Chapter3-Are You Treating Your Female Classmates Like Maids?

Ilan Royal Academy, Administrative Building, Headmaster's Office.

Headmaster Simar finished organizing the day's work and stretched his weary body.

"Phew, finally done."

He muttered to himself, standing up, ready to head home.

But just as he stepped out of his office, his vision suddenly went black—a burlap sack dropped from the sky and covered his entire head.

"Who?!"

Simar was both shocked and furious. As a powerful mid elite mage, he instinctively reacted.

"Scorching Sun Impact!"

Raising his wand high, he swiftly chanted the incantation. In an instant, a ball of scorching white light condensed at the tip of his wand.

This was a Mid-tier Fire Magic that only elite mages could master.

Simar was confident in his strength, certain that he could reduce his assailant to ashes.

However—

An even more blinding light, far more dazzling than the glow on Simar's wand, erupted without warning!

"Boom!"

With a violent explosion, Simar's clothing, hair, and the burlap sack on his head were all incinerated into ashes!

"Ah—!"

Simar let out a miserable scream, but he quickly realized—he wasn't injured.

The mysterious white light had precisely avoided his body.

Still shaken, Simar caught a glimpse of a dark figure darting away at extreme speed, vanishing into the distance.

"Rogue Thief Kid! You bastard! I'll kill you!"

Simar roared in fury, his voice dripping with rage!

Before long, the grand scholars of Ilan Royal Academy, alarmed by the commotion, gathered at the administrative building.

Seeing the scene before them, many of them wore strange expressions.

Bachelor Geoffrey coughed lightly, suppressing his laughter as he approached Simar and whispered.

"Headmaster, please mind your dignity…"

It was only then that Simar realized his current state. His face flushed deep red with shame and fury.

"Levitation spell!"

He hurriedly floated back to his office in an embarrassing attempt to retrieve a spare magic robe from his cabinet.

Bachelor Geoffrey watched Simar's retreating figure before turning to the nearby grand scholars.

Exchanging glances, they began murmuring among themselves.

"This Rogue Thief Kid is getting more and more outrageous!"

"Yes, at first, he only attacked ordinary students… then it was elite students, then professors, then grand scholars…"

"And now, even the headmaster has fallen victim. This is absurd!"

"But…"

Bachelor Geoffrey suddenly changed his tone.

"Objectively speaking, this has actually led to an improvement in Ilan Royal Academy's overall strength."

"After all, to avoid becoming victims, everyone is now working harder to get stronger."

Royal Academy, a secluded corner.

Harvey was on patrol when he suddenly saw a dark shadow flash past him.

"Who's there?!"

Harvey was startled and immediately drew his sword, giving chase.

The shadow moved at incredible speed, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Looking into the distance, Harvey noticed that the shadow's destination was the private chamber of elite student Leit.

"That's strange. Why did it vanish here?"

Harvey scanned his surroundings in confusion.

Just then, he saw Joad returning from the direction of Leit's chamber.

"Joad? What are you doing here?"

Harvey eyed Joad in surprise, voicing his suspicion.

"My dear brother, why are you still awake?"

Joad, too, seemed surprised to see Harvey.

"I just saw a dark figure running this way. Did you see anything?"

"A dark figure?"

Joad looked confused and instinctively shook his head.

"No, I've been here the whole time. I didn't see anything."

Harvey frowned. Something felt off, but he couldn't pinpoint what.

"…Alright. Get some rest."

Harvey gave Joad a final reminder before turning away.

Joad stood in place, watching Harvey's figure disappear into the distance, then let out a quiet sigh.

Sigh… this Ilan Royal Academy is really exhausting.

How did these people have no awareness of danger whatsoever?

In such a perilous world, how could they protect his safety without improving their strength?

Joad rubbed his temples as fatigue crept over him.

Every time he ranked up, he had to go out and find someone to fight. Due to the special nature of his bloodline, he could only accurately gauge his strength through actual combat.

For his own protection, he had specifically learned numerous shadow magic techniques, including body doubles and various stealth spells—even a grand archmage would struggle to see through them!

That was why he dared to disguise himself as Rogue Thief Kid, working tirelessly to push Ilan Royal Academy to increase its overall strength!

The Next Day – Ilan Royal Academy, Conference Room

The atmosphere was heavy, tension thick in the air.

Professors and grand scholars sat grim-faced, their eyes burning with anger and frustration.

"This Rogue Thief Kid is a devil!"

"My treasured magic notes, accumulated over years, were completely destroyed by him!"

"And my wand—that cost me half a lifetime's savings!"

A short, stout grand scholar joined the chorus of complaints.

"My laboratory is a complete mess! All my research materials—ruined!"

"My months of painstaking experiments—all gone!"

"..."

Simar, the headmaster, took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing his fury. Sweeping his gaze across the room, he spoke in a grave tone.

"The priority now is to catch this Kid!"

"We cannot allow him to continue running rampant!"

"Otherwise, the Ilan Royal Academy's reputation will be utterly ruined!"

Outside the Dormitories

Harvey stood at the entrance, deep in thought, his brows furrowed.

"Rogue Thief Kid… could it really be Joad?"

He muttered, replaying last night's events in his mind.

Joad's reaction had been far too suspicious.

And yet… it just didn't seem possible.

Joad was still just an apprentice mage.

How could an apprentice mage possess such overwhelming strength?

Harvey pushed open the dormitory door and stepped inside. The next moment, he froze.

By the Goddess of Magic statue, Joad was reclining on a luxurious lounge chair, eyes closed, appearing utterly relaxed.

Around him, several young female students were gathered, gently massaging him.

"Joad, is this pressure alright?"

A sweet-voiced girl inquired softly.

"Mm, not bad. A little harder."

Joad responded lazily, not even bothering to open his eyes.

"Joad, about our issue…"

Joad yawned, replying nonchalantly.

"Don't worry, I've noted down all your problems. I'll relay them to Leit later."

Harvey stood dumbfounded.

He gaped, utterly unable to believe what he was witnessing.

"Joad! What the hell are you doing?!"

"They're your classmates, not your maids!"

"How could you let them give you a massage?!"

Joad was startled by Harvey's shout, snapping his eyes open and sitting up abruptly.

"Brother? Why are you back?"

He looked genuinely confused, as if he didn't understand why Harvey was so angry.

"I… I didn't force them…"

"They're doing it voluntarily."

"Yes, Harvey! We volunteered!"

The female students hurriedly explained.

"We came to consult Leit about our magic problems."

"And while we were here… we thought we'd help Joad relax."

Harvey opened his mouth but found himself speechless.

"Brother, you really misunderstood me…"

Joad looked at Harvey with utmost sincerity.

In reality, these female students sought him out to ask magic-related questions.

And since Joad was the only one who had direct contact with Leit, they requested his help.

But what only Joad knew—was that he had already solved all their questions himself!

The Ilan Royal Academy's atmosphere was far too lazy. If he didn't step up, who would?

Joad's greatest dream was to stay in the academy indefinitely, cultivating until he reached the realm of the legendary Mage God!

Harvey's anger gradually subsided. Looking at the female students, he sighed.

"You should all head back."

The students promptly departed. Just as Harvey prepared to confront Joad about House Whide's honor—

A tall figure rushed in, panic-stricken.

"Bad news! Leit is in trouble!"

"There's an abnormal mana fluctuation in his chamber's magic array!"
