Chapter 113: Thunderous Majesty Recounts the Truth

Chapter 113: Thunderous Majesty Recounts the Truth

Anna, under the little tiger suit, was in so much pain that tears were about to fall.

She couldn't help but grip Marley's hand tightly, looking at her with teary eyes.

But Marley was actually a very intelligent girl; how could she not have seen that the second princess moved her foot first?

She pretended not to see, took Anna's paw, and led her to the other side.

The second princess glared fiercely at Dark Demon, but was met with Angie's gloating gaze.

...

One song ended.

Dark Demon released Angie's paw, performed a standard noble bow, and prepared to walk off the stage.

Angie, however, suddenly grabbed his hand and whispered, "Next year, Anna and I will also enroll."

A thought stirred in Dark Demon's mind, and he congratulated them in advance, "Congratulations."

Angie then giggled and withdrew her hand.

Only then did Dark Demon walk off the stage.

But he was thinking to himself: If these two little hellions enrolled, wouldn't that be something?

...

Dark Demon, having walked off stage, was quickly snatched away by Diana.

The Dark Night Prince and the Dark Night Princess finally held hands for the second song.

Diana's dance steps weren't very skilled yet, so Dark Demon patiently taught her.

Then, for the third song, and the fourth song, the two were together.

Diana smiled from ear to ear the entire time, occasionally glancing towards the professors' seating area.

Most of the professors hadn't entered the dance floor.

Beside Professor Lily Laplace, who was sprawled on the table, Anna and Angie, having removed their costume heads, were bickering.

Princess Elisa was whispering something to the Headmistress on the other side.

The masquerade ball was still lively.

But St. Marian's Castle seemed not to have returned to tranquility.

...

At this time, in the infirmary.

Virt Gold finally "woke up" under Sister Carian's treatment. Seeing himself in the mirror restored to his original state, he couldn't help but weep with emotion.

"Instead of just standing there, come help. What a Halloween ball, damn it!"

Sister Carian muttered profanities unbecoming of a nun, quickly preparing the antidote for the Soul-Lost Water.

Virt blushed, and just as he was about to help, Professor Silf called him out.

Facing Professor Silf's scrutiny, Virt braced himself and recounted what happened after he was attacked in the secret passage.

Professor Silf listened carefully, then cross-verified with Dark Demon's account, confirming that neither had lied.

Afterward, she took the mental examination report on the cult members from Sister Carian's hand and immediately understood everything.

The whole matter, when summarized, wasn't actually complicated.

It was just that someone had done something using the statue of the Moon Goddess.

She might not have been the instigator, but she was definitely the main promoter.

And most of the participants, including the Moon Goddess, were merely pawns dancing in her palm.

Within St. Marian's Castle, the only people capable of such an operation were naturally the current professors.

And the only professors not in the banquet hall at midnight tonight were Professor Kazel and Professor Didi.

Recalling the past of those two, Professor Silf sighed softly, "No wonder when I was patrolling with Didi a few nights ago, I always felt something was wrong."

The small sphinx-like spirit floated on her shoulder, and Headmistress Cynthia's voice emerged from it, "Bring Virt, we're going to the spiral clock tower."

However, before Professor Silf could make a move.

A loud bang suddenly erupted from the direction of the spiral clock tower!

...

"Boom!"

Golden lightning, almost tearing the night sky apart, struck straight down.

Thunder suddenly exploded at the top of the spiral clock tower!

The magic power within the castle was disrupted, and the magic lights in the first-floor banquet hall instantly went out.

The melody of the ball also came to an abrupt halt.

The students, originally immersed in the joyful atmosphere, were instantly panicked by this series of changes.

The lower-year students couldn't help but scream.

Darkness and chaos swept in.

Some students hurriedly fumbled for their magic cards, but the erroneously summoned magic spirits further exacerbated the chaos.

Dark Demon, tense for only a moment, quickly calmed down.

He confirmed his direction in the darkness, his gaze fixed on the source of the thunder.

Diana, however, had rushed to him at the first instant, but Dark Demon wasn't sure if Diana was truly afraid.

...

"Ding ding ding."

The crisp sound of wind chimes echoed in the air.

A giant wind chime emitting a faint yellow glow flew to every corner of the banquet hall.

The banquet hall was illuminated once more.

Dark Demon patted Diana's shoulder. Only then did she purse her lips, lift her head, and say blankly, "Is it morning?"

"Morning, my foot!"

Dark Demon poked her forehead to push her away, then whispered, "I have something to do."

Before Diana could react, he had already retreated into the crowd and disappeared in an instant.

...

An arc of electricity flashed again outside the banquet hall window, but it was far less shocking than the first time.

Dark clouds suddenly swept in, obscuring the bright moon, and a heavy rain began to fall over St. Marian.

Dark Demon arrived at the castle entrance, glanced at the Dark Night Prince set he was wearing, then quickly drew the [Costume Change Card] and switched to the [Tuxedo Mask set].

Wearing the tall top hat, he lowered his head and rushed into the rain.

This rain had come extremely quickly, extremely unusually.

Through the continuous rain screen, the top of the spiral clock tower could be seen emitting a brilliant light.

Dark Demon confirmed the source of the first thunderclap, then immediately drew his House Card and summoned his familiar.

DemiDevimon, still in LadyDevimon form, deliberately pressed close from behind Dark Demon, whispering sweet nothings in his ear.

Dark Demon ignored her: "Take me up!"

LadyDevimon's expression turned serious, and she immediately embraced him: "Yes, Master."

Thus, human and pet flew towards the top of the spiral clock tower under the torrential rain.

But on the other side.

Professor Silf, transformed into wind, was faster than him!

Virt, who had been standing with her, had just climbed onto the sphinx's back when Professor Silf had already appeared at the top of the spiral clock tower.

Soon after, Dark Demon, with LadyDevimon's help, flew to the top of the tower.

Professor Silf didn't even glance at him before recognizing his identity: "Dark, stay away!"

Dark Demon's heart tightened, and his gaze swept across the top of the tower.

He saw Professor Kazel kneeling on one knee, surrounded by eight shields, while a Snow-Feathered Gold-Eyed Beast above his head let out a sharp, long cry.

The magic spirit, originally only the size of a small cat, had now transformed into the size of a lion, its snow-white wings suddenly spread, golden light shining from its eyes.

And opposite Professor Kazel, a pixie about his height held a wand high, her butterfly wings flapping rapidly behind her.

Dark Demon had read about it in a book; it was an old-era wand on par with [God's Wrath]—[Thunderous Majesty]!

...

"Boom!"

Another bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, illuminating the pixie's face.

Though slightly youthful.

But her exquisite features all bespoke her beauty.
