Gobmo

After practicing four or five times, Gobli was able to produce decent roasted meat. Although it was still far from Goblo's level, it was passable.

Before long, the aroma of the meat wafted through the air, making the goblins training outside drool uncontrollably. However, due to the pressure from Goblo, only four bold ones dared to abandon their training and run over, while the rest continued to train obediently.

Seeing the four goblins who had run off, Goblo's eyes darkened, and he memorized their appearances. These four disobedient goblins could serve as examples to warn the others. Of course, he wouldn't impose overly severe punishments.

When the four goblins met Goblo's gaze, they were startled. Three of them immediately fled, leaving only one who continued to stare intently at the roasting meat over the fire. Seeing the determination in this goblin's eyes, Goblo became intrigued. This little goblin had quite the guts.

"Come here," Goblo said coldly to the goblin.

Hearing Goblo call him, the goblin was momentarily stunned. After looking around to confirm it was indeed him being called, he cautiously approached Goblo.

Seeing this, Goblo was inwardly surprised. As an evolved goblin, he exerted a natural dominance over ordinary goblins. Speaking to them in such a cold tone should have frozen them in fear, but this little guy had some backbone.

Goblo liked bravery, so he decided to nurture this one.

He then took out a roasted pig leg and placed it in front of the goblin. The aroma made the little goblin drool profusely, but he still didn't dare to snatch it and eat it in front of Goblo.

"Do you want to eat it?" Goblo asked.

"Yes, I want to eat it!" the goblin nodded vigorously.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Gobmo."

"Gobmo, I see. If you want to eat, it's not impossible. Have you finished today's training tasks?"

"I finished them," Gobmo answered honestly.

Hearing this, Goblo was surprised because, under normal circumstances, the training tasks he assigned would take until dusk to barely complete.

"I'll give you one more chance to tell the truth. Did you really finish the training?"

"I finished it," Gobmo replied without changing his expression. Seeing this, Goblo was impressed. Regardless of whether the goblin had actually finished the training, he certainly had courage.

Goblo handed the roasted pig leg to him and said, "If you finished, then eat."

Receiving Goblo's permission, the goblin was momentarily stunned but then began devouring the pig leg voraciously. In no time, he had eaten every last bit of it.

"Are you full?"

"Not yet," the goblin answered truthfully.

"Do all the training exercises again, and you can have another pig leg like this."

Hearing Goblo's words, Gobmo's eyes lit up.

He immediately ran back to the training field to continue his exercises. Goblo wasn't worried about the possibility of overtraining for these goblins. In his memories, no matter how intense the first day of training was, as long as they consumed enough nutrients, they would recover fairly quickly. Sometimes there might be some lingering injuries, but after evolution, their bodies would be reborn and purified, essentially eliminating all those hidden wounds.

Before long, night fell. By now, most of the prey Goblo had hunted that day had been processed. The hunting squad and the training squad had returned, and a group of goblins gathered together, chattering excitedly about the bonfire feast.

"What do you think Big Brother Goblo meant by a bonfire feast?" one goblin asked curiously.

"I heard from Big Brother Gobra that it's when there's lots of food, and everyone gathers around to dance."

"What's dancing?"

"Dancing is just dancing."

...

After evolving, Goblo's hearing had become exceptionally sharp. Although he was some distance away, he could roughly make out what they were saying. Soon, he arrived at the bonfire feast site. Behind him, several goblins pushed carts loaded with large amounts of roasted meat. The moment the carts were brought forward, all the goblins present stared wide-eyed, their attention completely captured.

Goblo looked at the goblins' eager eyes, a slight smile curling at the corners of his mouth. He then spoke up, "All of this is for you to eat. In the future, the amount of food you receive will depend on your training performance. However, today, there are a few individuals who don't deserve to participate in this bonfire feast."

As he spoke, Goblo's gaze locked onto the few goblins who had abandoned their training earlier.

"Step forward, you four," he commanded.

Hearing Goblo's voice, the goblins trembled as they stepped forward. Only Gobmo, who had already spoken with Goblo, seemed less afraid.

"You all left your training midway today. If you want to join this feast, you'll have to complete your training again. Only after finishing can you eat. Each of you will get a pig leg. Gobmo has already done his training, so he can participate without repeating it."

Upon hearing Goblo's words, the other three goblins were filled with regret. Why had they run off earlier? Now they had to redo their training.

Only Gobmo felt no regret, as he would now receive twice as much food as the others.

Soon, their strong desire overcame their exhaustion. The three goblins, despite their tired bodies, forced themselves to return to training.

With that, the bonfire feast officially began. Due to the limited amount of food, each goblin was given a portion of meat roughly the size of a pig leg.

While it didn't seem like much, for goblins, this portion was usually more than they could finish in one sitting. Goblo also wanted to use this opportunity to observe which of his goblins had potential.

As the feast started, Goblo ate voraciously while keeping a watchful eye on the others. Now that he had evolved into an elite-level creature and his small stomach had upgraded to a medium-sized one, his appetite had grown significantly. In the end, he alone devoured ten magical beasts before feeling full.

Feeling his increased appetite, Goblo was naturally very pleased. This meant his strength would grow even faster.

As for the other goblins, faced with the delicious roasted meat, more than half couldn't finish their portions. Only fifteen goblins managed to eat everything.

Goblo paid special attention to these goblins and noticed that both Gobra and Gobmo were among them. From what he could see, the goblins who could eat more seemed to have better potential. He decided to focus on training these goblins first, then have them teach the others.
