out of the carriage, forming a blockade. If she got out,

she'd probably try to eat the villagers or Me…

A few minutes later, we heard her voice again.

"…What happened?"

We hesitated before cautiously opening the door.

Faye sat there, looking completely normal. Well, aside from the blood on her

hands…

Then she looked down at herself. Her eyes widened in horror.

"No… no, no, no!" she cried. "I killed someone?! What did I do?!" Tears

welled up in her mesmerizing eyes.

I hesitantly reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. "No, Faye. It's

okay. You didn't kill anyone. It was just raw meat."

Bom snorted. "Yeah, you just tried to EAT YOUR FIANCÉ."

Faye's face turned pale. Her shocked expression was priceless.

I shot Bom a glare. "SHUT UP ."

Bom smirked but held his hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay. But what's your

plan? The villagers are waiting for 'Sweet, Kind and pretty Faye,' but unless

you want them to disappear into her stomach, you can't take her like this."

I turned to him and Faye, my mind racing. He was right. We couldn't risk

another episode like this in public. What if she transformed again?

I clenched my jaw. "You're right. But first—EXPLAIN. What the hell is

happening to her?!"

Bom shrugged. "She's a hybrid, like me. Half-human, half-monster. Sometimes,

hunger takes over, and the monster instincts kick in. I've had decades to

control mine since I'm immortal. But she's new to this."

Faye's eyes filled with tears. "So… I'm a human-eater?" she whispered. "But

I don't want to be one…"

Bom gave her a rare serious look. "Don't worry. I'll help you learn to

control it. But for now, she can't go anywhere."

I grabbed Bom by the collar and pulled him close, shouting in his face. "IS

THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU FORGOT TO TELL US about ?!"

Bom blinked. "Uh… if I didn't forget anything again, then… no, that's

everything I think ?"

I exhaled sharply, letting him go. "Then what do we do? The villagers are

expecting to see Faye. We need a solution."

Bom grinned. "Easy. Find a girl that looks like her."

I groaned. "And where do I find a girl like her in LESS THAN AN HOUR?!"

Bob suddenly stepped forward. "Bom looks pretty cute. Maybe with a wig, he

could be Faye?"

Bom turned pale. "IN YOUR DREAMS. I AM NOT DOING THIS."

Faye tilted her head, studying him. "He's actually the closest match out of

all five of you…"

Bom's eyes widened in horror. "No You too, Faye?!"

Bob grinned. "You were resurrected from the dead. We'll just tell them that

her face looks a little different for a few days, but she'll go back to normal

soon."

I sighed. "…Bring a blonde wig. The villagers don't know about her new hair

color yet."

Bob ran off to find one, while Bom continued screaming, "I WILL NEVER DO IT Never."

Until Bob returned and forcibly placed the wig on Bom's head.
